Labeling this suburb a ghost town is quite accurate. Nearly every building I have been to has been empty of survivors and ruined.

The place resembles a zombie apocalypse. ;)

NecroWatch Scouts reported in from The Wagland Building. The patrol reported 18 zombies outside within the patrol area. Of those numbers, 5 zombies were at a cemetery waiting for revives and 3 zombies each were at Nuttycombe Way School, Hooper Square Fire Station and Cosins Way Police Department. The remaining zombies were around alone. The report can be found here. -- -Alka Selzer- [ Talk - Map - Stuff 10:45, 10 May 2009 (BST)

April

April 9th

With the formation of the Perryn Liberation Army and several attempts by the before mentioned Army and several other factions trying to retake Fort Perryn the Feral Undead have run wild all over Pennville. (Seems they got all mad about the attacks against the Fort and the repeated barricading of the Guardhouse - who knew...)

There are currently several buildings under seige with most groups trying to bring down support buildings such as NT/Police Stations/Fire houses and the like.

I don't currently have any info about the status in the southern areas of the suburb but it was not in good shape the last time I was there on April 6th.

On the bright side the groups are small and don't seem to be overly coordinated and the lines are moving very well at revive points. As well I have not seen groups larger then 6-8 but there at least 6 of these small groups in the Northern areas.

--Bashar Roberto (ID:1353849)-- 12:47, 9 April 2009 (BST)

The suburb is safely in survivor hands with only scattered zombie groups about. All resource buildings appear secure and most are powered. A word of warning however, nearly all buildings are at EHB so make sure you have plenty of spare APs if you are looking to find a way in. MoyesT RPM 09:27, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Survivors are unable to reclaim this suburb. Many ferals dwelling on the streets and ruining buildings now and then, making this suburb a nsaty place to the living. Janjones 23:15, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

October

October 1st

At least 52 zombies on the streets, although 7 appear to be Mrh? cows. Breakdown of the Tactical Resource Points:

  • 6 Police depts: 4 powered, 1 not, 1 ruined.
  • 2 hospitals: 1 powered, 1 ruined.
  • 1 factory: not powered.
  • 1 auto repair: ruined.
  • Fort Perryn Vehicle Depot: not powered. (The rest of the fort is in Whittenside).

There is ruination in the northwest. Given the sheer number of zombies, this qualifies as Dangerous. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 18:54, 1 October 2008 (BST)

The reports that fort perryn has fallen are FALSE! roughly 23 zeds at the gate, along with 100 dead bodies. Fort perryn has roughly 250 survivors living together and defending against the relentless dead... Angusburger 18:47 (EST)

September 1st

Confirmed that Fort Perryn has fallen. The eastern Storehouse appears to be the only building still in Survivor control. As of 11:39 EST, there are 4 survivors there. Estimate about 20-40 zeds in the fort itself. The Gatehouse is open, free to walk in.... -Geohunter (in-game Geopanther)

The area around 81,81 - the whole far Northwest - crawls. We need teams to form up to clean out and power up the NT... some of these buildings are up to 9 APs to Repair Building Damage. July 15th -Indications of zombie presence increasing in northwest area, and heading to the southeast. -Multiple buildings especially police stations are overbarricaded, something should be done to allieviate individuals not following the barricade plan. -Remaining accessable safehouses are starting to be targeted, increasing difficulty finding safehouses in the area. -Situation is not ciritcal yet, however, it is advised that action be taken to curb the above issues. Pennville is in solid shape again, and changed to very safe status. The RPM has worked hard to secure the suburb. Power on in most if not all resource buildings, including non-resource as well. Alot of heavy drinking has gone on due to the successful upkeep that people are passing out drunk safely right in the streets. There are wandering groups of 10+ zombies near the fort. The area should be considered dangerous, and survivors should not approach unless they've got an escape plan - and lots of firepower. • 8 August 2007: Almost all buidings in areas around the cemetary are at EHB and newly revived survivors, unable to find a safehouse, fall prey to zeds again. Is anyone looking after this area? Due to the high numbers of survivors getting revived and immediately dying, revives are very hard to come by. --Indraroop 09:30, 8 August 2007 (BST)

