UPDATES

09/14/06 12:33 AM PST - the RPM is officially formed...

09/23/06: A shakey peace has been established with the GRR!...They are still hunting PFM it seems.

11/25/06 12:16 PM EST: These are the Tiny URL links for our pages...at least one should be included in all sprays

Wiki Page: http://tinyurl.com/ygxuz7

Forum: http://tinyurl.com/yfx67b

12/08/2006 3:51PM EST: RPM issues a call to arms to help defend Fort Perryn against possible zombie raid. Currently 4 members helping. The rest should continue to upkeep the Revive point and generator placement.

12/22/2006 Most of the RPM are back at there home base of Gritter ready for Christmas and have set up a tree in screen one and going to play "its a wonderful life" on the big screen. (RPM have given up on Fort Perryn.)

1/22/2007 After a restful season the RPM are moving into Western Pennville, with aspirations of recruiting more members, and stilling the hostility in Osmondville and Penny Heights.

2/08/2007 After a successful campaign to the West, we returned to find our HQ infested. We are currently cleaning up Pennville, before a short jaunt north.

3/09/2007 Quiet for a while, and you know what that means. Currently engaged in defending Voizey PD and Methodius Hostpital from small irritating hordes. Picked up a few paintings for the HQ, covered some badly written sprays, and recolored a few with our forum link.

4/25/2007 Just when we start making preparations for the little shin-dig that the Batwing Brigade is throwing, in comes a mass of shambling, stinking rotters. Its been a couple of days, but we seem to be fending them off rather well. Grinter remains barracaded, and the Hospital generators have been replaced withing moments of being destroyed.

4/30/2007 The Party at Club Barling went off without a hitch. We kept the Gennie running and the Music playing all through the day and night. Special Thanks to the Batwing Brigade for MCing this event, and good work to the RPMers who helped keep our party goers safe.

10/24.2007 Its been a while since it was worth updating. We have been forced to abandon Pennville for the moment. We are trying to support the remaining Survivor population in surrounding suburbs. Soon we will mass the attack we need to reclaim our home from the Zombie hordes

SEQA

Hi guys,

I am just checking to see if your membership with SEQA is still valid and your current members are all aware of this? Spacerone added your group to the list on Jan 24th, but no follow up posts have been made to date.

http://seqa.proboards80.com/index.cgi?board=cp1&action=display&thread=1169642468

Can i please request RPM leadership personel to confirm your groups SEQA status? No action is required in order to remain on the SEQA JCFA list other than a simple yes or no ;)

TY! --MK 13:58, 13 October 2007 (BST)

It's a yes from us MK, thanks! MoyesT RPM 11:22, 16 October 2007 (BST)

Important Notice

There is a Rumor floating around, That Ronaldsan is a PKer...I would like to refute this claim once and for all...The sprays are unfounded, and until someone posts a screenshot of the alleged PKing, the RPM will stand by him on this matter...Get the facts straight, and get PROOF, before you respond to a rumor... Spacer one 21:49, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

  • there has only been 2 people killed by me both of them were on the Enemies list at the time...and if I remember rightly I left one of them for you to kill because he PKed you. --Ronald-san 22:03, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
  • seconded. No screen dump, no action. We don't take action on hearsay, and we support our own MoyesT RPM 10:00, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Alliance

Last Hope Mercenaries would be proud to be brothers in arms with the RPM, if your group ever needs support or needs more men to take out a mob of zombies, just welcome us into your home and we will be right by your side. --Grau Fox 20:28, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

Welcome to Pennville Grau Fox. Good to have you and your group as allies. Moyes 08:43, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Sorry but a member of our group has acted beyond his bounds to create this alliance. We are not even in the same area at the moment and we don't want a lot of obligations. I will put a suggestion of alliance with you on our talk page, and we are definitely not enemys but an alliance won't bennifit either of us. If at any time you are in over your heads though, you can always hire us. And we are fair in what we ask. I'm not pushing our group. I just want to give you the option of exchange of services. --Super holt 2*LH* 14:41, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

