August 26th

Nichols Mall ruined and burned. Unfortunately, zombies didn't get any kilts, but they stopped kilts sale. Survivors gathered in The Went NT building. About 35 zombies outside. Ruined kilt store and other Nichols Mall stores was cursed by Pagan ritual.

July 29th

30+ zombie have gathered outside the mall to protest the sale of kilts. Concerned zombies have said Stanbury Village needs to shake off its dirty reputation of clothes wearing and enjoy the unobstructed breeze. Survivors contend kilts are the ideal garment for any survivor no matter what the activity. With the MOB in the suburb as well as the Minions of the Apocalypse things are sure to heat up here soon. -- Papa Jadkor (RRF) (MotA) (MT11) 01:00, 30 July 2009 (BST)

June 12
Unsure how many zombies are outside, but the survivor population inside the mall has increased to 457 (as of an hour or so ago, at least). This may be due either to reinforcements, or to the fact that many of the RRF zombies are now regularly targeting the safehouses surrounding the mall. --Jen 03:18, 12 June 2008 (BST)
Currently 163 zombies outside the NE corner. There are several more scattered around the surrounding blocks. --J.Rickenbacher 18:28, 12 June 2008 (BST)
June 10
The siege is STILL going on (For like a month or so.) with 181 zeds outside standing and all but 3 of those are at the NE corner. All corners are lit and caded, but no radio transmitters are setup. The went building is still ruined with 19 zeds inside and 8 outside, but somehow revives are still going on at yeoman park.As we all know,RRF Gore Corps members and death cultists are active in the area but not as much as you would think they would be.Breaches and break-ins are a daily occurence here but the mall's defenders keep pushing them back. It's a pretty brutal battle here,it's amazing how long the survivors are holding and how persistent the zombies are.--Gamestriker4 16:29, 10 June 2008 (BST)
June 10
176 standing zombies [1] (outside the NE corner, at least...more are scattered around other locations), 385 survivors total in the mall. 50% powered. Went Building is ruined. LUE is reported to be on its way. --Jen 01:22, 10 June 2008 (BST)
June 7

May

May 30
Elements of the battle-hardened Ackland Mall Security group have begun filtering into the Mall to bring death to all that shambles. We hope that our willingness to defend our sister mall of Nichols will usher in a new era of survivor cooperation, and inspire Nichols humans to Ever-Greater Feats of Combat. --Tarumigan 10:10, 30 May 2008 (EST)
May 26
The real battle for the kilt may only be beginning. With Went NT collapsing under the weight of coordinated zombie strikes, it would seem that Nichols Mall is next in line for the Barhah death machine. --DDRJakeThe Kilt Store 16:20, 26 May 2008 (GMT)
May 21
The Battle of the Kilt is winding down, with barely 20 Zed and over 200 human in the mall.--Haliwali 04:43, 22 May 2008 (BST)
May 19
The battle of The Kilt Store wages on, with the tide turning in favour of the tartan survivors. At this moment, survivors from across the land have answered the call to arms and are taking the fight to the sieging RRF. Zombie numbers are also on the up, turning this into one of Stanbury Village's longest, most dramatic siege --DDRJake 10:49, 19 May 2008 (BST)The Kilt Store
Last count shows 250 survivors in the mall, full power and radio everywhere. Any cades that go down are repaired in moments. The only gripe is random revive DNA SCANNERS WON"T BITE YOU!--Haliwali 01:15, 20 May 2008 (BST)
Escapist teams are coming in to assist the in the Battle of the Kilt. Other survivors are coming in daily. Last count shows Zack with maybe 63, putting the battle at 4 humans to every zombie. Cades are being maintained at EHB. Most attacks are focused on the NE quadrant, but a switch will probably occur soon. STAY VIGILANT! --Haliwali 15:15, 20 May 2008 (BST)
May 16
Mall under heavy attack, all corner powerless and multiple break-in's in NE corner, lots of PKing has taken their toll. About 150 survivors spread throught the mall. Could do with a hand guys? -Moggan17
May 11, 2008
Sacked? All four corners powered, barricaded, and occupied by survivors who are broadcasting survivor propaganda on the usual station. Either the previous poster was mistaken, or that was the shortest mall occupation in Malton's history. --Gregory 04:20, 12 May 2008 (BST)
The latter. --Gafgar 12:10, 12 May 2008 (BST)
May 11
All four corners sacked after RRF blitz. BARHAH! --Gafgar 14:45, 11 May 2008 (BST)

