April 13th

NecroWatch reported in from The Frauley Building and The Gilesi Building today. Scans revealed 72 zombies within range of the two facilities. Of these, 4 were at the Pilling Building, 4 were at Smythe Alley School, 4 at the Hoddinott Building, 4 at Garson Towers, and 5 at the Purt Building. All other zombies in groups of 3 or less, with many single zombies holding ruins. However, with scattered power, only isolated ruins, and zombie and survivor activity, Roywood is not a ghost town. I am updating the suburb status to Moderate. ~ extropymine Talk | NW | 4Corners 21:22, 13 April 2009 (BST)

March 19th

NecroWatch reported in from the Gilesi Building. A recent scan had revealed that there were 33 zombies within scanning range of the facility. Of these numbers, 5 zombies were at the Willia Hotel, 4 zombies were at the Frauley Building, while 3 zombies were at both St. Dismas's Hospital and a junkyard. The remaining zombies, which numbered in the 1's and 2's, were scattered across the area. --Mobius 16:28, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

March 18th

NecroWatch reported in from the Pilling and Purt Buildings. Recent scans had revealed that there were 81 zombies within scanning range of the facilities, after accounting for scan overlaps. Of these numbers, 7 zombies were at the Frauley Building and 3 zombies were at the Purt facility itself. Meanwhile over in Judgewood there were 6 zombies at the cemetery revive point and 4 zombies at both Higgin Square Fire Station and Maney Library. The remaining zombies, who mostly numbered in the 1's and 2's, were scattered across the area. --Mobius 12:12, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

March 16th

NecroWatch reported in from the Frauley and Gilesi Buildings. Recent scans had revealed that there were 60 zombies within scanning range of the facilities, after accounting for scan overlaps. Of these numbers, 7 zombies were at the Purt Building, 4 zombies were at the Frauley facility itself, while 3 zombies could be found at Monica General Hospital, Walrond Place Fire Station, the Carslake Museum, a junkyard, and a factory. Of the remaining local zombies, which numbered in the 1's and 2's, they were scattered across the area and posed no serious threats on their own. However, this threat assessment does not account for the current status of the various safehouses. --Mobius 12:55, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

Since Extinction's defeat of Beerhah at Purt NT the town's defenses have collapsed with local defenders retreating to the still barricaded safehouses around ruined Gerard PD as well as the Gilesi NT. Most of the rest of Roywood has fallen into ruin and the town is now under emergency quarantine. --Zeug 16:57, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

November 9th

As the very last of the stalwart defenders of Pask dragged kicking and screaming into the streets of Roywood, a great graaaaagh of triumph was heard emanating from the victorious Extinction Zombies, who had borne the harsh sting of the Beerhah's needles for far too long. With Purt now occupied by a group of 18 zombies, any remaining survivors would do well to make preparations for a final stand or vacate the suburb entirely. -- Naelok 19:24, 9 November 2008

November 5th

The members of 404: Barhah not found that were helping to hold Pask NT in Dakerstown have fallen back to Purt NT to regroup, pursued by Extinction all the way. While most buildings remain ruined, a block of 4--Purt NT, St. Linus Hospital, and the Cosway and Meaden Banks are all barricaded and lit. Extinction zeds were gathered outside eagerly slamming on the barricades. It'll be interesting to see how the highly coordinated but greatly outnumbered members of 404 hold out against Extinction.--Leslie Stone 8:31, 27 October 2008 (EST)

The northern half of the suburb is fully barricaded baring one NT and 2 dark buildings, several TRP's are powered across the suburb. There is some zombie presence however the survivor presence is far more significant in both number and effect on the situation of the suburb, moderate.--xoxo 04:46, 6 October 2008 (BST)

Thanks mainly to the coordinated efforts of the Deck of 52, Red Cresent Research Facility and Zombie Assault Force many of the non-resource buildings are now fixed with the exception of a few cinemas, banks and resource buildings which has helped returned the suburb from its ghost town status to a more favorable one for survivors for now. The biggest number of Zeds I've seen together is 5 inside the Purt Building. The Gerrald PD is hotly contested for between Zeds and survivors. I cant give and exact number of Zeds in the suburb but I have counted about 15 in the south. --Feon Kensai 14:28, 6 October 2008 (BST)
After nearly two years of being in zombie hands, this suburb is finally falling into human hands. This marks the end of the north western saga and the eradication of the last markings left behind by the former legacy that was Caiger mall. The man 02:43, 7 October 2008 (BST)