    • 22 July 2007: on the west side everything is overbarricaded. no wonder there are so many waiting for a revive!! is anyone looking after this area? --WanYao 20:30, 22 July 2007 (BST)
    • 17th July, 2007: Not so good in Southern part. Anyone with needles is welcome South side. Cemetery (85,86) and (87,89)(just in N Whittenside) have a waiting list of 14 and 29! respectively. Could use the help.
    • 15th July, 2007: Things are looking safe in the northern parrt.
    • 9th July 2007: The Fort has fallen currently no known survivors and a few dozen undead occupy the former military base.
    • 7th July 2007: The Fort isbeing attack by about 80 zombies but no more than 50 survivors are guarding the gatehouse. Seems like more reinforcements are needed.

  • May 2007
    • 12th May 2007: All is not lost! Despite the red indicator hanging over Pennville, most buildings in the NE and NW of the suburb are safe. Resource buildings are secured and powered. This suburb is still very much alive and kicking! MoyesT RPM 17:26, 12 May 2007 (BST)
    • 7th May 2007: That's it. Our base at Remfry Bank was taken out today. I also checked many other buildings around, but couldn't find more than couple alive survivors without nearly any barricades. Recommended action would be to get zombified and then go muching up north. --Niilomaan GRR!M! 19:55, 7 May 2007 (BST)
    • 1st May 2007: Hello there, fellow RPM-ers. the secret hangout in the Tompson building (one square into scarlet) is all broken, and i'm a tad zombified. just noting that a local NT or two has fallen. --Kaminogreg 06:29, 1 May 2007 (BST)

  • April, 2007
    • 29th April 2007: Corless Alley PD is also back in survivors' hands now. Centre part of Pennville is temporarily safe.
    • 26th April 2007: Just did a scouting of the southern PD's - all are ransacked. Reparied Cosins so it's available for ammo searches. No zombies outside as of 1500. Tiamare
    • 25th April 2007: Survivors are battling back against the invasion and although buildings continue to fall further south the earlier damage is being repaired. Revives continue and resource buildings are getting back to usefulness MoyesT RPM 10:52, 25 April 2007 (BST)
    • 23rd April 2007: The North West of Pennville is currently bearing the brunt of a large zombie mob. The RPM HQ at Grinter Cinema is overrun and several Zombies have been spotted flagrantly ignoring the 'Keep off the Grass' signs in Bellis Park. However, the RPM are still maintaining the Wasteland RP at (82,82) - revives are just taking a little longer. MoyesT RPM 08:48, 23 April 2007 (BST)
    • 20th April, 2007: The zombies have started attacking the suburb after they've taken over Blesley Mall. Survivors, pack up ammo, and get ready for battle. More revive points should be opened to maintain combat force.
    • 12th April, 2007: Zombie horde starting major attacks. Cruwys Auto Repair, Corless Alley Police Department, Durnford Towers under siege. Suggested to turn lights off to reduce attention.

  • March 2007
    • March 21st, 2007: Resource buildings are severely overbarricaded, most of them at EHB. There are more survivors forced to camp on the streets than there are zombies outside. If something isn't done soon to reduce barricade levels, this might change quickly though.
    • March 13th, 2007: Zombie hordes are growing. Zombies start moving north trying to take control of the whole suburb.
    • March 8th, 2007: Methidous General Hospital has taken back and barricaded to EHB also same at voizey police station. Only Malcolm's NT is under siege at this moment, 1 zed inside and barricades QS. --Mosqu GCM GRR! 19:07, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