February

February 35
The mall is surrounded, and zombies are repeatly breaking the cades down. As of 18:35, 24 February 2008 (UTC), the cades are down, in at least the SE corner. I recommend that the surviors cheese it (GTFO) of the mall as soon as they can. Comrade 47, 18:35, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
February 24
The mall is in survivor hands still, but is now surrounded by 100 Zombies. Whispers from the north tell of a resurgence of the The Many and of a brutal massacre in the blackmore building of 50 survivors. All survivors are urged to seek shelter and arm themselves immediately. DO NOT GO OUT ALONE!! --User:Anonymous/sig
February 17
The mall is in survivor hands once more, after an assault by the Army Control Corps and Cannonball Crew managed to clear and hold the building. It's also powered in 3 of the 4 corners. --McWaffle 17:33, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
February 15
Mall is again in ruins, with 11 zeds squatting inside (2 in NW corner, 2 NE, 5 SW, 2 SE). --Dan Everyman 01:18, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
February 10
Nichols Mall is repaired and barricaded, save for the SW corner. Buildings around the mall are still ruined and more survivors are needed immediately for a successful retaking of the suburb and subsequent reopening of the renowned Kilt Store. Without numbers, we haven't a chance. - Lucius8 @ 5:08PM EST
February 6
Nichols Mall down and completely ruined after a day-long seige. Zeds inside number 150+. Buildings throughout the suburb are falling by the hour and the area is becoming less and less human. Ruin everywhere... -Lucius8 @ 6:34PM

January

January 8
A report has come in from an anonymous source stating that a horde of Zeds are heading towards Nichols Mall. At the time of this report, all sections of the mall are powered, and all entry points are active and powered. -- Anikal 11:44, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
January 16
Some idiot extremely heavily & very heavily barricaded the entry points to Nicolas Mall. I could not gain entry and am stuck outside for zeds to kill, those are supposed to not be touched. I think some newb found the mall and doesn't know how to read a tag that says KEEP AT VERY STRONG BARRICADE. --Halo freak 117 17:45, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
Or maybe someone wanted to feed their zambah brazzaz!!!-- heathen at frightfan 01:30 16 Febuary 1st 2008 (UTC)

2007

December 23, 2007 I thought I could do my part and see how the seige is going, seeing as it hasn't been reported on in a couple of weeks (I'm hidding nearby). As show in this iwitness account there are currently no zombies standing outside the mall. As you can also see there, I didn't have the AP to see if the barricade had gone down/how many other dead bodies were lying around. But the attack has been resolved one way or the other and someone (who isn't a newbie like me) should report on which way this seige went. Koju the Quick 1:28, 23 December 2007

December 6, 2007 Large zombie force attacking the north western corner of the mall, barricades keep going up and down. All generators inside the mall are down due to zombie spies. Eat me for a prize 23:59, 6 December 2007 (PST)

November 8, 2007 Light zombie incursions into the NE corner with heavy PK attack. Survivors who like to remain that way are encouraged to kill RRF PKs known as the Gore Corps. Slicer 02:00, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

October 31, 2007 Three zeds/unknown bodies outside the SE corner, 1 zed/unknown bodies at the SW corner, 59zed/32 bodies NW corner, 2zeds/10 bodies NE corner. Lights are off at the NW corner-- I think it's an understatement to say that they could use help.   --cuio (talk) (NW) 03:19, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

October 29, 2007 North-eastern corner under continual attack. Minor zed incursions quickly repulsed but survivors need help maintaining 'cades. --Dan Everyman 07:17, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

October 26th, 2007 Mall and Went NT still holding strong, caded and lit. --evilbob 15:50, 26 October 2007 (BST)

October 16th, 2007 The mall is still ransacked, but there is a slow progress of removing the Zeds lingering in the building. Most of the surrounding area is still ransacked, but the Zeds are spread out enough that resistance barricades are staying relatively strong. --Psiborg 20:09, 16 October 2007 (EST)

October 11th, 2007 NW corner has been ransacked by combined zombie forces. --DonTickles 17:10, 11 October 2007 (BST)

The word "Barhah" is being moaned throughout all corners--Doctor Oberman 17:23, 11 October 2007 (BST)
Ah zah bazaar ahz ranzag--er, sorry. *ahem* The mall has now been completely ransacked. Much fun and brains had by all. Screenshot --Vandr 01:08, 12 October 2007 (BST)

October 9th, 2007 The NW corner was breached. The mall's generators have all been destoryed and nearly 20 zombies have gotten in. Another 162 zombies at the Went NT.--Doctor Oberman 22:54, 9 October 2007 (BST) September 23rd, 2007 Nichols is safe, with only occasional live zombies even spotted at the mall. Zombie attacks have all moved to the nearby Went NT building. --XPav 21:04, 23 September 2007 (PST)

