Moon Bank is a small metal-and-glass building riddled with bullet holes.

History

Moon Bank was a family-run financial institution established by Korean entrepreneurs. Arriving in Malton as traders in electronic goods in the 1980s, the Moon family was so successful they decided to put down roots in this wealthy suburb as merchant bankers to well-heeled Wykewoodites.

Initially facing enormous hostility from ignorant locals assuming they were members of the 'Moonie cult', the family showed its diplomatic skills by inviting everyone round for an opening party featuring copious amounts of kimchi and entertainment by K-Disco musicians - the precursors of 'K-Pop'. Needless to say this was a massive success and soon everyone was raving about partying "Oppan Wykewood Style" and dancing as if they were driving invisible BMWs.