BMC

(Moved from top of page)

I Cineraryone, have gone solo to help BMC make hell for the anti-BMC hater Nuke texas. I have killed him twice. He got me once today. My agenga is to kill him so much that he will cease and desist from messing with my allies in the BMC. I am solo for an undetermined amnount of time until he wears out and quits. My alliance lies with RPM and BMC, but my main objective is to kill him so many times he cannot stand his ground anymore. I have killed him twice in a row, and he got me once, but this will not happen again. Right now, i am a mercenery only after him. He does not hide to well. he got me once today. I had him down to 2 HP's, but ran out of AP, and he woke up and got me. This will not happen again. he is mine from now on. Peace, and stay safe. he will perish endlessly until he quits, and moves on, or quits all together.Cineraryone 23:38, 6 April 2007 (BST)

Hey Spacerone. The BMC wishes an alliance with you. Just sign up at the BMC board here: http://p4.forumforfree.com/bmc.html

Congrats to cleaning house and all. Good luck and stay in touch.Cineraryone 13:57, 19 September 2006 (BST)

I'd advocate an alliance with the BMC. What do you all think? Moyes 11:56, 28 September 2006 (BST)

Good idea. I vote yes to our group signing up to this. Moyes 11:55, 28 September 2006 (BST)
Seems like a good idea...I don't think I walk past many Cementaries in my everyday movements. --Ronaldsan 16:27, 8 October 2006 (BST)
I noticed that you have a revive point marked on top of Club Barling. Placing revive points in the same square as buildings makes it hard to figure out who wants a needle, and who does not. The wasteland just south of Club Barling would be better, but best would be the cemetery at [85,86], which is already a well known and serviced revive point. --Terminator 484 FedCom | DEM 02:46, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
A fair point Terminator...we use Club Barling for sentimental reasons as much as tactical ones. I can see the logic of using the wasteland instead of a designated building. The cemetery is a little off our normal patrol route (and is right under the noses of GCM/GRR whom I assume check it regularly) but I'll raise your points in our forum and see what the consensus is. Moyes 11:04, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
We've discussed this and deceided to adopt the wasteland at 82,82 as our revive point. We agree with the point Terminator made about choosing a building-free spot; the cemetery seems well served by Fedcom and GCM already, and is a little awkward for us to get to and check (too many empty squares in the approach from Grinter - we'd be using a lot af AP's to break cover, hoping that the nearby buildings weren't over barricaded after we'd got there). Besides, a second revive spot in Pennville can only benefit survivors. Moyes 09:05, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

SMBP

Almost forgot. Would the RPM consider supporting this barricade policy instead of the old UBP? The UBP is intended for suburbs that do not already have a barricade plan, but Pennville has had this plan for a long time now. If there are any problems with the current plan, it is flexible and can be changed. Just drop by the discussion page and voice your concerns. The goal is to create a mutual plan for each suburb that every group living within can agree upon. --Terminator 484 FedCom | DEM 03:01, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

No problem, will put it up for discussion Moyes 11:05, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
I have changed the barracade plan on our page...I see no reason to go against a plan establised specifically for Pennville... Spacer one 13:50, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
This template would stand out on your page better than a single line of text: {{SMBP}} --Terminator 484 FedCom | DEM 06:24, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
Got it up, cheers for that Moyes 08:27, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

SMBP help

Could you please adjust the SMBP for pennville(I dont know how to change colors) to reflect the new revive point 1 South of Club Barling?...Also, we are discussing lowering the barracade level for Milton Walk, because we are getting complaints from newbies without free running, not being able to get guns/ammo. Please leave your thoughts on this on the RPM discussion page. Spacer one 14:17, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Contact Terminator 484, not me. He's the one running FedCom and that barricade thingie. --Niilomaan GRR!M! 14:35, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
Moved this little section under the main SMBP part.
Sure, and done. The more active revive points, the better (just be sure that those you revive are the good guys, of course). Milton Walk PD is already coded to VSB+2, so there is no need to lower it. If someone has boosted the barricades beyond heavy, the only thing that can be done is to tear them back down and leave a message about the proper barricade level. --Terminator 484 FedCom | DEM 17:26, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Possible Zerging within GRR?