September 14th, 2007 Nichols has been in survivor hands for nearly 2 weeks now. Occasional break-ins occur, mostly in the southwest corner, but the total # of zombies + bodies outside the wall has remained stable, while the # of survivors continues to grow. Nearby Went NT and Halsey Auto Repair are also similarly well defended, and the inhabitants of Nichols are proud to stand, in their kilts, providing a refuge in the otherwise dangerous heart of Malton. --XPav 08:44, 14 September 2007 (BST)

August 19th, 2007 All four corners are now completely emptied of survivors, ransacked, and ruined. (The NE corner destroyed, and last survivor having been slain by yours truly). Currently, 25+ Zombies in all corners except the SE corner, which only holds about 10, and nearly 150 Zombies outside the SW corner. Nichols Mall has now completely fallen under Zombie control. --Gorevomit 10:44, 19 August 2007 (Pacific Time)

August 19th, 2007 The SW and NW corners are ransacked and have about 30 zeds each. A small group of the walking dead are attacking the SE corner, while the NE corner is still in living hands, but that will not last for long. Most of the defenders are either dead or fled, yet about 30 are still standing and fighting. The siege will be over within hours. The Zombies have won. --Kazakum 08:55, 19 August 2007 (Pacific Time)

August 19th, 2007 The SW corner has had its barricades torn down. It has been ruined, with roughly 30 zombies standing in it. A handful of zombies are also attacking the NW corner. --Xshu 01:50, 20 August 2007 (BST)

August 19th, 2007 the zombies have decided to have an early Sunday full breakfast, destroying the barricades in the SW corner of the mall, and entering en masse towards a nutritive meal. 33 zombies are inside the mall, and the barricades are up again, but only 6 humans are still alive in that corner. --Jakio 14:17, 19 August 2007 (BST)

August 17th, 2007 It's clear that zombies from throughout Malton, even in their primitive mind-state, have come to understand that gloriously fine kilts are available in the SW corner of Nichols Mall and are just dying to get a hold of a kilt of their own. As a result, a horde of over 140 standing zombies is still milling about outside the SW corner of Nichols Mall clamoring for kilts (or "Gaghz!" or "Gargham!", for "tartan", as they pronounce them). What they don't seem to understand is that I DON'T SELL TO ZOMBIES. No matter how many get in or what they do upon arrival, they'll get no kilt from me. Thanks to modern vending machine technology I've devised a way for survivors to obtain the finest kilts in Malton even if I'm not present at the time, while still preventing zombies from purchasing them. Also, loyal customers of the Kilt Store get priority service for first-aid kits and revives from me. Will the zombies learn that only survivors can have the kilt? Stay tuned to find out. -- Kilt Store Owner 17 August 2007

I think we're planning on taking the kilts, not buying them. Forefully I might add. Even if your already wearing one. And to add some information, Nichols lights keep going on and off as we destroy generators, sometimes they're all on, except for the SW corner. --  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 01:28, 18 August 2007 (BST)

August 15th, 2007 All four corners of Nichols Mall have no generator, thanks to: Raaghbg the zombie: http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=604577 who broke in at lunchtime GMT (convenient) and dragged someone out into the street. So far only a half dozen zombies are inside so the survivors still have everything to play for! --SamtheMan 13:36, 15 August 2007 (BST)

Well, I'll be fair on this. Nichols mall's generators are broken and repaired more times than an old man's hip, per day. As are the cades. Anyone killed is seen at the mall within a day or two, but zombie numbers are extremely high, but roughly the same as survivors. This, after it is over, I personally believe will deserve its own historical page. Any takers? Nalikill 23:36, 15 August 2007 (BST)
Not really a historical event yet. The barricades continue to yo-yo as zombies get in and call for reinforcements every few hours. The lights flicker and the harmanz scream. People die at Nichols this day, as the last many. The siege rolls on.--Karekmaps?! 23:43, 15 August 2007 (BST)

August 15th, 2007 Nichols mall is currently blacked out and a few surrounding buildings are ruined, about 200 zombies are outside, including many from the RRF. Barricades constantly fall, many are killed, groans can be heard for blocks around as zombies continue to party hard and feast at Nichols Mall. --Karekmaps?! 11:42, 15 August 2007 (BST)

Rumours of full blackout are exaggerated, it only took few hours to restore light in the mall's cellar and few techincians are watching runnning generators with toolboxes in readiness --~~~~T''' 12:55, 15 August 2007 (BST)

August 12th, 2007Nichols Mall is under heavy fire and is struggling to survive. Some how the mall is managing and continues to beat back all those pesky zombies. One last push from survivors should do the trick.--Nevar 2:36, 13 August 2007 (BST)

