Monroeville

pancakes! has sent a few intrepid missionaries into Monroeville to spread the good word of our benevolent Aunt Jemima. Let them ride forth on the wings of sweet cupcakes and enlighten all they may meet.

Refugees

After upsets in the game rules and zombies having learnt to block the barricading and door shutting of survivors, our fair Roftwood was sacked. Pancakes spent a couple of days lurking in Nichols Mall before returning to The Truell Museum, our fair home. Poker Alice here, still hanging out in Stansbury to help with the revive points. If you've got a free hand, head on over to help Fuzzy maintain Truell and fix up the place over there. Currently, Truell is at EHB with a couple of rather stubborn zeds outside still trying to keep our beloved Aunt Jemima down. Keep the wiki posted for any updates to the outlying buildings.

Motto

If you give a snail a cupcake...

Upon finding the The Truell Museum ransacked and abadoned in December 2006, our daring leader secured the building, and thus, with a secure base, Pancakes! was born. The idea belonged to our leader, but, after repeated attempts to be revivified, the intreprid Poker Alice decided this was a more than worthy venture to bring together the more free-spirited survivors of Malton with beer, food, drinks, and fun at ready demand. Shortly thereafter, Poker Alice began to chronicle the adventures for her savior, and fearless leader.

Location

Currently, Pancakes! is in hiding after a big zombie wipeout.

Barricade Policy

Pancakes! does not openly support a barricading policy, but Truell, when held, is to remain at EHB. It's a safehouse people, once we reclaim it, lets it keep it the fuck that way. While we do not openly support a barricading policy, Pancakes! is generally amiable to RAF policies regarding barricading.

February 2, 2008 - Truell has been retaken. 'Cades are at EHB for the moment. Try to keep 'em up. Watch who you revive! RRF rotters are backing up revive points in the area and keeping people who really want/need revives from getting them. RRF is basically lining up for headshots, so give 'em what they came for and show 'em the hell that is Aunt Jemima when you try to take her baked goods without asking! --Poker Alice 15:43, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

January 31, 2008 - Moving this down here to keep record of it. They keep trying to contact me about their shitty imagery. Fuck 'em. Just fuck 'em. "Pancakes! is declaring war on a certain douche bag, named Stand Alone Complex (http://urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=780535), and his lame ass "Hellfire club" for coming into our safehouse and PKing all of us.

Also, as a group at least halfway comprised of creative professionals, we would also like to state that the profile image on the aforementioned page is the most unfortunate use of photoshop we have ever seen. this atrocity offends aunt jemima, and must be eradicated."--Poker Alice 22:37, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

June 10th, 2007 - Thanks to those @ssholes, the Night Stalkers, we're all dead. What a bunch of jerks. I'm so happy I've spent the last few weeks doing good deeds by healing and reviving. --Poker Alice 13:00, 10 June 2007 (BST)

March 30th, 2007 - Well, Truell was holding pretty well for a bit. Some zombies got in overnight and i only had about 23 hp, so one was able to drag me out into the street to turn me into a smorgasborg for his friends. There are 6 zombies outside right now, but the cades seem to be holding between heavily and very heavily. I made my way over to Turpin Road, and I'll wait there for a revive so I can come back and help. If you need to find me, my profile is Fiduch. --Fiduch 18:55, 30 March 2007 (BST)

March 29th, 2007- Nevermind. I'm a zed again! Damnit! --Poker Alice 13:20, 29 March 2007 (BST) edit: I've got a syringe for you when you stand up, I'm in Truell with Fiduch and fuzz at the moment. --JohnPhys 14:10, 29 March 2007 (BST)

March 28th, 2007 - Attention ZEDS and members of Pancakes! This is Poker Alice here. I just got combat revived, and we need to do some serious regrouping. Please update below letting us know who you are, where you are, and what your status is. I'm currently hiding out in a PD for the moment. If you are a survivor, and still human, please disregard the information about safehouses and entrypoints. The information above does not reflect recent events in Roftwood. Hopefully, by the end of the week, we can start up the revive line and get everyone back to human!

