12/23/05 Update: The Special Tactics And Rescue Squad website has been taken down for repairs. It will retun shortly. We are currently holding out in Wray Heights, but will soon make our final leg to Wyke Hills.

12/24/05 Update: Website work continues, but in the mean time S.T.A.R.S. leader Stephen Wolfe has made public some pages from his journal as he struggles to survive. S.T.A.R.S. Stories (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/26746662)

12/28/05 Update: Immediately after recieving an urgent distress call from the safehouse in Wyke Hills, all contact was lost with the soldiers stationed there. Reports of a zombie horde destroying the barricade and slaughtering those inside have been confirmed. The S.T.A.R.S. will reconvene ASAP to create a new plan of action and coordinate the retaking of the safehouse. Barricades must be replaced and any undead opposition wiped out. The website is still down due to technical difficulties but will likely be up within the week. The second S.T.A.R.S. Story (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/26831339/) has been posted.

12/29/05 Update: The S.T.A.R.S. safehouse has been retaken after a brutal battle in which Alan Wolfe, Stephen's brother, was killed by a group of zombies. Though he is currently waiting at a revival clinic, the S.T.A.R.S. are saddened by this loss.

1/9/06 Update: On the night of January Seventh, the S.T.A.R.S. hold out was attacked. Stephen Wolfe fought back several zombies with the help of Aran Helix, but the two were forced to retreat when the walking dead's numbers grew too high. Members Jacob Niles, AnApprentice, and Mushroom Blue of the S.T.A.R.S. were killed in this assault, and are currently awaiting revival. Stephen Wolfe returned the next day and began systematically cleaning out the undead. Assisted by the remaining S.T.A.R.S. mebers and several survivors, the hold out was cleared of undead resitence and is currently housing the surviving S.T.A.R.S. as they regain ammo and tend their wounds. The group has received word that a member, JD Ryerson, has been killed. The group has issued an order requiring any and all S.T.A.R.S. currently sent out on away missions to retun to the home group at Binning Way Police Department, East Grayside.

1/10/06 Update: The S.T.A.R.S. have relocated and several deceased members have returned to action. The S.T.A.R.S. are currently fighting a winning battle against a minor horde, in their ongoing efforts to reclaim Malton. After rescuing a survivor from said horde, they have barricaded themselves in an obscure building, and are awaiting contact from JD. He is urged to send Stephen Wolfe a message on his mobile phone, should he have the capability to do so. In addition, the group has alerted team technical advisor, Aran Helix, that if he does not repair the website soon he will be fed to the zombies.

1/12/06 Update: Group members AnApprentice and Alan Wolfe have been revived and will rejoin the home group shortly. Aran Helix promised to create a new website to avoid being eaten.

1/14/06 Update: As East Greyside continues to become infested, S.T.A.R.S personel continue to ponder possible rendevous points. Milton and Whittenside are the front runners, and personal favorites of the group. - In other news, the website is still being worked on, expect it to be finished by January 16 2006, or a temperory board will be set up.

1/16/06 Update: JD and Stephen have met up finally, and will proceed to wipe out the few remaining zombies (Which have, coincidentally, clustered outside their Police Department).

1/17/06 (1:30 AM CMT) Update: CaptainSteiber (F.E.A.R.) explores vast majority of East Grayside. Less than 5 survivors in E. GS, 3 zombies (formerly 4, takes one out on a recon trip for ammo). Previously, CaptainSteiber alias, Killa23, gets taken out by squad of 10 zombies. Takes out 2. They retreat from Greyside boundries at approximately 12:05 1/17. CS holds position in the Stribling Building [66, 89] (strongly barricaded, remains empty). Status: 1 AP. 50 HP. 6 Pistol Rounds.