August 8, 2007 Mall is holding, survivors need more people to cade and help relieve the siege. There are 120 standing zombies outside the SW against roughly 200 survivors in the whole mall at any one moment. Nalikill 13:48, 8 August 2007 (BST)

August 6, 2007 Okay, update on the mall's status. It's holding fine, but there are occasional breakins and additional men are needed to work the RP's. Some 100 zombies outside the mall's SW corner at any point in time. Zombies at other corners rare. Nalikill 14:16, 6 August 2007 (BST)

July 25, 2007
The Southeast corner is flooded with 84 zombies, but some thirty to fifty survivors are still in the mall, either unaware or ready to make a stand. Northeast and Southwest have roughly 5 zombies at any given point in time, and Northwest remains relatively untouched. Nalikill 13:43, 25 July 2007 (BST)

UPDATE: After over 12 hours of hard, bitter struggles, survivors fighting for every inch they must yield, only the NW corner remains with 18 survivors left, but 100 zombies inside the mall, all told. Nalikill 16:41, 25 July 2007 (BST)
UPDATE 2: After 15 hours of long, bitter struggles, the last survivors in Nichols are killed. The LUE has won, but not without a bitter fight, their longest ever, I believe. Nalikill 17:19, 25 July 2007 (BST)
Ackland Mall took two days when LUE first started out, a couple others have taken a little over a day. Also, half of LUE went to Hildebrand Mall while the other half wen to Nichols, so as much individual bravery as Nichols defenders showed, this was about par for the course.--Insomniac By Choice 21:01, 25 July 2007 (BST)

July 23, 2007
The Southwest corner has been breached. Now bring the harmanz into the light, brothers. --vhagz 22:38, 23 July 2007 (BST)

What he said, but, EVACUATE THE AREA, THEN RETAKE THE MALL.Nalikill 03:35, 25 July 2007 (BST)

July 18,2007
There is 43 zombies outside the SW corner and 2 zombies outside teh NE corner. The barricades are EHB from what I've seen. The mall is holding and help is on the way. Stay vigilant, folks. --Doggie 05:02, 18 July 2007 (BST)

July 16th, 2007
(Update) The southwest corner has 51 zombies located outside. Also the generator is out of fuel and the doors have been secured. Well all I can say is have a good evening occupants of Nichols Mall and the best of luck to you. --Badwolf Robotics talk-DDF- 20:17, 16 July 2007 (BST)

The southwest corner now has 51 zombies located at it. The Northwest corner has 2 zombies located at it. --Badwolf Robotics talk-DDF- 00:48, 16 July 2007 (BST)

July 14th, 2007
(update) It has now grown to around 50+ zombies at the Southwest corner and 10 dead bodies. Other than that the other corners have little or no zombies gathered at them. --Badwolf Robotics talk-DDF- 15:50, 14 July 2007 (BST)

Nichols Mall is still in survivor hands but around 38 zombies have gathered at the Southwest corner of the mall. --Badwolf Robotics talk-DDF- 00:23, 14 July 2007 (BST)

July 13th, 2007
Nichols Mall has been retaken by The Fortress, Team Zombie Hardcore and The Secret Six. The mall has been in suvivorhands for about one day now. All corners of the mall is EHB and the suburb is so-so stabile. There is 22 zombies outside the mall. But there's safehouses for everyone! There is absolutely no need to panic. Stay Vigilant! --Stark Senap 06:14, 13 July 2007 (BST)

July 8th, 2007
The Nichols Mall area is still zombie held and populated with Ferals and members of the RRF's DoHS group. Cannonball Crew and Malton Rangers are hiding out in the Nichols area and attempting to retake the mall.--karek 21:19, 8 July 2007 (BST)

All four corners of the mall are now ransacked after only a 28 hour siege.

June 28, 2007
Over the course of the night of the 27th and morning of the 28th the Southeast corner was cleared of survivors and ransacked followed by the same in the Southwest corner during the evening. Over two hundred total zombies inside the mall while survivor numbers steadily dwindle to death and retreat.

June 27, 2007
We can confirm that this is indeed the same horde that sieged Ackland Mall for two days (culminating in the final expulsion of Ackland Defense forces on June 23rd). As evidenced by the incredible speed with which Nichols was overrun, it seems fair to say that the warnings of LUE being a "Shacknews-class" horde are not overrated. Ackland analysts are of the opinion that absolutely no mall in Malton is safe from a horde this organized. Tarumigan

June 27, 2007
In a shocking 20 minute strike, the RRF's Gore Corps and AU10 tore down the NE corner barricades, and held them open long enough for the massive horde of LUE to enter. There are 120+ zombies in the NE corner, and it is no longer safe for Blackmore fighters or mall rats.