I got bored in Pennville and had a wander over into next door Scarletwood to find some Z's.

Imagine my surprise to find http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=438581

Now, I wonder if this is a complete coincdence that someone else wanted to be called AlgoFinland? And that they just happened to want to play UD in the district NEXT DOOR to GRR's?

Looks to me like Zerging. Multiple characters are supposed to stay at least one whole block away from each other, so the unofficial ruling goes. Trust me, I looked it up when the PFM/GRR thing first blew up.

They assumed the PFM of being 'full of damn cheaters' because they found evidence of ONE person zerging. Therefore by their own logic, GRR are apparently cheaters too. Spread the word. Moyes 06:51, 30 September 2006 (BST)

That's his alt. There's also AlgoFinlandZombie roaming somewhere. Also Algos are not working together or in the same group. --Niilomaan GRR!M! 10:34, 30 September 2006 (BST)
Oh come on Niilomaan, you must know how this looks. An alt operating within easy distance of Pennville. Pull the other one. And I actually had you guys down as honourable in your own way.Moyes 19:24, 30 September 2006 (BST)
He says he didn't even remember having his alt there... Well I gave him a good slap about it in our IRC channel. Oh.. He used to have his other 2 characters running near Pennville from time to time, but we talk about it and he moved them away. (To avoid THIS.) I last saw his zombie at Giddings Mall with Big Bash. --Niilomaan GRR!M! 00:15, 1 October 2006 (BST)
Moving with the Big Bash is one thing...But being in the closest NT to Pennville is almost too " convenient"...There is Irony in this discovery. Maybe the GRR is a bit hypocritical?? Spacer one 01:54, 1 October 2006 (BST)
First of all , my characters WERE one whole block urb away from each others. Second , my charters DO NOT work together. This alt moves around south Malton , usually Spicer Hills - Danversbank , NT to NT reviving fellow-citizens. By COINCIDENCE he was in this particular NT in Scarletwood. If it makes you feel better , now he has moved to West Grayside. --Algo 09:46, 1 October 2006 (BST)

From GCM/GRR!

Is this yours? It killed unknown number of our members. Most likely just me. --Niilomaan GRR!M! 14:12, 18 October 2006 (BST)

Nope, not one of ours despite what he claims on his group description. Feel free to dish out some payback (though I suspect that thought has already crossed your mind once or twice. Go on. Be honest.) Moyes 16:35, 18 October 2006 (BST)
Well... We can't actually find him. But we will! --Niilomaan GRR!M! 17:19, 18 October 2006 (BST)
As a gesture of good will, I'll post his name on our 'Criminals' list on our own Forum.(he is using our group name on his description after all). That way he'll be hunted down by both of our groups until he gets the message. Moyes 12:52, 19 October 2006 (BST)
Hmph... KingStoph removed it. He also vandalised our group page. I have to report him. (He already had {{Welcomenewbie}} on his talk page from me.) --Niilomaan GRR!M! 14:39, 25 October 2006 (BST)
~sighs~ It's back on. Will try and contact him about the vandalising. And no problem with reporting him for it, its something we don't condone. Moyes 09:57, 27 October 2006 (BST)

Anti-"Trick or Treat"

We need a plan to counter act Trick or Treat a Feral Undead mission in Pennville - It is going to damage Pennville if we don't put up a strong resistance... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ronaldsan (talkcontribs) at an unknown time.

