Description

Parrott Towers is a phone tower located in the suburb of Dulston. This tall building has a mobile phone mast rising out from the roof and is one of the suburb's key landmarks. When the building is powered, it enables mobile phone service within the entire suburb of Dulston, as well as to other suburbs with working mobile phone masts.

Survivors as encouraged to refuel Parrott Towers' generator or replace it when destroyed. Inexperienced survivors should be aware that Portable Generators can be located inside Factories, Fire Stations, Power Stations, and Mall Hardware Stores. Fuel Cans are located in Auto Repair Shops, Factories, Warehouses, car parks, Power Stations, and Junkyards. A warehouse (92,3) northwest of Parrott Towers is therefore a prime location to find new fuel sources for the generator.

In beginning of April 2009 tower became a radio station for USSR during operation "At World's End". It was usually on 26,17 Mhz, but sometimes used in local frequency. Freakazoit was the radio operator and while he didn't remember what he was transmitting at the time, but whatever it was it attracted all zombies in the area. The zombies broke inside and crushed everything, and everyone, inside building. Defending the radio tower was useless because around 100 zombies had gathered inside. On the 5th, or maybe the 6th, of April the radio went silent. After that, zombies rampaged throughout Dulston.

Barricade Policy

According to the Dulston Optimal Defense Diagram, Parrott Towers is to be Extremely Heavily barricaded at all times in order to protect the portable generator from being tampered with. Should mobile phone services within the suburb cease survivors are asked to check on the building and confirm whether the portable generator is still intact or has simply has run out of fuel.

Note that the Dulston Optimal Defense Diagram is a strategic barricade policy that is enforced by all member groups of the Dulston Alliance.

February 20th - The mobile phone mast Parrott Towers is lightly guarded by the zombie force... if at all. FOXHOUND is currently setting up plans to retake the Mast and put it back online.

December 22nd, 2008 - Parrot Towers is safe and powered due to FOXHOUND efforts.

December 2nd, 2008 - Officer Murphy of Dead vs Blue reported that he had cleared the building, repaired the damages, and barricaded the building.

Update: The bad news: Parrott Towers was reported to have fallen to the zombie horde. The good news: Serial killer and wanted fugitive Obmi was dragged out into the streets and devoured. While the Dulston Alliance depises zombies, the Alliance does like it when they work in our favor. Regardless, the building was ruined.

August 31st, 2008 - After the zombie horde has attacked Dulston systematically from Northeast downwards, the mob reached Parrott Towers. Home of the mighty FOXHOUND was breached and now lies in ruins. -- Kittithaj 17:01, 31 August 2008 (BST)

Update: In a stunning turn-around, N00bert, Second-in-Command of FOXHOUND, single-handidly recaptured their group HQ almost at the cost of his own life. No exact figures were given as to how many zombies he killed, but it's believed to have numbered in the hundreds... yeah... hundreds. When asked what his battle plan was N00bert responded, "F**k them up and take back MY S**T."
Update: With so many hundreds of zombies, uh, "killed" earlier by N00bert it should come as no surprise that two zombies managed to break back inside and kill him. N00bert has called on others to avenge his death, that or he'll come back and do it himself.

August 28th, 2008 - The building is heavily barricaded, but unpowered. There are no zombies outside, but they are creeping in from the northeast. FOXHOUND has issued a general alert, so all survivors staying at their HQ should keep their eyes peeled for zombie mobs. It's only a matter of time before the Militant Order of Barhah's forces arrive here.

February 27th, 2008 - Parrott is now operational due to FOXHOUND efforts. No threats outside... Looking pretty again. --N00bert F 20:05, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

February 21st, 2008 - Cell phones hiss static as the dust settles in the wreckage of the Parrott Towers, its equipment smashed and its guardians missing. Neither FOXHOUND nor the ELT has yet made any attempt to reclaim the phone mast... --Boris 19:54, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

April 28th, 2007 - Other than a recent failed attack on Parrott Towers from Dead Air everything is running very smoothly within the building and it continues to be protected by FOXHOUND.

January 30th, 2007 - In the heavily populated far northeastern reaches of Malton, Parrott Towers goes dark after an attack from the radio-hating zombies of Dead Air...