Two hours after the start of the strike there are approximately 200 zombies in Nichols. With 200 additional zombies just north at Blackmore the fate of Nichols is ensured. The days of the living in Central Malton are numbered.--DonTickles 03:06, 28 June 2007 (BST)

June 12, 2007
The zombies have given up on attacking the stronghold of Nichols Mall. On the other hand, Blackmore was retaken by survivors and 114 of them are now laying siege to Blackmore.

June 7, 2007
The RRF has definetely not given up, as over 90 zombies have started to assault the North East corner. Good news is that over 350 survivors have rallied to the mall, and 111 are sleeping in the North East corner. --User:Casthewiz.

Sorry, but that's not the RRF. Sure there may be a few in the group outside just looking for some easy bra!nz, but the RRF is officially not sieging Nichols. Sure a few days ago we saw 20 some humans in a corner and looked for a quick ransack, but it didn't happen that day and we moved on. But hey, enjoy your siege with those ferals, I hope you have a good time and all. We'll let you know if we decide to siege it for real. --DonTickles 22:58, 7 June 2007 (BST)

June 6, 2007
It seems that the RRF might give up hopes on attacking the mall. We severely outnumber them, and they completed their mission of taking Blackmore. Keep on fighting!

June 1, 2007
A headsup for all of you in the mall... the current zed activity is the beginning of a siege by the RRF. According to the "DoHS" thread on their public forum the reason is because they've gotten pissed off by the fact that survivors keep on trying to retake the Blackmore Building while the RRF is away... and then putting up little to no effective resistance when the RRF shows up to take Blackmore back.

May 8, 2007
The Revive points near the mall: Cake Walk and Turpin Road in Roftwood. Yeoman Park in Stanbury Village and St Theodore's Church in Ridleybank all have very small, well managed queues. The Mall is EHB with very few zeds present. Hunters are ranging out from the mall to gank Zeds in the neighboring area.

May 7th 2007

  • After 3 weeks of fighting, the Spring '07 siege of Nichols ends in a survivor victory. Only scattered feral zombies remain around the mall and the surrounding area, as survivors celebrate within. --Preasure 17:44, 7 May 2007 (BST)

April 27th 2007
Over 2 weeks into the siege, around 100 zombies are still attacking the NW corner of the mall. Breakins are quickly dealt with, revive lines are short to non-existant. --Preasure 21:26, 27 April 2007 (BST)

April 13th 2007
There are ~90 zombies and ~60 bodies outside the SW corner of the Mall. 90 alive people inside. Lights and radio are on.-- USSR member, 13:18.

  • Mall is under attack. We need all survivors, who can hold a weapon in hands! -- USSR member, 17:17.

March 28th 2007
Fewer than 30 zeds here. --Oktoberfest 15:52, 28 March 2007 (GMT)

March 17 2007
All survivors have been driven out of Nichols, but not without a fight. Well over 100 dead bodies were seen at one point outside the mall alone, with several hundred more inside. Someone sprayed on a wall in the southwest corner: "We'll be back, you zed bastards!" Around 293 zombies are currently inside the mall, and another 200 or so are outside. Adam Readman 18:02, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

Nichols Mall has been completely overrun. Over 300 zombies are sat inside, wiping their mouths & rubbing their full bellies. bbbbBBEEEELLLLLCHHHHhhhh!!! --Zombiegod 16:22, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Around 200 zombies throughout the mall. The SW corner has been ransacked and the humans eaten. Survivors stand in the other corners, but they will be eaten soon. All humans are urged to evacuate and regroup. --BeavisSaves 06:52, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Breaking News The once proud survivor bastion of Nichols mall teeters on the brink of liberation. Only 22 breathers stand between the fun loving living impaired Mall Tourists and the RANZAG!! If you're sleeping in Nichols Mall tonight, odds are you're waking up in a pile of bodies tomorrow.
Zambahz gah ranzag. BARHAH! --Mold 06:12, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
UPDATE: Over 150 zombies inside the SW corner of the Mall. Buh-Bye Nichols! ;D --Heiki 04:06, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
100+ zambahs, 56 hambargarz left in the SW corner. The harmanz are fighting valiantly, but it's looking like it will be in vain.--MmmBrainsss 02:47, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
80 Zambahs, 80 Harmanz. SW corner. --Electrasol 01:07, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
SW corner has 0 barricades, nearly 80+ zombies inside, and around 90 survivors inside the SW corner, you put up a valiant fight, but I doubt this does last any much longer,to those of you fighting to the death, May god be with you..--Killjoy2 00:51, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Survivors 90, Zombies 76 in the pivotal SW corner. Now would be a good time to panic and employ some "river tactics". (Scream, run, repeat as needed)
66 Zombies battling with the 97 survivors in the SW corner, reports are coming in that the SE corner is even less well defended. Rumours of survivor flight and panic are circulating. Nichols enters its darkest hour. A member of the Mall Tour '07 gave a deeply moving and inspirational speech to the brave, but mindless zombies as they charged into the breach. It went something like this. Grah, harmanz ram!! The mass of the walking dead responded with a cry of Barhah!! There were scattered reports of zombies crying, but that could have just been puss. --Electrasol 00:02, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Status: there are 55 zeds inside the mall. R.I.P. Nichols. Survivors are advised to either flee the suburb or fight to the death, mall tour will probably be around till monday.