October 2nd

At least 23 zombies on the streets, with the largest gathering being 5. 9 of the 12 Tactical Resource Points are ruined, and the remaining 3 (2 factories and the single auto repair) have no power. Much of the remaining suburb lies in ruins, with only a couple of buildings lit, signifying a low survivor presence. This is not a suburb, its an empty pile of ruins. the buildings in this suburb have been ruined for so long that it is almost impossible to distinguish what each pile of ruins used to be, whether it was an NT or a hospital or a PD or a fire dept. there are clearly no survivors here due to the lack of any shelter and since there are no survivors here there are hardly and zombies at all either since they have wondered off into neigbouring suburbs to look for food. The VZW sponsored the sixth leg of the First VZW Zedapalooza Concert Tour at Club Tarring. The event was so loud that it shook substantial amounts of debris loose from surrounding buildings causing severe damage to the venue. The noise also attracted a very hungry horde of undead music lovers who were, regrettably, unable to control their urge to devour the living concert goers' brains. The tour cancelled the second show in favor of seeking revives in a more 'breathing friendly' suburb. --Shazzelim 13:57, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Roywood is completed ruined. All buildings appear ruined, large zombie hordes outside, especially around important locations. Zero survivors seen. Doing anything to a building to repair it and barricade it will likely bring a large set of zeds at the site as they've already eaten everything else. Nearest safe zones for survivors appear to be south of Molebank on the maps?! That can't be right. What a disaster for the survivors.--Wke235 01:30, 29 August 2007 (BST)

All survivors currently residing in Roywood should be aware that the town has been proclaimed an Extinction Zone and will be actively defended by Extinction forces and their undead Allies. All four NT's remain compromised with Ashcroft Hotel and Grist Crescent Railway Station around the Gilesi NT ransacked this morning and the defenders dragged into the street and eaten alive. The Cult of Nivelon also suffered another serious defeat in their bid to fortify the Gazzard Avenue School next door to the Frauley NT. An organized Extinction Zombie Squad operating out of the Frauley NT is believed to have spearheaded both of these latest atrocities and Roywood is now under zombie occupation. Residents are advised that it is currently very dangerous to seek shelter in buildings within a one block radius around the Purt, Gilesi, Frauley and Pilling NT's, Gerard PD as well as Monica and Linus Hospitals. The town center likewise remains very dangerous although the DHPD is attempting to support sporadic health services at St Dismas' Hospital on the south central border. --Zeug 20:14, 23 June 2007 (BST)

Recent attempts by survivors to reclaim the Purt's NT have failed as more zombies gather around the labs.

Survivors in southern Roywood take cover in hotels to counter the horde around nearby Gerrard Place Police Dept which has been captured. NT shows an increase in undead populations as ferals come closer, drawn by the constant groans.

Zed squads have been seen making trips around the northern border of Dakerstown. Alegedly two groups of zombies moved in to Dakerstown. The first squad , which had about 17 zombies in it moved through the northwest border of Judgewood into Roywood and then into Dakerstown . The second march cosisted of 11 zombies , Dna scans revealed that 8 of the eleven zombies were advance combat types with skills geared toward barricade busting , they came from the southeast border of Roywood most likely from Chudleyton and quickly headed north- probably into Dakerstown.

September 20th

A Disturbing trend of anti-DHPD graffiti has spread throughout Roywood. False statements such as " 'x' is for DHPD only" or "Join the DHPD or die" have appeared on many buildings recently. It is not known who is spraying this graffiti, but one thing is for sure, It is NOT DHPD personnel.

The Ordo Lividus Crucis has begun to establish its presence in Roywood, beginning with a Revive Point at Maddaford Square [4, 13]. It will be checked regularly. If you would like to get involved with the OLC we are actively recruiting members.

July 14th

Roywood is overrun with zombies, believed to have been attracted to the horrendous smells emenating from the kitchen of one firemanstan, a local McZed's employee. GPD, Garson Towers, St. Monica's Hospital, and the local Necrotech building were all overrun. F.R.E.E.Z.E. operatives were called back to aid Roywood, though even they might not be enough to stop the hordes. Enter now at your own risk; Roywood is no longer for the faint of heart.

June

June 1st

The majority of the group known as F.R.E.E.Z.E. moves north into Dakerstown, in hopes of making that suburb inhabitable once again. A few members remain in Roywood to run the McZeds restaurant located there, and to lend general assistance to the suburbs' human inhabitants.

May

May 30th

The zombie hordes that had laid dedicated sieges to the resource buildings only weeks ago, have vanished. Small numbers of undead remain on the far edges of the suburb, but the center of the Roywood is back comfortably in the hands of its human occupants. There is some debate between the residents over the barricade levels of the Police Department (and a few other resource buildings) - with some survivors not yet able to overcome their fear of the undead after the last siege, and refusing to leave a little space in the barricades to allow access for those citizens who have yet to master the art of Free Running.

