All buildings are ruined except Wookey Towers on the northern border. There are zombies in many of the ruined buildings and singles or small groups scattered throughout the town. This perfectly matches the definition of Ghost Town "At least 2/3rds of the suburb's buildings either Empty of Survivors or Ransacked/Ruined AND having no zombie mobs of over 10 and no total zombies over 60". -- Grogh 01:59, 9 October 2008 (BST)

October 7th

Mostly ruined, maybe totally but I didn't see *every* building. No large mobs of zombies, but many small ones out- and in- side buildings. Not a single human to be found. -- Grogh 01:48, 8 October 2008 (BST)

Damn right it's not totally ruined, Club Veal was just repaired.--xoxo 01:52, 8 October 2008 (BST)

At least 44 zombies on the streets. Breakdown of the Tactical Resource Points:

  • 1 NecroTech: without power.
  • 2 Police depts: 1 powered (besieged by 11 zombies), 1 ruined.
  • 1 hospital: without power (besieged by 19 zombies).
  • 2 factories: 1 powered, 1 not.
  • 2 auto repairs: powered.

The northwest is in ruins. Given the zombie numbers (today's EMR stated around 60), the suburb remains in a high state of conflict, and Dangerous. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 18:03, 1 October 2008 (BST)

Barricades have fallen in Edmund Hospital, survivors are fleeing. There are scattered pockets of zombies across the suburb. A good deal of resource buildings are ransacked and surrounded by small-moderate sized zombie swarms. In my fleeing to the southeast I have found no fortified buildings or survivors.--NeoSlavic 23:45, 22 May 2008 (BST)

Components of the DEM are engaged in a low-intensity struggle with smaller numbers of surprisingly organized zombies. Barricades are going up but most buildings still lack power. Nearly all buildings ruined - only the Huxtable Building (8, 23) is still standing. Undead presence is lower than other area suburbs - ~35 zombies visible from the street. Survivor presence minimal. --Tempest56 18:38 GMT, 9 March 2008 Addition: By the time I doubled-back to the Huxtable Building to investigate the status of it further, it had been ruined. A thorough scout of Peddlesden Village revealed a suburb with only a few buildings barricaded, none of these with power and only one above QSB. The vast majority of blocks are ruined, including all the local NTs, Hospitals and PDs. The Minshull NT Building just across the border in Chudleytown is also ruined. While there are some signs of life -- including tagging by the DHPD who are certainly active, albeit discretely -- they are minimal. Zombie numbers, however, are also negligible: a few dozen at most, no large groups, mostly lonely shamblers and solitary "sentinels" inside some TRPs. Its been a bitter month of conflict in the Village. Zed numbers around Swinnerton at 18, and break ins daily. Swinnerton has now begun to fall on a semi daily basis. The zombie attackers are probably the local horde returning from their time at Caiger. Also there seems to be group of survivors who have barricaded themselves inside the local church revive point. Whether or not this is a problem remains to be seen. Bob Runslikehell

November

November 27th

Good News: Swinnerton is back up, and survivors are back inside, though nowhere near pre Third Siege of Caiger numbers. Survivors have taken positions throughout the burb. Zed numbers running smaller mobs then the last attack. Bad News: It is now nearly suisidal to make an attempt to leave this burb for greener and safer lands. The big red blocks of the nearby burbs also make a very real and prominent threat. --Bob Runslikehell

A disturbing trend of anti-DHPD graffiti has spread throughout Roywood. False statements such as " 'x' is for DHPD only" or "Join the DHPD or die" have appeared on many buildings recently. It is not known who is spraying this graffiti, but one thing is for sure, it is NOT DHPD personnel.

August

August 17th

The DHPD issues the following release by blanketing the area with grafitti tickertape, direct mailings, and at least one helecopter flying overhead: There have been numerous issues brought to our attention and would like to address them now. First, ALL survivors are welcome in the DMZ and specifically Dunell Hills, graffiti that indicates otherwise is griefing from an unknown source. Second, officers of the DHPD do NOT kill other survivors without warrant, if you have been killed by someone claiming to be DHPD, please contact us with the profile and register with our Science department for a revive. Third, if we set up a precinct in a PD it is not an attempt to claim territory or displace an existing groups claim, rather the precinct chief is to act as an envoy so that we may assist survivors near said P.D. We will follow the guidelines of an existing group’s mandate, unless it directly conflicts with the majority of survivors in the area. We recognize that conflicts will arise but hope that they can be resolved without the need to open fire upon one another. Signed: DHPD Command Staff.