So, anywho, after getting bored ransacking malls, I decided to make my way South to find a suburb with less of a "mrh-ing" zed population, in hopes of being revivified. In the end, I got revivified in combat and had to make my slow, ambling way back to Northern Roftwood (it's a hell of a lot easier to hike out there when you're a zed and in the open. It's a maze playing with free running to get home!). Now that I'm back, I retook Joyner Boulevard Police Department and upped the cades, but they're slowly falling! Help!!!--Poker Alice 00:36, 29 March 2007 (BST)

edit: i was revivified earlier today, but just stood up now, and i was still infected with no first aid kits on my person! i couldn't find any either, as the mall has been ransacked. so instead, i used my multitude of AP to retake truell and bring it back up to vsb++. unfortunately, since i was still infected, i'm at about 3 HP right now. Truell is retaken if we can hold it, and i desperately need a heal ASAP. anyone? PS - if you come visit truell, the zombie inside is pancakes!' founder, fuzz. don't kill her... unless she starts giving you love bites. then you have my full permission to head shot her into oblivion. :op --Fiduch 03:11, 29 March 2007 (BST)

March 27th, 2007 - Hildebrande fell in grand style, and i retreated to Tynte, which fell shortly after. I'm back to zombieness, and i don't have enough skills to make it any fun, so I'm just going to wait patiently at Turpin Road to be revived. Poker Alice, i see that you're back in the land of the living. Truell only has one zed outside of it, so it may be possible to retake it, and if you come revive me, i've got enough ammo to cover you for a while. --Fiduch 03:26, 28 March 2007 (BST) edit: I'm back in the land of the living as well, and near Truell with a host of syringes. Just need some rest to get enough AP. There seemed to be a few more zeds (along with the intrepid fuzz) inside of truell, at lesat one of which had brain rot, so they're not survivors just hanging out for revives.--JohnPhys 05:04, 28 March 2007 (BST)

March 20th, 2007 - Well, I got my revive, and am now holed up at Hildebrand along with JohnPhys, while fuzz and Poker Alice claw feebly at the barricades outside. If you're currently a zombie and want to live again to rejoin the resistance, post here with a link to your profile (so that I can add you to my contact list) and your location. I'll do my best to come revive you. Over and out. --Fiduch 02:41, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

March 19th, 2007 - fuzz and Poker Alice have both deserted the revive point at turpin, presumably to explore their new lease on death. But I'm still here! And here I will stay until I'm revived by somebody. If anyone has a revive point that they're closer to, let me know and I'll make my way there. --Fiduch 07:03, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

March 18th, 2007 - We seem to have avoided the majority of the Mall Tour '07 horde, but I have fallen prey due to a stupid move on my part. I ran over to Nichols to do some zombie damage just as my computer decided to restart to update itunes... and lo and behold, by the time I got back I was infected with 6 hp left. I ran for my life, only to find that blunden and greenhow had fallen and were no longer safe. In desperation, I used my last hp to fall onto Turpin Road, dead from my infection. In summation, can a brotha get a revive? Add me to your contact list so you can tell which one is me: Fiduch. Thanks in advance! --Fiduch 22:18, 18 March 2007 (UTC) edit: I saw a lot of my fellow pancakes! at turpin, and I have the revives to help, just not the AP yet. Aside from keeping Truell secure, reviving all of you will be the first thing I do. --JohnPhys 00:14, 19 March 2007 (UTC) edit: Well, I didn't have enough AP keep the cades up, and the zombies got in :\ --JohnPhys 03:51, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

March 5th, 2007 - Beware the filthy PKer, Angels Don't Kill who burst into Blunden Row School and decided kill people, shouting his war cry, "We love Columbine!" Kill on sight. Until then, I'm stuck as a zed lurking about outside of Truell. A little help would be nice.... anyone?--Poker Alice 04:14, 6 March 2007 (UTC) edit: Damn, I should have checked here before I played tonight. I have a syringe, and as soon as I'm able to I'll revive you, though someone will likely get to you before I can.--JohnPhys 03:34, 7 March 2007 (UTC) edit: Never mind, you seem to be alive and well! --JohnPhys 03:49, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

