Description

Risdon Towers is a condominium tower, and one of several storm-wracked towers, located in the suburb of Rolt Heights. The tower, one of the few buildings in the suburb high enough to look out across the suburb with an unobstructed view, seems to be caught in a perpetual storm. Or that's at least what residents and survivors often comment on. But whether this "dark cloud" hanging over Rolt Heights is proverbial or literal is a matter of opinion as survivors staying in other parts of the suburb have certainly experienced clear sunny days.

Built in 1976, the Risdon Towers was part of an initiative by local landowners to profit from the relatively cheap real estate prices in Rolt Heights. Of course, much to their dismay, they did not turn as quick a profit as they had hoped. In the case of Risdon Towers most of the condo's suites remained unsold almost three decades later. As such, the condominium saw little public appeal and most of the people living there were hardly "up and coming", or for that matter hardly on the law abiding side. Police noted that several members of the Russian Mafia had purchased penthouse suites in the building in the years before the "Malton Incident". These days the building stands even more empty than before, if such a thing were truly possible.

Barricade Policy

This building should be Very Strongly barricaded at all times. This is in accordance with the mutually supported Rolt Heights Barricade Plan set forth in agreement with local survivor groups. This building is meant to serve as a safehouse for Malton's veteran survivors.

It should be noted that as no specific survivor group monitors nor maintains the barricades associated with this barricade plan, so therefore it is not considered to be enforced. As such, survivors should always expect to find the barricades set at varying levels depending on the survivors inside the building. For the most part though, survivors should always expect to find this building over-barricaded rather than under-barricaded simply due to survivor nature.

Current Events

September 9th, 2010 - Took 35AP to repair the building but repair it I did ... I was able to bring barricades back up to VHB++. Hard work but slowly putting this part of Rolt Heights back in order. --OO Willie 07:06, 8 September 2010 (BST)

April 23rd, 2007 - Sometimes the new survivor group, Metal Fox, can be be seen here in the Towers preparing for their next combat operation.

April 10th, 2007 - In accordance with the PKA's agenda in the suburb, as per the Rolt Heights War, Red Rum sent Special Agent Mulder to assassinate Reverend Vigilante. Well, not "specifically". He just had the misfortune to be here when Agent Mulder dropped by in his search for targets.

April 8th, 2007 - ZiggyIrked of Cybele's Slayers murdered Gratefulltobedead while he was sleeping in one of the abandoned room's inside Risdon Towers. This made Gratefulltobedead yet another victim of the Rolt Heights War.
