Every TRP and almost all non-descripts in Owsleybank are ruined, including: the NTs [1][2], Hospitals[3][4] and the suburb's sole Police Department[5]. Very Dangerous. --WanYao 05:24, 21 October 2008 (BST)

October 1st

At least 28 zombies on the streets, and 4 discovered inside ruined TRPs. (If there's a standard, then it's 2 zombies to each TRP, which would make for an estimated suburb total of around 40 zombies.) Breakdown of the Tactical Resource Points:

  • 2 NecroTechs: ruined.
  • 1 Police depts: ruined.
  • 2 hospitals: 1 without power, 1 ruined.
  • 2 factories: without power.
  • 4 auto repairs: 2 without power, 2 ruined.

Additionally, much of the suburb is in ruins. Dangerous. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 02:47, 1 October 2008 (BST)

September

September 11th

Numerous buildings in the western and central suburb are barricaded, although I was not able to check the status of resource points. The suburb is slowly being reclaimed, and it is safe for survivors to sleep here and help rebuild. Barricade levels are probably not in accordance with the Owsleybank barricade plan, but there are enough ruined buildings to allow free running into any safehouse. However only experienced players that have purchased free running and probably construction skills should sleep in the area (diagnosis and first would probably be useful as well), as most barricaded buildings do not allow entry from the street, and most of the other buildings are ruined and need repair. Be sure to bring lots of FAKs, weapons to clear zombies from buildings, and a toolbox to repair ruined buildings.

Some buildings are decaying and require extensive AP to be repaired, (going as high as 50 - 70 ap) and need some teamwork or a brave player to repair them. The Woodborne Building is currently open and supplying revives courtesy of Rotter's Relief members as well as from helpful citizens in the area. The status of other revive points is unknown. --BrainsTasty 18:23, 11 September 2008 (BST)

Most buildings are ruined, but the suburb is not crawling with zombies. There are some buildings that are barricaded, but numerous buildings have decayed and need almost 50 ap to repair. March

March 27th

There's a smattering of barricaded buildings in the northern half of the suburb. The few resource buildings I went in had zed inside and out. Zombie coverage outside buildings was light (<5 visible in each block). Very few survivors around. Ghost town or Very Dangerous, both are accurate. --Terry S 18:55, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

March 25th

Another pass confirms 99% ruins. The only surviving building is the junkyard at 9, 46, which is EHB at the time of this writing. ~40 zombies visible from the streets. Ghost town status. --Tempest56 00:27 GMT, 25 March 2008

March 16th

Howard and Jervis are both still ruined. No rebuilding effort was ever started. There are no significant safehouses. Ruggevale, the suburb's only police department, is also ruined. I don't know what Tempest56 was talking about, but there is nothing currently unruined in this suburb, and certainly nothing breathing. --Kingofallpie 18:37, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

And there is almost nothing undead around here either. Danger level changed to ghost town. The man 21:21, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
That is... unless there are large concentrations of zombies inside some buildings. The man 21:23, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
I'd say that there are more than 60 total zombies in the burb, though. It's still Very Dangerous. --Kingofallpie 19:34, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

March 15th

Both NTs and the Aloysuis Hospital are ruined, as well as both of the Auto Repair buildings that I saw (Dobin and Waller). This is a Very Dangerous suburb. --Kingofallpie 02:31, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

March 14th

There are some signs of life in the area. 75% of buildings are ruined, but there are a few live bastions. Local survivors seem to be concentrating on holding the auto repair shops, likely for the fuel so they can restore power. All three (Waller, Dobin and Jervis) are rebuilt, with numerous buildings around them. There's a narrow corridor being tenuously maintained between Dobin Auto and Jervis Auto, which includes Aloysuis Hospital. Waller Auto appears to be a critical bastion as well. Barricades are in varied but high condition, suggesting significant numbers of survivors. ~50 zombies spotted on the streets. Area should still be classified as seriously dangerous, but there are at least a few safehouses intact. --Tempest56 02:11 GMT, 14 March 2008