February 24th, 2007 - Well, we got our radio (just to leave no loose ends in the wiki), but Little Jimmy Osmond of The Osmond Family just came through and destroyed our generator. He hath brought down the wrath of pancakes!, and we should now consider him an official enemy, and an all-around douchebag. I'll try to find a generator, since i have Shopping and Bargain Hunting.--Fiduch 20:12, 24 February 2007 (UTC) edit: Well, that was easy. I found a generator quickly and refueled it, but keep an eye out for Little Jimmy Osmond, and offer free beatdowns if you find him. --Fiduch 20:22, 24 February 2007 (UTC) Will do! --Poker Alice 23:06, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

January 22, 2007 - Radio frequencies across the board have shifted as the entire UD database has shifted. The original radio frequency was claimed before I could argue otherwise, so I snatched 28.90 for us as the official Pancakes! radio station for us... but we still need a radio? I'll go rifling through the stores tomorrow night.--Poker Alice 03:57, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

January 19, 2007 - zombie hordes pouring through roftwood. stay alert, and don't let the cades fall. we need at least two people in truell at all times. Sorry- I wandered away to help the other local groups deal with the two, newb asshats who decided to take over an entrypoint (Blunden Row School) and kill anyone who went through.... who also appear to be one person multiplaying. --Poker Alice 14:09, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

January 16, 2007 - Truell Museum secure at EHB. Thanks to everyone who took care of business while I (Poker Alice) was devouring brains. Membership is at an all time high and welcome to all members. Managed to snag some first aid kits, and I need XP. So, if you need a heal, come and ask.

January 13, 2007 - building is secure at vs++.

January 12, 2007 - one zed now, at 22hp last i checked. building should be secured tonight. alice, tell me where you are and i'll revive you. i have enough xp for those two skills, now. i want to revive before i die in case i'm dead a while.

January 11, 2007 - i left for one day and came back and the building is ransacked and filled with 13 zombies. someone's gotta hold down the fort!

January 9, 2007 - the Quartly Study Group has requested a member to visit the Quartly Library to become a representative on the discussion page.

January 8, 2007 - fuck [Isambard Curio] for killing the generator and transmitter. also, huge horde moving through roftwood. keep cades high! --If people would stop fucking killing me and let me just get revived and be a happy little human again, I could give you another genny- and I think I have another radio, too. I am now a corpse outside the Museum. Lemme know when anyone gets another one of those revivify thingies! --Poker Alice 15:21, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

January 7, 2007 - Zombie hordes have overrun the Joyner Blvd Police department to our south. Remember to keep the 'cades high, lest we share the same fate as the survivors there. Pancakes! has taken the mission to resecure the building, and called for backups. building has been secured and brough back to vsb++

some updates over on Roftwood. We need to keep a list of all the pages we're listed on, maybe on the talk page?

January 1, 2007 - Happy New Year from Pancakes! Illness has hunkered down a couple of our members- but the valiant Poker Alice made headway trying to help out the RAF and the USSR maintain security and reclaim Witherington Auto Repair for the human race! (while admittedly avoiding the zombie hoards that had overtaken Grimshaw Road Police Department).

December 30,2006 - pancakes! welcomes wausaupaul to our ranks. good luck in the wild, we'll see you next when you get free running!

December 29, 2006 - Truell is back up to EHB!!! Woohoo! Cheers! LEAVE RADIO TUNED TO 28.71 OR RETURN IT TO THE DEDICATED PANCAKES! RADIO FREQUENCY WHEN YOU USE THE RADIO..... please? As a politeness to your hosts, Pancakes! in the Truell Museum.

