Description

Morliere Towers is a 34-story condominium tower located in the suburb of Pescodside alongside the very eastern edge of Malton's quarantine zone.

Morliere Towers (left), was built alongside Wyld Towers (right) during the CityPlace Condo Project.

Built during the CityPlace Condo Project, construction for Morliere Towers started in 1996 and was completed 2 1/2 years later making it the second of five condominiums constructed to help revitalize dropping property values in Dulston, Pescodside, and Brooksville. The other four condominiums being Newcombe Towers and Wyld Towers in Pescodside, Roadnight Towers in Dulston, and Mattick Towers in Brooksville. Advertising for the new condominiums varied, but the strategy marketed for Morliere Towers involved flashy advertisements in several popular purchased condo magazines that depicted the condominium along with the words...

Look far and wide.
Expand your horizon.
Indulge in high designer style.
Unobstructed skyline views.
Private direct-to-suite elevator.
Indoor private garage.
Own an elite lifestyle.
Live in Morliere Towers and own the sky.

While condo sales in all five buildings went reasonably well in the following months the project did not turn out to be the success city councilors and the condo corporation had hoped it would be. Further attempts to improve sales were cut short by the "Malton Incident", with the subsequent evacuation putting an end to any further marketing strategies.

Since then most of the condos have remained vacant, although survivors staying at Morliere Towers have often avoided the upper floors as several months ago a zombie siege in the tower left many of those suites covered in blood. Since no one bothered to clean up the mess the stench had become quiet rank and could be smelled by survivors the moment the reached those floors often causing them to vomit if unprepared.

Barricade Policy

This building should be Extremely Heavily barricaded at all times. This is in accordance with the mutually agreed-upon Pescodside Barricade Plan set forth by local survivor groups and the Dulston Alliance, who routinely work together to monitor that the barricades for this building are at the aforementioned level. This building is meant to serve as a safehouse for Malton's veteran survivors.

Survivors who find the building's barricades below their assigned level are asked to assist in raising them back up in order to help ensure the safety of all the survivors staying inside the building. Any survivor found lowering the barricades may be directly "put to the question" by any member of the Dulston Alliance or a vigilante-minded survivor who catches the culprit in the act. If this happens the accused survivor must present a valid reason for their actions or be labeled a zombie spy/death cultist and be judged accordingly. So always be cautious lest you find yourself summarily executed for crimes against humanity.