    • March 6th, 2007: This suburb feels strange to me, maybe because of Fort Perryn. Like the suburb is invincible. It isn't a good feeling for a zed. Good job, though.
      • Eight Zeds left at cemetery waiting revival. A number decent sized (5-10 zeds) zombie groups around that revival point.
    • March 3rd, 2007: Methodius Hospital taken back. A few survivors inside and a few zombies trying to break the building down.
  • February 2007
    • February 28th, 2007: Zombies move a little West. Methodius Hospital and Voizey Drive Police both have zombie groups of ~10. 23:50 (UTC)
    • February 27th, 2007: Zombies have been attacking more fiercely and have ransacked more buildings north of the fort. Churches down and police departments wrecked. Even non-TRBs being ransacked. Area no longer safe, unless survivors team up and wipe out the zombies.
    • February 23rd, 2007: Die Angriff-Maschine has fallen back to this suburb after the mass attacks in Danversbank and Whittenside. • February 22nd, 2007: Most of the police deptartments have been repaired and conditions seem safe for survivors. A group of survivors are planning to kill the zombies inside the fort and reinforce it.
    • February 13th, 2007: Police stations have been ransacked and hospitals being destroyed. More zombies on the streets and gunshots can be heard everywhere. A fierce combat has taken place.

  • January 2007
    • January 31th, 2007: A lot of feeding groans have been coming from police stations, resulting in more people to be added to the zombie hordes. The cemetary too is filled with bodies, due to a combination of inexperienced and experienced survivors killing everyone there, rather than reviving them.
    • January 8th, 2007: The Fort is to fall, the first stage has been implemented.

    • December 18th, 2006: Update the list of VSB+2 buildings please!!!! I just got stranded outside a supposed VSB+2 safehouse that was actually EHB. Newbies NEED this info to be correct. - HowardLovecraft
    • December 15th, 2006: I recommend that either the list of VSB+2 buildings be updated or that a bit of work be done to allow some entry points. Currently very few locations are not EHB and entry is difficult. -Dash
    • December 14th, 2006: I suggest that the danger level be lowered to green, I'm actually having a very hard time finding zeds to scan and revivify, or brain rotters to shotgun. • December 6th, 2006: Safehouses in southern half of suburb are plentiful, however getting in is problematic. Practically every building is fully barricaded. Few zombies noted. Survivors defending Fort Perryn seem to be doing well, though there were maybe 50 zombies just south into Whittenside. - Dawson Callaway III

  • October 2006
    • October 25th, 2006: Although I can't believe I'm writing this, Pennville is being attacked by Zombies in Fancy Dress. Yes, the Feral Undead Trick or Treat tour is currently hitting buildings at random. Priority targetting of Zombies with 'Feral Undead' in their profile is requested, especially if the Zombie in question also has a description of wearing a novelty costume! My sanity can't take being mauled by Hong Kong Phooey..... Moyes 09:08, 25 October 2006 (BST)
      • It's not random, its a methodical door-to-door designed to maximise the haul of candy flowing into our sacks, while visiting only the 'nice' houses that our mums allow us to. Will all the nasty BMC'ers please note that all apples will be made into applesauce, so no hiding razorblades inside! RobinXe 22:00, 25 October 2006 (BST)
    • October 23rd, 2006: Cousins Way Police station's barricade is down. There is a Zombie inside the Police Station. I closed the doors, but I was unable to kill the zombie. If you are within the Cousins Way police station and have construction, please use your skills!
    • October 22nd, 2006: Both Police Stations ( Corless Alley and Cousins Way ) that i live near have been barricaded to EHB +3 or more. There have been rising numbers of Zombies around the police stations, as well as the nearby buildings.
    • October 19th, 2006: Sporadic break-ins by Zombies (mostly the Feral Undead) continue, but the overall safety level of the suburb is high. The Reformed Pennville Militia is working alongside other groups to keep the area secure. Moyes 13:21, 19 October 2006 (BST)