March 16 2007
Status: Assaults have also begun on the SE corner survivors need to distribute themselves according.

Update The undead meet their Thermopylae. A fierceless crew of defenders with high morale and discipline keep the cades high and the horde at bay. When will Xyu opt to send his roving band to besiege all four corners in equal numbers and increase his chances for overwhelming the Spartan heroes?

March 15 2007
Status: est. 15 zeds in SW corner, 'cades are falling and 375+ zeds outside. --BeavisSaves 16:57, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

Around 9:00 p.m. (est) a group called Team Ocean made a heroic speech in all 4 quadrants. It is unknown exactly why someone would waste 2 AP 4 times just to speak, but the speech added to the Roleplaying aspect of the game. Although the exact words are unknown it is believed that the speech was taken from Lord of The Rings: Return of The King when Aragorn talks to his men in front of the Black Gate. - Roinator
Breakins continue. There are periods of intense fighting, 360 zombies outside hammering on the barricades, 125 survivors in the besieged corner. Barricades still going up and down.
'You must win here or all is lost in Malton for survivors.'
After two breakins within the hour repelled and reduced to one zombie out of twenty the mall still holds. Losses are mounting though, I suggest a temporary revive point next to the mall as a way to quickly recoup our dead. we need everyone we can now! -Officer Kain
Moderate to small breakins continue nearly 300 zombies besiege the mall, with at least 120 defenders in the SE corner facing down the horde, barricades going up and down fast. This one is shaping up to be a very fierce fight Zambahs and gentlebreathers.--Electrasol 00:34, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
Over 250 zombies outside of the southwest corner. 2 zombies still alive inside the mall but not for long. Still lit and things don't look terrible but we need more survivors to hold. -Officer Kain
Anstruther Alley (59, 54) is currently overrun with rotters. For revives please go to Yeoman Park (58, 55) or Maxwell Walk (56, 54) - Benigno 23:30, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

March 14 2007
Up to 10 Zeds were inside Nichols Mall, having broken in through SW corner. None of them left at 15:00 GMT

Over a hundred of the living dead stand swaying outside the mall groaning and chanting Barhah! Occasionally a screaming human is drug out of the mall and thrown to the crowd of feinds. Truly this is a terrible sight to behold. (106 outside, there's been at least one break in, the lights are on.)--Electrasol 01:35, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Hope you survivors here are ready because the Mall Tour '07 wikipage states that you're their next target. Good luck! about 98 zombies out side southwest--Nucleon 21:06, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
-If the mall falls I remind everyone that to escape they have to flee the suburb entirely as the zombies are purging resource buildings and known hideouts after each engagement now. Good Luck from me as well. -Officer Kain

March 12th 2007
There is a breakin at the SE corner. 'Cades are up and holding (for now), but there are still at least 14 zombies inside the Mall. --Specialist290? 21:53, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

March 8th 2007
Mall Tour '07 is tearing through the city's shopping centers. Nichols has a high enough profile that we might be able to actually stick it out for a while here. Take advantage of the advance warning and get ready, survivors. --HereticSoul 03:10, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

March 6th 2007
Mall Tour '07 will be arriving in the area soon, most likely at Tynte Mall, and then here. Nichols Mall defenders and associated groups should be preparing for the upcoming siege. --Sexy Rexy Grossman 18:00, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

March 5th 2007
Minor breakin earlier today, only 2 zombies.Otherwise, nothing much is happening.--Killjoy2 00:19, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

January 25th 2007
10:15 EST. 93 bodies piled outside SE corner and no undead in sight!

January 23th 2007
S-E corner has about 40-50 ZDs standing, and 140 dead bodies on the ground. Short-time breaches are constant, but looks like barricades are being risen quickly.

January 14th 2007
The mall is finally rebuilding, but the area around it is still under moderate siege.