December 28, 2006 - Truell is secured thanks to Wildcat who ran out the zeds and brought us back to vs. the cades are currently at vh+. Wildcat is now an official friend of pancakes!, treat him to cupcakes! -- fuzz 21:58, 28 December 2006 (UTC) Also, special thanks to Ronald'McDonald who gave first aid to Pancakes! members! --Poker Alice 22:57, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

Four zeds in Truell. I dropped two more dead bodies outside. Stocking up on ammo for tonight. I'll need as much ap to rebuild the baracade as I can get, someone else will need to do a majority of the killing (which, bonus!, more xp for you) If the zombies can be cleared out and the building's doors shut, i can have us back up to eh++ in no time.

December 27, 2006 - We're dead. Very Dead. Fuzzy- where's the nearest revive point? Turpin road. two north, one west. the horde went through after 8am because that's when i was last logged in. i'm awaiting a revive. will secure building as soon as possible

December 27, 2006 - USSR members issued an apology. Boulevard Police has been raided early this morning, with two zeds remaining in the building at the time of this posting. Please update if the station gets cleared and good luck to anyone fighting the good fight!

December 26, 2006 - pancakes! now has an official radio station, at 28.71. The transmitter is located in the Truell museum. Join us on Saturday mornings for "post hangover coffee", a talk show to bemoan the terrible decisions made the previous evening!

December 26, 2006 - Rumor has linked the generator destruction to a USSR member. It is curious to note, however, that, under the USSR's rules and regulations, specifically listed under their pages..

'Prohibited:

  • 1. Destruction of the barricades (except for lowering their levels to VS on the official Entry Points).
  • 2. Destruction of the generators and radio transmitters

... and...

  • 4. Attacking survivors, independently of your status (zombie or survivor) (see Note 2)

Please remind any USSR members of these rules by their own group should they continue to bother any refugees in the Truell Museum. We have a new generator, but this doesn't mean anyone can keep coming in and wrecking up the place that we (and by we, I mean fuzz) secured as a shared safehouse for all.

Speaking of safehouses- the factory at [63,55] is back to its appropriate barricading level as an entrypoint. Please feel free to traffic through there to reach both the police departments and the Truell Museum. However, should the entrypoint's barricading level be upped again, do keep the Wrench Hotel in your mind as a second option and send AP accordingly.

On a hunting note- a small group of 3 zombies, as well as several bodies were spotted two blocks South of the Museum. To s/he/they who did the initial hunting- good on you! To everyone else- happy hunting if you plan to head after that mob..... which brings me to the end of the longest update ever.

December 26, 2006 - Someone killed the generator in the night. Darn.

December 25, 2006 - Merry Christmas everyone! Poker Alice managed to find a radio transmitter and set it up to broadcast! For your listening delight, we present "Mele Kalikimaka" (the Hawaiian Christmas song) for your viewing enjoyment on 28.88 - Pancake Pirate Radio! Please feel free to broadcast other Chrimmas-type songs and relevant updates!

December 25, 2006 - Barricade enforcement in effect by the RAF, it seems. Joyner Boulevard Police Department entrypoint at [63, 55] is currently Extremely Heavily Barricaded! Current entrypoint at The Wrench Hotel at [64,56]. Don't get caught out in the cold, zombie ridden streets this holiday! Know your entrypoints' states of barricading and pop on in to the Truell Museum for a beer! Cheers!

December 24, 2006 - The official stance of pancakes! is to kill Pkers on sight. Don't be a douche and Pk in our building. Also, the generator is running with plenty of fuel, and we have a plastic xmas tree! Yay! Beer and pretzels at our place!

December 23, 2006 - Barricade enforcement by the RAF currently in effect. Access to the Truell Museum and outlying buildings can only be granted by using RAF access pointed at Blunden Row School [61,50] or a factory [63,55]. However, even with this barricade policy enforcement, a lone zombie was spotted at the Joyner Boulevard Police Department. Excerise extreme caution, eliminate zombies at all costs, and be sure to dump the bodies outside. Please also update if a barricade failure has occurred.

December 22, 2006 - Outside communication attempts begun as Wikipage is created! Woohoo! We're official now! *happy little dance* Merry Christmas, fearless leader!