  • August 2006
    • August 20th, 2006: Members of Game-Cavemen have managed to secure part of southern Pennville. There are now about 10 of us + few outside people. Least 5 building have been "permanently" least very strongly barricaded. We are asking more people to return to their homes. Also GRR! has some proof that there are zerging members in PFM, so you are adviced to leave the group or being killed over and over again. --Niilomaan GRR! 16:19, 20 August 2006 (BST)
    • August 18th, 2006: Actually it wasn't as horrible a defeat as it sounds. You had elements of the Bash, the RRF, and the usual resident Ferals all coming together through Penville. It's tough to hold off those kinds of numbers, and there were more than 40, trust me. Chante Tinza specializes in reconning Zed movements throughout Malton, and you had a LOT come through there. One of our operatives, Shunka Witka, was stationed in Penville at the time, and retreated NE once the inevitable became obvious....and the RRF and the Bash were huge by the time they got finished with Scarlet, Penville, Gulsondide, Miltown, and now Penny Heights and Fryerbank. You cant stop numbers that large, you only can do what you can and then get out of their way. -Tokala, Elder of Chante Tinza.
    • August 16th, 2006: It is sad to say that it took less than 40 zeds and 5 days to start and complete the fall of Pennville as well. I was at the fall of each of the PD's in turn, doing my best to help out the survivors, but to no avail. At the fall of Voizey PD the survivors had the zeds outnumbered over 3 to 1 to begin with, and still the survivors got clobbered. I think it is fair to say that this is more of a survivor failure than a zed success. Truly sad day for Pennville and a sad showing by the survivors.
    • August 15th, 2006: I'm sad to say that Pennville has been completely overrun. It was a beautiful dream while it lasted. --Brasswatchman 03:12, 16 August 2006 (BST)
    • August 14th, 2006: Pennville is overrun and almost completely ransacked. The Big Bash has done its job. The suburb is listed as Very Dangerous now. Never witnessed that before. Robin Robinson 07:05, 14 August 2006 (BST)
    • August 11th, 2006: Multiple mobs of 25+ zeds slowly working their way from the NW towards the south and east ravaging as they go. Danger level of the burb needs to be increased.
    • August 11th, 2006: Cummins Alley Police Dept overrun, Milton Walk Police Dept overrun, Remigius General Hospital overrun, Club Barling overrun, Boole Place Fire Station overrun, 7-12 other non-resource buildings overrun. 75+ zombies in NW section of this burb. The danger level of this burb needs to go up unless the survivors can rally soon.
    • August 8th, 2006: Rise... cannot make it far... five headshots... three days... survivors everywhere... lost... must flee... this place is a deathtrap...
    • August 5th, 2006: Cummins Alley Police Department was broke into at about 16:30hours The many surviors in were ether asleep or intoxicated, The situation was neutrilaized by 'The Brothers Grimm' on a routine patrol from Osmondville. There are still many zeds in this Suburb, these are indeed Grimm times.--Ravenbane 16:48, 5 August 2006 (BST)

  • July 2006
    • July 26th, 2006: The barricades on the Cosins Way Police Department have been destroyed. The zeds have been terminated and the doors secured, but survivors are urged to barricade the doors at least to VS ASAP.
      • Done. I encourage survivors to repopulate and secure the building. --Brasswatchman 00:24, 30 July 2006 (BST)
    • July 25th, 2006: Simple logic and research has showed that the Big bash will be moving through the area. Everyone in PFM and surrounding groups be on guard and have an alternate plan in case. When the big bash comes through it could get ugly due to the fact that frequent zed attacks on the fort usually spills into Pennville. With that, we will be surrounded on all sides. The PFM is coming up with a plan of attack for this rampage, whether it works or not time will tell. All groups of Pennville are asked to post here and help out to stop or stall the zombie horde. Our neighbors in Miltown will be next on the list and we should help them as well as we in Pennville are the first line of defense as well as fryerbank.
      • Please keep it on place. No matter how important you think it is. Also if you knew how to place your sig, then it would be much easier to contact you. --Niilomaan 18:20, 26 July 2006 (BST)
    • July 24th, 2006: Next time the Game-cavemen attack a member of the pennville freedom movement in zed form or alive an all out war will happen and the Game-cavemen will be expelled from Pennville. Cineraryone was attacked by a zed who is with the game cavemen in the the Buckoke Building 84, 88. I have his name and he will be dealt with accordingly. Big mistake and he will die in either form, dead ot alive. The PFM has a bounty on this scum that is supposedly helping to protect Pennville. See you soon with a bullet in your head. • July 17nd, 2006: The Farewell Brain Bash continus to advance with rumours of the Frontline being only 1 suburb away. All human groups are requested to prepare for the onslaught and band together to present a united defence. --Cavek 13:32, 17th July 2006
      • What is coming? Brain Bash? Got link for it? Only thing I found was Big Bash and that's not likely to come our way. --Niilomaan 17:15, 20 July 2006 (BST)
    • July 2nd, 2006: Cosins Way Police Dept [88, 85] has had its barricades totally destroyed. Zombies are killing survivors inside. Zed have been spotted around that area. --Donaldcallahan 17:33, 3 July 2006 (BST)
    • July 2nd, 2006: (Same thing I posted on Suburb.) Many zeds on the border area of Whittenside. Methodius General Hospital has fallen with 1 zed inside and 8 outside. Voizey Drive Police Department is standing strong with 72 survivors inside. The Buckoke Building is currently occupied by 5 zeds and has few outside. We have no reports from the Armoury of Fort Perryn just outside Pennville, but it's supposedly on zombie claws. If someone could help to fill this report, it would be most appreciated. --Niilomaan 23:01, 2 July 2006 (BST) NOTE: Fort Perryn is overrun and all people inside are dead. --Tikiman 12:04, 7 July 2006 (BST)

