What is October Bash? OB2header.png
October is a time of year for celebration. People of German heritage (or people that just like to eat and drink German food and beverage) celebrate with the month long Oktoberfest. Russians know the month as Red October and all over the world, people celebrate Halloween.
Oktoberfest OB2header.png
Oktoberfest is a 16-day festival held each year in Munich, Germany, running from late September to early October. It is one of the most famous events in Germany and the world's largest fair, with some six million people attending every year.

People all over the world celebrate the festival, whether of German heritage or not. So then it's no surprise that Urban Dead players are celebrating it in style. With such a wide array of pubs in Malton, it's only natural that a Oktoberfest is celebrated in a glorious month long pub crawl. The crawl kicks off September 17th at The Mester Arms in Lukinswood. We hope to see you there.

Halloween OB2header.png
According to the old Celtic beliefs, Samhain was a day on which spirits (both harmful and benign) could enter our earthly realm from the ghostly Otherworld. The ghosts of family members were welcomed in homes but the harmful spirits were warded off through the use of masks, costumes and large carved turnips. These and other practices have spanned the centuries and today the holiday is a celebration of monsters, witches, ghouls, ghosts and devils.

With a zombie apocalypse as a backdrop, Halloween has been wildly celebrated each year in Malton. This year, we're bringing back the Death Rattle Battle. Other Halloween themed events will be announced so be sure to watch the Halloween page for updates.

Red October 2 OB2header.png
Marking the dawn of the Soviet Union in Russia, the October Revolution (known also as Red October) was an armed political coup and insurrection spearheaded by the soviet revolutionary group, the Bolsheviks in October 1917. The ensuing Russian Civil War lasted 5 years and many Russians died during the conflict.

October Bash recognizes this momentous occasion by organizing the return of the Red October manhunt event. The 1 month event pits two teams against one another for ultimate glory in battle.