February

February 25th

Bad news, Pashenton lovers. There are 50, yes, 50 zombies according to the Necrotech scan I just made. Now, you might ask, "How did you manage that"? That's a trade secret, baby. Most of the buildings in the area have been destroyed, admittedly, but there are a handful that have been repaired. Unfortunately, as a result of the huge split in the suburb, it makes it difficult for the people on the Woolven side (me) to start work on the other side, to help people in the north, northeast, and eastern suburbs. We're doing what we can, but this will take a while. Next on my list, bring a police station online? And how will I do it? That's right. --Vandurn 20:06, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Very funny, you damn zeds. I'll be back. --Vandurn 13:42, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

Holy hell, I've survived for four (yes, count them!), FOUR days in Pashenton. Sleeping in a ruined building and blowing zombie brains across the suburb. For the time I suggest people keep at least 15 or so AP spare to run away from any zombies that you fail to kill. If they have the Scent Trail skill they'll hunt your ass down and call friends. Pashenton still looks very dangerous right now. -Lt Wood 14:52, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Ammendum to previous post: I've noticed a lot of BOW tags about, bragging how they rebuilt the suburb. I've also noticed that most of these structures were left unbarricaded, and there's no signs of a BOW presence at all. So they swept through, repaired the buildings and left. I'm now trying to keep a half-dozen or so newbie players alive, and any signs of another high-level player would be a great relief. Drop a note and a link to your profile on my User Discussion page if you want to lend a hand. I suspect the zombie players read these pages, as anytime I've dropped mention of my location I've been dragged outside and killed within 24 hours. Smelly bastards seem to have something against me... Lt Wood 15:55, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

February 24th

Is there any reason not to list Pashenton as a grey ghost town on the Suburb map? All of the buildings appear to be ruined with nobody home. Are there still even that many zambahz? --Ginormous 20:40, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

From what I can gather Pashenton is effectivly a ghost town, however no organized zombies live here either. Sources tell me that ruined buildings are occupiable, seeing as the few zeds that still prowl ignores the non-resource buildings that are ruined. However I don't currently reside in Pashenton myself, I just recently got back on my feet to be honest, so I can't confirm the number of zeds or the presence of any groups. As for survivor groups, none of the 'oh so vigilant' groups seem to be doing any effort in retaking Pashenton. Like last time the Bash turned the tide this way, DEM left the sinking ship to fend for itself. But well, Pashenton was strong enough to rebuild last time, and just because the Bash learned to ruin buildings we will not falter. --Senister 09:57, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Mhm. The vigilant groups will be back any day now. Hell, let's just keep it red for them until they come back, hm? And representitives of Zombra's Pub are there, I might add. So it's not technically a ghost town. Um um um. Well, let's just get everything up to snuff again until we start deciding whether or not everything's up to snuff. --Vandurn 13:33, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

February 17th

Well we all had fun didn't we? The survivors all banded together and for a time we had a nice, isolated community, albeit on the brink of destruction, but still a nice community. That is why I'd like to collate information on the fall of Pashenton. Remember, at one point we were all that remained. Please, send me some information about your experience on the fall of Pashenton. Also the Roughnecks are planning a return and we'd like it if anyone willing to help us resecure ol Fort Roughneck would swing by the Tynes Mall and drop a line. --Peter Red 05:05, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm currently awaiting a revive at Breddy Park in Pimbank. This has probably the farthest I've ever ventured out. In terms of the fall of Pashenton, it happened really quickly. The Bash has since moved on to Santlerville, but guessing by the numbers I saw passing through, it would have consisted of over 200 Zombies. Literally overnight the entire area surrounding the Reds' homebase was flattened; over the next 24 hours the zeds systematically ruined anything they could. When I stumbled out of Pashenton, moaning softly and hungering for braaanz, there was not a standing structure anywhere. Pashenton is for now, officially gone. It will take a huge effort to rebuild and secure anything fast enough to hold off the scattered dozens of zombies still in the suburb. -Lt Wood 07:20, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
Yeah. At the time of my death I was arranging myself to secure Seraphim. That was a mistake. Even heavily barricaded...damn they were quick. Tore me out of there in a hurry. I made by way west and have been travelling Southwest since. I'm currently in Shearbank working in a hospital, but I'm looking at the Northeast orange corridor. If we could have anyone in Pashenton tell me what my chances are if I go back, that would be dandy. I'll go back really soon. Oh yes. --Vandurn 15:36, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