Yep. Am already tracking its progress from Empson PD to Voller Towers - I think Methodius Hospital too. It seems more a swarm attack on individual buildings rather than a concerted effort to keep buildings ransacked and guarded by Zombies, but we'll definately need to keep an eye on it. Moyes 15:48, 24 October 2006 (BST)
Yep. Thanks for the info. --Niilomaan GRR!M! 14:43, 25 October 2006 (BST)
Latest update - Voizey PD and the Buckoke Building are bearing the brunt of the Trick or Treat Campaign - Voizey especially is looking in desperate need of assistance Moyes 10:12, 27 October 2006 (BST)
Milton Walk PD is now breached too Moyes 14:37, 27 October 2006 (BST)
Add Methodius Hospital to the list, Zombies inside despite barricades being up Moyes 10:49, 28 October 2006 (BST)
Methodius clear and barricaded. Voizey PD completely overrun, currently 9 Zombies inside and no survivors. Apparently Remfrey Bank is open - I would alert GCM/GRR, but I got chewed out for the last warning I posted on their site. Still, I'm sure they're aware of the situation. Moyes 10:38, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
Remfrey Bank reportedly ransacked and cleared out of survivors. Cosins Way PD now breached and help requested Moyes 22:05, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
Buckoke Building and Druce Row School are gone. St Faustina's Church opened and one survivor remaining. Corless PD also breached, but at least they killed the Zerger AniyaCheung so its not all bad.....Moyes 09:29, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
Methodius Hospital under seige again - barricades very weak and a few injured survivors inside Moyes 15:50, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

Cummins Alley PD is breached! Someone get over there and help Ronaldson as he appears to be inside... Moyes 13:08, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Well, it's over. Although a couple of Ferals are still around (I flare-ignited one at the new Revive Point) and active (two HQ generators horribly vandalised in a week), the bulk of the FU seem to be heading north. It caused no end of trouble in some parts of Pennville, but we held on to the majority of the buildings under RPM watch. Well done guys, in the face of what was very determined, fun and well organised opposition. Moyes 11:21, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
I would like to add a well done, to the RPM...Not only did our central patrol area not take heavy damage, but the Hostpital never fell for more than a few hours, and Revives were dealt out constantly...Spacer one 18:07, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

Re-Graffitti mission

Since we should be moving around quite a bit to deal with this FU scourge, we should be putting RPM grafitti up as well. We need to expand the roster, and to do that we need signs on the walls...I recomend putting something like: "Patrolled by RPM...Join at Grinter" or just "Join RPM" and a link to our forum or Wiki... Spacer one 17:53, 24 October 2006 (BST)
I am going to get some spray cans aswell when I am stocked up on ammo. --Ronaldsan 12:20, 25 October 2006 (BST)

Page edits

moved Revive point to a higher spot on the page, as I felt it should be easier to get to...I also recomend we set up a "Non-member" revive request list somewhere for NW Pennville, if there isnt one already Spacer one 16:40, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Feral undead discussion

Hmmm..I don't think the Feral Undead are a PK group as such...I think they only kill survivors dumb enough to revive them despite having 'Feral Undead' in their profile. They eat generators though. Has anyone in the RPM been Pked by a FU they didn't revive? If so, then the group's place in this section is merited. Moyes 14:00, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
fair enough, I suppose that they are just a rampaging Zombie group, and should be removed(action taken and this moved to discussion page) Spacer one 14:41, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

FedCom Alliance

I notice you no longer list FedCom as your ally, and can't help but wonder if that is anything to do with our influence... --Karloth vois RR 02:49, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

Don't get too carried away...our withdrawl from the alliance with FedCom is due to certain comments made by the FedCom President. I'm sure you know which one in particular. I'm afraid you can't chalk it up to your group's actions. Moyes 08:44, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

Listen you dumb fucks the ONLY time I've ever killed a geni was when it was in a non resource building. Not serving a purpose and giving away a safe house to the zeds outside. You guys are morons.--Sexualharrison Malton Rangers Starofdavid2.png Mossad 01:44, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