May 16th

Zombies roam the streets in seemingly ever increasing numbers. The northern half of the suburb, where the survivor population is the most dispersed, is being ransacked by zombies suspected to have migrated from the (almost completely void of human life) suburb of Dakerstown in search of flesh. Resource buildings, and long established safehouses in the central/southern part of the suburb continue to endure sieges by various zombie hordes numbering in the low to mid teens. Survivor groups considering a move to Roywood will be welcome with open arms by the human groups currently inhabiting the suburb, fighting for their lives.

April

April 12th

Recoiling from a dispute and subsequent hostile tensions with another survivor group from their previous suburb of residence - coupled with the zombie breach and massacre of their ranks in Gerrard Place PD a few days ago - the LCD decides to relocate to another suburb, regroup, and work on repairing the damage done to their ranks. Roywood survivors are saddened to see them go, they will be sorely missed.

April 6th

The revives are not random, if you go to Hecks Street, there will be revives handed out as soon as possible from F.R.E.E.Z.E., just be patient and a medical revive will be administered soon.

April 5th

There seems to be no organized revieve regime right now in Roywood. A number of victims of the Gerrard PD massacre are seen wandering from one Necrotech Building to next without being revieved. Purt Building Necrotech hideout was overrunned by Zombies for a short moment and now is barricaded up.

April 4th

Things are getting a bit lively in Roywood, as the new scan shows. Please keep an eye on the barricades, and pay attention to the defensive plans so as to avoid stranding folks outside.

March 17th

Things are fairly quiet in Southern Roywood, although the Zeds seem to be trying to gang up on buildings occasionally, breaking down the barricades and trying to infect those within. Zeds are also trying to build Zed Dens, ie. buildings without barricades that they hide part of their number inside making it look like there are less Zeds than there actually are. Humans are thus encouraged to keep barricades high and well patrolled on all buildings and in all corners of Roywood in order to prevent a hidden accumulation of Zeds from arising. If you see a building that is being attacked by a group of Zeds, please pop inside and prop up the barricades to what they should be.

March 3rd

In an effort to help dispose of the many corpses that litter the streets of Roywood, F.R.E.E.Z.E. begins inquiry into franchising opportunities with McZeds restaurant. They begin work to convert Esgar Auto Repair into a McZeds location. A grill is taken from the Grace Arms and moved into Esgar, and work is being done to acquire a cooler of some sort. Decor is being selected, and tables and chairs are being constructed out of old car parts. F.R.E.E.Z.E. plans a grand opening celebration of McZeds Roywood 3/10/06 - and will be giving a free drink with every order (limit one per customer) on that day.

February

February 2nd

This suburb officially becomes the LCD's new home. 3/4 of LCD's forces have already established their presence and two revive points are already set. LCD is working very hard to maintain the barricading plan and keep the suburb safe. We hope to establish even stronger ties with our allies soon.

January

January 29th

Roywood has been turned from a lone wolf haven to a suburb where the weary traveler is almost guaranteed to find an organized safe house. Zombie numbers have dropped significantly and though there is still a moderate amount of zombies present they are comprised entirely of ferals who in the face of organized barricading struggle to find a meal. For those looking to spend the night here the centre of the suburb is safest section of what is already, a safe suburb. (Note: It is at around this time that that The Wild Hunt is suspected to have sucumbed to inactivity.)

January 25th

Through the combined efforts of groups such as CMS, F.R.E.E.Z.E., Dakerstown Elite Army, smaller Strike Teams, and some voracious unaffiliated survivors there - the zombies are driven to the outskirts of the suburb. The central area of Roywood is safe enough to allow a weary traveler a brief nap on the streets. Some slight zombie activity remains, though concentrated along the Western edge of the suburb.

January 3rd

F.R.E.E.Z.E. decides to officially occupy Roywood, setting up various head quarters throughout the suburb. Operations commence to drive out the zombies that inhabit the area.

January 1st

Members from F.R.E.E.Z.E., driven out of Dakerstown by heavy Death cultist activity, begin scouting out the suburb as a possible new home.

December

December 29th

6:49PM EST St Linus's Hospital smashed open. Humans fleeing. It's a wonderful day to be a Wild Boy! -- You're welcome. Check 1w1n. -- TWH

Late December

Currently, as of late December 05, The Wild Hunt Area of Operation (AO) is focused in this area. He is opening buildings then letting others know where the fun is. The Wild Hunt is comprised of a single zombie.

October

Late October

It was overun by the ATF in late October 2005, and then left in ruin. A number of zombies still mill about, but there is no cohesive effort, and hordes are a rare occurrence. The only reason why the suburb is still in bad shape is that the survivors are even less organised, content to run from safe house to safe house as zombies tear down their defences, picking off the plentiful individual zombies and gaining experience.