February 14th

No. Everything is gone. Status report....nothing. Nothing exists anymore we totally got screwed over. Bigtime.Okay guys. We have to reclaim territory...if we can ever get revived.....not even Blaxall survived...Reds Roughnecks are dead...all of us...Bagehot's down. Blaxall's Down. Woolven's Down....everything's down. Dear God what were we thinking that we could get through it....My Go---My--My God...This will take time. But i'm staying and so is Reds Roughnecks. We can work together as a fighting suburb to fix Pashenton up. Let's do it fellas! --The Shogun 05:37, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Actually the Roughnecks are retreating for now. Once we get revived we'll come back, but until then orders are to scatter to a safer location --Peter Red 08:51, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Who's left to retreat? Ironically, I also had armloads of FAK's to help out; I'd barely raised a finger in assistance before my skull got chomped. The Zed-to-Survivor ratio in Malton sucks... Lt Wood 12:19, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
There are more survivors than zombies currently. They're just more organized and attack when we're not on half the time. I'm in Millen Hills. It rolled with it really well, almost all of its Necrotech buildings are online. I'm going to help out there for a while until things head southward a bit. Going back into Pashenton right now is really damn stupid. Even for me, ha. --Vandurn 00:43, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

Yeah I'm gonna have to agree with you there. There's absolutely no way to revive and live more than a an hour or so. I'm gonna go somewhere and lie low for a while because I think that massive green zone down the bottom will attract some attention for now. Then maybe we can catch a break...for once....--The Shogun 03:20, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

February 13th

Woolven building broken into, lots of dead. Zombie force was repelled but they just keep on coming. The suburb stands little chance surviving. I suggest anybody wishing to enter Pashenton does not. What we need is more soldiers and less liabilities. --Peter Red 08:06, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

February 10th

NecroWatch reported from the Woolven Building revealing that there were 63 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of note, there were 8 zombies at the Lance Building, 6 zombies at Perrot Cinema, and 5 zombies were detected at the Putt Building, the Carew Museum, and the Vicari Building over in Huntley Heights. The remaining zombies were scattered and of no immediate threat to any other survivor safehouses in the area. --Mobius187 14:55, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Pff. Geeze You Cult of the fallen God guys really think we're actually gonna be afraid of you!? We've been through more than you and we're certainly not gonna stop now! So it would be better if you just left the suburb or get your shitty parade rained on. I am annoyed just because you think you can stroll into the suburb and expect to be feared because you're a hostile group. No. Wrong. I could name a few guys who would gladly help me destroy everything you stand and fight for. --The Shogun 05:45, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Now now, I don't expect you to be afraid of me Shogun, seeing as you are not my enemy. I have never tried to hurt the civil population of Pashenton either, so I don't see why we are a Hostile Group. We wage a war against one enemy, always been so and always will. To answerer why I put our contact as The Egleton Building, it has always been our home, the very reason we fight even, the very reason 10 people turned against an invading force back in the days. We are fewer now, but neither our enemy nor the population will have us back down! I won't leave Pashenton for anything, not even if the population goes against us. Also now that we are at it, please refrain from making comments directed at my persona, I find that unnecessary when we can solve this in a polite manner instead of resorting to petty insults and threats. Thank you for your understanding --Senister 16:23, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Sorry about Shogun, but you have been killing some friends of ours, seemingly senselessly. Please, help us fight the real enemy, sort out you're differences later--Peter Red 05:48, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