January 8th 2007

Nichols.PNG

Human presence at Nichols is eliminated by the zombies of the Ridleybank Resistance Front; the building is ransacked and under RRF occupation.

January 7th 2007
The survivors in the Mall are in serious trouble. I say we have less then 2 days before the entire mall is ransacked and it's Survivors turned into the dead. - 150+ zombies

January 4th 2007
Mall went from survivors to zombies and back few times last week, but thanks to the help from the USSR the mall is in survivors' hands.

2006

December 31st 2006
Survivor presence is growing in the mall, however zombies are breaching several corners. It can go either way at this point.

December 30th 2006
The mall is clear and survivors are slowly flowing in.

December 27th 2006
Survivors sleeping inside the mall with the SE corner powered, some local survivor presence. If you up for a fight over new year, nichols mall is the place to be.

December 26th 2006
The mall is clear of zombies and cades have been erected in all corners. Survivor presence in minimal (and at some times nonexistant). Head here for a sure fight.

December 22nd 2006
Several survivors have made efforts to re-claim the mall, cades are intermittent but zombie activity isnt excessive. Meet the amazing rockby quickfoot and make your own name at nichols mall, just remember: stay classy.

December 11th 2006
Mall if full of zachs, suvivors should head elsewhere.

December 4th 2006
Mall's status in contention at the moment...barricades breached. Some particularily clever, smart, and upwardly mobile Zeds inside feasting on sweet, juicy, and moist harmanz brainzzzzz!

November 23 The mall is now overrun with zombies in every corner, no survivers left and a spray on the wall reads Get the hell out of here!!! Addition: There are now over 160 zeds inside.

November 22 Warning! Security breach! NE corner was under heavy attack by zeds and got break in. Cade is still under constant attack, with 28 zeds inside the mall.

November 14th The mall is secure again, but with only a handful of people inside. --BlueSTARS 02:34, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

October 29 After a brief renaissance in survivor hands, Nichols Mall has once again fallen, this time to the RRF and its strike teams. No survivors remain within the mall, only zombies.

October 26 With the mall tentatively back in survivor hands the call goes out to anyone who wants to help get central malton back to the good old days when stanbury was light yellow. please move into the mall or the warehouse just north of them. The malton rangers and other groups from the NMC are currently moving to the area, and they need your help!

October 13 Nichols Mall has now been completely overrun with zombies. The Shacknews zombie horde and several other groups are claiming responsibility for the siege, shuffling their feet in an apparent 'traditional zombie dance.'

October 12 Unaffiliated survivors are still leaving Nichols Mall in large numbers. We at the Channel 4 News Team and Blackmore Bastard Brigade have taken it upon ourselves to keep Nichols and 30 people from Blackmore- a mere 30 people- have cleared the Mall of zombies. The 40 that got into the mall as well as the 80 that are currently occupying the mall's NecroTech should be back soon. If unaffiliated survivors stand and fight, survivors will hold Nichols Mall. It's just a question of our resolve. --Ron Burgundy 17:53, 12 October 2006 (BST)

October 11 A sudden and massive assault breaks into the mall and causes serious carnage. Victorious zombies from several factions set up camp amidst the sundered limbs and gnawed viscera of the thoroughly ransacked north east corner while other zombies chew on the snoozing survivors located in other corners.

Nichols mall teeters on joining the neighbouring Hildebrand Mall as another zombie haven, and the fate of the Blackmore Building (which had previously been mounting a lasting and stalwart defence against a huge undead horde) looks dubious as valuable resources are cut.Tynte Mall to the north east also starts to come under heavy attack, and this seems to be part of a coordinated effort to cut off bargain hunting survivors from ammunition, first aid kits, generators and other essentials.

The situation is, however, not as bad as it seems. Simply taking a step outside Nichols Mall shows that there are a mere 10 zombies there. The zombies who struck are so coordinated that they got all their strength in through the doors at the same time. There are 40 coordinated zombies in Nichols Mall and there are 40 coordinated zombies in Stanbury Village. The 200 or so survivors in Nichols Mall simply need to kill the 40 that got in and then even themselves out so that the zombies can't retake the place as easily. This is not sufficient reason to evacuate.

September 27 Nichols Mall has become the primary resource point for the BBB in their Battle of Blackmore. At the beginning of the battle, the mall was merely an organized addition to the already abundant resources in Ridleybank, but as survivors begin to concentrate on the pure defense of the Blackmore Building, Nichols Mall has become paramount to the BBB's success in Ridleybank.

