Marton Cinema

Description

The Marton Cinema is a classic example of classic 1920s style.

From the rich blue vitrolite gleaming on her facade to the perfectly preserved organ she's all art deco.

Its on the fringes of the action in Malton and has suffered less than some other buildings.

Of particular note are the polished teak planks on here barricades.

History

From its construction in 1924 through the mid 1990s, the Marton Cinema was where 1st run features in Foulkes Village were debued.

By the time of the Quarrantine the Marton was shwing classic, foreign, and independent films.

At the moment the city was sealed she was in the midst of a classic science fiction festival.

Those films represent her current library.

Barricade Policy

EHB - Extremely Heavily Barricaded - is the Marton's preferred status.

Once a Zed has slobberred all over your 35mm celluloid copy of Flesh Gordon it will never be the same.

The warehouse adjacent 1 East is the entry and smoking lounge.