No offence taken Peter, I just wanted a few things straightened out so people do not get the wrong idea. That aside, who might your friends be? I don't remember killing anyone but the invaders, are you sure it was I? I rarely commune with my fellow cultists at the moment however, I'll have to ask them if they have missed a target. If such an incident has happened, I apologize and hope for forgiveness. --Senister 15:17, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Yesterday, after several days of occupation in sheer defiance of the so-called Extinction Zone Effect, DHPD forces and their allies walked out of Jervis Auto Repair unharmed and loaded down with the fuel and toolboxes needed to restore survivor territory. The strike force's numbers continue to grow as it becomes better supplied with each and every raid. Morale is high, as Extinction and the feral community have thus far proven unable to counter the quick movements of the survivors. There is an unconfirmed report that St. Daniel's Hospital has been occupied by a small group of survivors, defending against the remnants of the zed army.--Jokimoto 2202EST

August 26th

Challes NT and the town's last remaining Hospital, St Seraphim's just over the border in Grigg Heights, have today succumbed to the extended Extinction assault. The brave defenders fought to the last and losses are feared to be heavy. Pockets of resistance remain however and many of the town's southern buildings remain barricaded for the moment. Residents are advised that the following days may be difficult indeed without an active NT or hospital as the zombie presence is increasing by the hour.--Zeug 16:01, 26 August 2007 (BST)

August 25th

Extinction zombie troops have entered the town from Molebank followed by an increasing number of ferals. Challes NT is currently under attack as is St Seraphim's Hospital and Ruggevale PD although Owsleybank defenses are holding. The north and west of the town remains largely ruined with both hospitals and Woodburne NT out of commission. With the recent annihilation of Molebank's NTs and the DHPD force at Burrell PD Owsleybank now joins south Molebank on the front line of defense for the DMZ.--Zeug 10:48, 25 August 2007 (BST)

August 21st

Drama Club staged a performance of "Army of Darkness" at Ellicott Place Railway Station as part of their Border Tour of Malton. The group is traveling clockwise around the border suburbs of Malton with one show in each suburb. Today they performed for the lone zombie outside the station as there was no one inside to see the show. See their group page for performing groups and schedules.

Aloysius General Hospital is under siege, but is currently being held by the Dunell Hills Police Department and unaffiliated survivors. -- Zecro August 2007 16:51:55 (GMT)

August 17th

The Woodbourne Building has fallen into ruin. This was not surprising, given recent changes in the game and the rather large number of red 'burbs to the north. However, as the Downey Building is not ruined (from the street), perhaps it'll be retaken soon. Will update on the state of the rest of the burb later this evening (as I go lurching hopefully to an RP). -- NeenerNeener 12:08, 17 August 2007 (CST)

August 5th

An ongoing battle is raging around Ruggevale Police Department. At one point a group of around 20 Zeds were either outside or inside the building. The INO and a few survivors, spearheaded by LiiraOceatania, Dinah Hunter, Zecro, Khala, and Bulldog C6 managed to reclaim the police department, which is still under seige. --Bulldog C6 18:14, 5 August 2007 (BST)

June

June 1st

After recouperating in the safehouses of the gracious Dunnell Hills Police Department, INO members are returning to Owsleybank. Ivan Chekov and Wintercrow were key in setting up safehouses and getting our HeadQuarters back into working order. Owsleybank is now safer then it was in May. Most of the zombies have vacated the area, giving The Independent Nation of Owsleybank time to rebuild. The PD and surrounding areas are now more heavily inhabbited and active. Owsleybank is becoming more and more safe as time goes on.

May

May 1st

After some four months, undead have grown exhausted over the lack of human food supplies coupled with last month's human take of Dunell Hills, and the few career zombies hanging out have also moved on. Suburb has finally been downgraded to yellow, and barely safe. The PD area is powered and lightly inhabited, while Rotter's Relief is operating around Woodborne NT. South OB is feral and wrecked as it has been since the outbreak; no one ever goes there anyway. Praise be to the Independent Nation of Owsleybank for remaining on the stats page for 14 months and staying around at the head of the Dunell Hills stronghold. All are welcome to clean up the area!--thegreathal read the Gazette! 19:38, 29 May 2007 (BST)