While his reply was crass and arrogant, let me reassure you, if he dies at your hands, you make enemies of 60 rangers who are known to grief. If he killed a generator in a non resource building, its standard procedure and was probably doing you all a favor. If it was a resource building, I'll kill him myself. --General Lee A. Dickhole Malton Rangers 23:59, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
It was not a resource building but that does not mean he was right in what he did. He is still on the To Kill list for GKing and he will remain there until he is killed. --Ronald-san 01:50, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Oh.. You're making lotsa new friends! Tell us if you need backup. --Niilomaan GRR!M! 08:18, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Hehe - thanks Niilomaan! Just been admiring your impressive kill-tally of the CDF - I've been meaning to ask, what did those guys do to p**s you off? General Lee - destroying a gennie in a non-resource building might be your procedure, but it's not ours. Why? Well, as SHarrison points out it attracts Zombies. That's why we do it. We were using that building as a temporary HQ as a lure to divert Z's attention from proper resource buildings. They waste AP tearing down EHB's and then are faced with a group of high levelled characters. Would you rather they spent those AP's attacking resource buildings and newbies? And although 60 griefing Rangers is not particularly an enemy we want to take on, I would point out that having fought GRR! in the past you would be hard pressed to give us as tough a time as they did. MoyesT RPM 08:59, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
Hih.. Thanks. CDF is known for zerging, spying and using tools to track down people. As a part of GRR! and CFT I support none of those. The whole group just stinks, so we decided to give 'em one way tickets to our list of kills. And currently we're nearing 100 CDF kills and they got only few GRR! kills, so I think we're doing fine. --Niilomaan GRR!M! 11:40, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
I knew there was a reason for CDF. Good luck on the killing them. --Ronald-san 01:50, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Am I the only one who Sexualharrison has personally challenged?...on my discussion page... amusing...unfortunately for him, I dont have time to shirk my duties and hunt him down...lets just hope he wanders into Eastern Pennville for a bit...As for "Making over 60 enemies"...a criminal is a criminal, no matter how many friends he has... Checking in on friends

Hey guys, I know I left you a while back, during that whole big war with GRR! I was hoping though that maybe you guys wouldn't hold it against me and let us work together well to defend Penville, I'm working with GRRi now, but I promise I won't be PKing in your buildings, unless I'm attacked. HeadShotOmega 22:32, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

Hey there HSOmega! No hard feelings as far as I'm concerned. The whole PFM/GRR thing can even be viewed as a blessing in disguise - it unearthed zerging within the PFM and allowed the active members to form the RPM which I'm enjoying immensely. Feelings no doubt ran high during the little war, but it's all water under the bridge now. Besides, as I'm sure you know by now, the RPM and GRR are at peace and our mutual defence of Pennville has gotten off to a good start with our work around Methodius hospital and Voizey PD. You're welcome back in Grinter any time. MoyesT RPM 13:54, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

You're welcome Penny! We were happy to help out, and thanks to you and the Batwing Brigade for bringing some fun to Pennville! The timing was unfortunate, as there was a major Zombie invasion going on, but even so we managed to keep Barling powered and filled with karaoke even whilst the neighbourhood was devoured! I believe Barling eventually fell, but by then everyone was too drunk to notice :) Would love an invite to your next 'do' and we'll see if we can drum up some more support! Grand Opening April 30th

Hello!

Moyes contacted me about the BWB:s statements concerning Club Barling, and I figured I may as well set things straight here also.
The Batwing Brigade is not a group that will concentrate on holding buildings or other territory (as stated on our wiki page). We intend to use Club Barling as a casual ingame meeting place, and I see no reason why we would start barricading it above VS+2 or otherwise tie up the area, so, no need to worry. We would be more than happy to assist in any way we can with the defence of the suburb, although I personally don't foresee us being particularly stationary in the future.
I should tell you that, since we're in the early stages of recruiting, I have advertised a "grand opening" on April 30th. I suppose it will consist of pretending to play music on the dancefloor and drinking, i. e. AP wasting. Feel free to join in the fun.
Speaking of which, if you know any players with characters that would suit the BWB, please point them in our direction :-)