  • June 2006
    • June 30th, 2006: Fort Perryn has been overrun by zombies. Multiple zombies spotted around Cosins Way Police Station. Danger level of Pennville upgraded one level to Moderate. High level Zombies spotted in the area. --Donaldcallahan 17:20, 29 June 2006 (BST)
    • June 29th, 2006: The Corless Alley Police Department has been overbarricaded, according to the uniform barricading plan set up by the PFM and MFD. This is very bad news for new players such as myself (without free running). Please stick to the plan so that the newbies can stand a chance out here. --DarkOne41
    • June 25th, 2006: Once again, all is quiet in northwestern Pennville, the De-vivification Experts of Malton having (according to their own wiki page) run off to the west with their tails between their legs. Congradulations and thanks to all survivors who participated in the defense of the suburb. --Brasswatchman 08:36, 25 June 2006 (BST)
      • It's possible, just possible, that the DvEM left of their own accord, isn't it? They may have grown tired of the constant combat revives (don't you guys ever learn?) and the lack of available food? It's an alternative point of view, but I wouldn't characterize it as "tails between legs." Just saying, folks... --Phlax 21:19, 28 June 2006 (BST)
    • June 24th, 2006: To cavek: Use club barling as an entry point to the hospital. Whoever is cading to high on the hospital if found out will be dealt with accordingly.
    • June 23rd, 2006: Methodius General Hospital over barricaded, going against the barricade plan. Leving survivors who need it for refuge out in the cold. If I find whos over barricaded it I'll cap the little so and so. Cavek Pathfinders 20:39 June 23rd
    • June 12th, 2006: Grinter cinema and cummins alley PD over run. The DvEM are responsible due to sprays they have left.
    • June 9th, 2006: The Cummins Alley PD has again been broken into. The doors are wide open, and it is unknown if the group inside was completely slaughtered (there are many confirmed casualties, however). Graffitti inside the building indicates the attack was the responsibility of an organized band of zeds called the DvEM.
    • June 7th, 2006: The zed attack on Cummins alley PD was thwarted thanks to the PFM and others. Better luck next time.
    • June 3rd, 2006: As the radio silence in Malton is broken, Pennville gets its own frequency for internal affairs (Pennville Internal Communication Link or P.I.C.L.). All Police Departments, Fire Departments and Hospitals are asked to tune their transmitters to 27.80 Mhz, for an optimal communication link across the suburb.

  • May 2006
    • May 24th, 2006: Zeds have broken into Cummins alley PD in the NW section and all help is needed from the groups in the area. The PFM is currently working on it. 13 zeds on last count inside the PD. Stay in non resource buildings for now. I am unsure if these are ferals but they seem a bit to organized. Be wary, but the PD will be taken back. These stenches might be a spill over from the Whittenside assault.
    • May 16th, 2006: Hostile humans have been murdering zombies waiting at Methodious General Hospital for revives.