March

March 1st

Semi-frequent attacks have left the suburb empty as usual in the south, and infested, although not overrun, in the north. With Dunell Hills secure, supplies and humans are slowly spilling over to reclaim the Hospital, PD, and Molebank NT. Buildings are inhabited, but there are no resources as of yet. --Thegreathal 23:16, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

The Independent Nation of Owsleybank and Dunell Hills Police Department have been doing their best to maintain a stable suburb. There have been recent breakins at the Challes Building. Rotter's Relief is attempting to maintain a revive point for reformed rotters at the Woodborne Building. Saxony 19:38, 9 October 2006 (BST)

September

September 20th

A Disturbing trend of anti-DHPD graffiti has spread throughout Owsleybank. False statements such as " 'x' is for DHPD only" or "Join the DHPD or die" have appeared on many buildings recently. It is not known who is spraying this graffiti, but one thing is for sure, It is NOT DHPD personnel. Beyond this issue things look very good for Survivors in Owsleybank.

August

August 18th

Feral zombies continue to remove the human infestation within Owsleybank. Many coveted buildings have been sacked and routed. The muted screams of survivors can be heard echoing throughout the suburb as our zombie brethren drag these vile creatures from the safety of their lairs. Zombie are encouraged to come to this open air meat market, survivors are afraid to harm us lest we track them back to their fleshy air conditioned abodes where, in the middle of the night, we strip barricades like sinew from bone. August 17th

The DHPD issues the following release by blanketing the area with grafitti tickertape, direct mailings, and at least one helecopter flying overhead: There have been numerous issues brought to our attention and would like to address them now. First, ALL survivors are welcome in the DMZ and specifically Dunell Hills, graffiti that indicates otherwise is griefing from an unknown source. Second, officers of the DHPD do NOT kill other survivors without warrant, if you have been killed by someone claiming to be DHPD, please contact us with the profile and register with our Science department for a revive. Third, if we set up a precinct in a PD it is not an attempt to claim territory or displace an existing groups claim, rather the precinct chief is to act as an envoy so that we may assist survivors near said P.D. We will follow the guidelines of an existing group’s mandate, unless it directly conflicts with the majority of survivors in the area. We recognize that conflicts will arise but hope that they can be resolved without the need to open fire upon one another. Signed: DHPD Command Staff.

August 8th

A group is organizing to resecure vital resource buildings that have been ransacked by zeds. Secured buildings are increasing in number.

July

July 23th

Suburb seems to be under control by survivors. If there's zombies they come in one's and twos. People are invited for a party at the Woodard Building.

July 13th

Suburb overrun by zombies. Most of the resistance is dead, and revive points are not functional for lack of people to operate them. DHPD has pulled out to defend their suburb. Resistance is regrouping.

Correction: McNamara Drive Revive by the DHPD has been active since February. DHPD presence is alive and well. We look forward to having a good working relationship in "the Bank". --Saxony 17:35, 13 May 2006 (BST)

April 20th

Independent Nation of Owsleybank's permanent presence holds as only group standing in surrounding area. Operating phone bank and NT building HQ for several days. Suburb zombies have dispersed as to finish storm, but still rocky area. Almost all surroundings are infested or less than optimal, EH-barricaded, little other infrastructure to be found. DHPD tags and Shining tags remain. --thegreathal 10:24, 20 April 2006 (EST)

April 15th

DHPD has been routed and kicked out of the suburb. Feral zombies forced the DHPD to retreat to the warm comfort of Caiger Mall where it's members can lick their wounds and play policeman in complete safety. - Mutty Watters 19:38, 15 April 2006 (BST)

March

March 22nd

Ruggevale Walk Police Dept has been overrun by zeds.

March 13th

Fighting continues between the DHPD-RWP and a group of zeds. Aloysius General Hospital has been broken into and the Pankhurst Building is currently under attack, a revive point has been set up at McNamara drv. It is not known if these zeds are a horde of some sorts or just a bunch of ravaging ferals.