September 11 11-S: In memoriam Tower 1 - Tower 2
September 11 PKer groups, including PH in particular, staged an invasion of Nichols Mall and killed some 300 survivors in the space of a few minutes. The mall is now under zombie control. The mall is under survivor control, but unsafe due to continuing PK activity. // (added 9-12) Some reports say that the earlier estimate of 300 (by me) was overstating. Casualties may be more along the lines of 50-120. Marginoferror 05:33, 13 September 2006 (BST)

September 1 --The zombies came back in form of 40-80 zombies and have been quickly dealt with.

August 19 -- The zombies have left the building! (And the area, mostly.)

August 12 -- After a long time in zombie hands, the battle to retake the building begins.

July 18 -- The zombie numbers grew to 200+, plus 100+ corpses, all gathered in the NE corner. The mall is still in survivors hands, altough this is expected to change soon.

05:56, 18 July 2006 (BST) Update: as of 1200GMT there are around 40 zombies fighting it out with 40 survivors in the NE corner of the mall. The situation for survivors is looking grim. The mall has fallen. 60+ zeds breeched the NE corner. Update: as of 1620GMT the upper right corner has been ransacked with no survivors (in that section) and 90 zeds total in the mall. Update: as of 1920GMT the human presence in Nichols has been dragged, kicking and screaming, into the streets.

July 17 -- a group of 100+ zombies have congregated in the NE corner of the mall. There have been several break-ins, but at present the mall is still barricaded and defended.

June 25th 2006 There are no standing zombies outside Nichols. Survivors are beginning to secure the rest of the suburb. Stanbury Village is one of two outposts of Greater Ridleybank that is now embroiled in survivor-zombie battle; Barrville (Zomb. Barhahville) is the other.

June 24th 2006 Much of the Village is still unsafe for those without Free Running. Morale remains high at Nichols Mall, however, which is still safely in the hands of more than 130 survivors. Overnight, the horde outside the northwest corner has shrunk from 80 to 30 undead as ferals disperse across the suburb. It is not clear whether the siege is indeed over for good. Late update - the RRF have confirmed that they were not involved at Nichols.

June 18 -- The Mall is officialy in survivor hands and has been that way for several days. The survivors' grasp, however, is tenuous and efforts are underway to bring more survivors to the area.

May 30 -- The mall was up and running, well barricaded with a couple of working gennies, but it fell overnight. It seems the RRF has taken a liking to this part of town. Survivors are attempting to rebuild, however, I believe that there will just be more waves of zombie attacks.

April 18 -- The Mall has fallen.

April 17 -- Many zombies around the mall are being held out by a few survivors; without help it wont last long. The mall is EHB but without more people the zombies will get in. There are about 100+ zombies scattered around. Anyone in the surrounding area is requested for help!

February 24 -- The mall is a combat zone, frequently changing hands between zombies and survivors.

February 18th - The mall is still open and derelict. A handful of zombie mall clerks still offer red tags to dedicated human bargain hunters, but most of the zombie festivities have spread to the surrounding area.

January 3rd - Nichols Mall falls to the Pwotters and their allies. A concentrated assault on the Southwest corner and the elimination of NecroTech support buildings brings the zombies victory. Survivors retreat to plan a counterattack.

January 2nd, 2006 - ~350 zombies gathered outside the SW corner, with an unknown amount of corpses. The Went Building [59, 55], the nearest NecroTech building, has been overrun. More than 50 Zombies have been seen gathered inside. The survivors have been using Hunn Ave as a revive point.

2005

December 31st - As New Years Eve draws to a close, the mall is under human control but under siege once more by nearly 200 zombies. 191 to be precise, and 161 dead bodies in the Southwest corner alone.

December 8th - Groups such as the The Stanbury Renegades and the Bunney Street Police Department have returned to Stanbury Village to defend the Mall.

December 5th - Zombies attacked and breached the northwest corner of the mall but were immediately driven out. There have been no reports of survivor casualties.

December 3rd - The mall is in survivor hands. Rumors are circulating that The Ridleybank Resistance Front are returning in force from their failed siege at Caiger Mall. Survivor groups are beginning to fortify the mall as part of Operation Nichols Shield.

October 11th - In response to the takeover of Nichols Mall, a coalition of The Stanbury Renegades, the PA Rebel Alliance, and VGCats Survivalist Union troops have coordinated to plan a retaliatory strike. They have advised all survivors in the neighboring suburbs that they are encouraged to join and help fight.

October 10th - Nichols Mall is still firmly under zombie control.

October 7th, 2005 - The Ridleybank Resistance Front besieged Nichols Mall as retribution for the mall's role as a base of operations for hostilities into the neighboring suburb of Ridleybank. Within 24 hours, the northern half of the mall had collapsed under the assault. Within 48 hours, the entire mall and several surrounding buildings were firmly under zombie control.