  • April 2006
    • April 7th, 2006: Voizey PD has been cleared and secured. 29 corpses lay outside though so the area is being watched. Prosser Arms in the south has one zed inside and 4 outside. It is currently at EHB. The PFM believes that the influx of zombies into the south of Pennville is due to the Fort. Area will be watched and cleared accordingly. Club Barling is still a revive zone for those that need the help.
    • April 6th, 2006: Southern Pennville is heating up. A substantial horde has been attacking Voizey PD and the surrounding buildings for the past few days. The horde's numbers have been seen anywhere from 18 to 23 at varying times. It is not known which group (if any) is responsible, or if it is simply ferals drawn together. The northern part is still fairly secure.

  • March 2006
    • March 24th, 2006: During a mad dash from Boole Place Firestation [82, 80] to the Fort Perryn [85, 90], about a dozen zeds were seen en route. Six of which were outside the Club Barling revive point [82, 81]. Not sure if the revive point is opperational, since those same six zeds have been standing there for the last three days. It's safe to assume it is. Over the past few days only mild zed activity has been noticed. Encountering about 15 or so zeds over three days. Most likely some of those zeds were multiple encounters putting the number around a dozen. Most look to be heading for the revive point for revivication although there maybe some lone raiders.
    • EDIT: Club Barling is still active for revives. Just a small slow down due to operations in the surrounding areas by the PFM and other groups. Please keep in mind this is STILL a revive point. Thanks...
    • March 21st, 2006: Nothing really new to report. Peace in Pennville has been maintained by the PFM and other like minded groups. Only a few straggler zombies wander the streets, but are effectivly disposed of quickly. Revives at club Barling are going smoothly.

  • February 2006
    • February 22nd, 2006 - Due to the fall of Fort Perryn a new barricading policy will be in effect for the SW and the SE of Pennville. All buildings will be built up/or remain at no lighter than VHB. The fight continues, and still remians in favor of survivor groups in the area.

  • January 2006
    • January 28th, 2006 - Penny Heights Resistance forces have made a statement, establishing a pact with any forces in Penville a offer of friendship and saftey. If any resistance force is need of escape, or aid Penny Heights is offering help. In return they must aid any operative from the Penny Heights area. HQ for the Penny Heights operations in Joachim Mall, we are currently 180+ strong in the area between the fire stations, and Deacon Police Dept. If you require safe haven please head to Deacon Police Station.
    • January 23rd, 2006 - Pennville is subject to Undead infiltration. There are currently no survivors at the revive point, Club Barling [82, 81], those that were revived were soon contaminated by infectious bite, while sleeping. One Medic, who awoke during the sneak attack, described the area as a cross between 'A car crash and the mutiny on the bounty'. The same eyewitness healed himself and fled the scene. He then reported finding two nearby buildings that had been heavily barricaded containing 17 and 56 memebers of the undead respectively. He is currnetly hiding, and will report any further findings when he is next able to.
    • January 21st, 2006 - The PFM has formed an alliance with the B.M.C (British Military Command) and looks forward to working with this elite group. We will help defend the borders of their home suburb of Whittenside as well as they will help us with the defense of Pennville from oncoming zombie hordes. This alliance is in the best interest of these two neighboring suburbs and groups.
    • Other note: The PFM has set up a revive point at Club Barling [82, 81] This mission of the PFM (Pennville Freedom Movement) has been very successful with an average rate of seven to twelve revives a day as well as scannings. If you wish to help in this effort or join the PFM please get in touch with Cineraryone by e-mail at: scoracrasia@scoracrasia.net
    • January 14th, 2006 - The Pennville Freedom Movement has noticed an influx of zombies in the area. They will be taking out the brain rot/hostile zombies over the course of this week. The report below is NOT by the PFM. We will continue to destroy all hostile zeds in Pennville and continue to revive zeds that wish to come back to life at the revive point at Club Barling [82, 81]