1/15/06 Update: Stephen Wolfe has broken off temporarily to run recon on East Grayside. It is mostly deserted, with very few zeds remaining in the district at all. After dispatching one, he has taken shelter in Witchell Street PD to restock on ammo. JD is urged to meet him there. Stephen's current plan is a fairly daring one- Return To Fort Wikiw- uh, Club Mackeral. With the groups new firepower and Construction, they can secure it and defend it from the walking dead.

F.E.A.R. requests partnership with S.T.A.R.S.

1/18/06 Update: Stephen Wolfe would like greet CaptainSteiber and F.E.A.R. as new allies. The group should organise and form a clear plan as to where they want to go- such as the Caiger Mall. He would like to confirm that the group's website is indeed up and running at a new adress, however Aran helix has decicded it's not ready for release yet. As part of their ongoing efforts to eliminate the zombie threat, a small detacthement of S.T.A.R.S. (Stephen Wolfe and Johnothan117) will be dispatched to Cousins Towers later in the day. Their mission is to check the (currently unknown) status of the Mobile Phone Mast there, and to refuel the generator if need be.

EDIT: After journeying to Cousins Towers (66, 82) Stephen has found the Mobile Phone Mast inoperative, as there is no generator. He is currently located in a warehouse (68, 82) and is exhausted.

1/20/06 Update: To save space, Stephen Wolfe has created a Special Tactics And Rescue Squad News Archive to store old and outdated news. He has also updated the forum extensively. Everyone joining the board is requested to post on "Introductions" thread. Also, anyone capable of combat is asked to please help remove the undead from Cousins Towers.

1/20/06 Update: An official date has been set up for the seizeing of Cousin Towers. Plans will be disscussed on the fourm.

1/21/06 Update: Cousins Towers has been retaken and barricaded. A lone zombie is outside. However, the S.T.A.R.S. still need a new generator to power the Mobile Phone Mast on the roof. In other news, I (Stephen Wolfe) sent a (zombified) recon drone out to Ridleybank. It's not as bad as they say it is.

It's much, much worse.

1/21/06 Update: I ( Aran) have a mobile recon unit in Pitneybank. It seems the Mall Tour stopped there with a total of over 100 zed at the Giddings Mall. If you have any contacts there, tell them to leave now, before it's to late.

1/22/06 Update: PaxtonFettel reports that CaptainSteiber & JohnnyZirconuim are all zombies and have stationed outside the Cousin's Towers. They await some kind of assistance.

1/24/06 Update: Aran's mobile unit, his name is Benjamin Helix, is now stationed outside Caiger Mall. CMS, we are here to help.

1/24/06 Update: *sigh* Because some people take wiki criteria a bit too seriously, (I'm looking at YOU, Matthew Stewart) Stephen Wolfe's wiki won't be there anymore. So I switched to using Stephen Wolfe as my wiki account, and it's all good.

And yes, Stephen Wolfe really is my name. But in other news, Mushroom Blue was killed when our barricades failed and a horde of zombies rushed into Club Tinney. The remaining survivors inside were evacuated. Mushroom's heroic act will not be forgotten, and he is currently awaiting revival.

1/25/06 Update: Unconfirmed reports have stated that massive undead hordes are gathering to the Northeast of our current location. STARS personel have decided to fight for East Greyside, in what could be the biggest battle this town has ever seen.

1/26/06 Added to the list of Confirmed Groups as we have finally made the stats page of UD. Congrats to all members!

1/26/06 Update: While on a routine rescue mission at Cousins Towers, after scouting the area, he headed back to the HQ. On the way back, Chris Hollis saw a man at the Warhouse located at [68, 82] Chris ran over to help the victim. Though he fought the zombie with everything he had, the shambler managed to kill the survivor. After killing the Zombie, Chris returned to Witchell Street PD, with guilt on his mind.

1/28/06 Update: A massive battle was fought for Witchell Street Police Department, leaving Stephen Wolfe on the brink of death. Ally assistance urgently requested

1/28/05 Update: It seems we got an eviction notice from the MotA. We have to get out of Gullonside before they destroy us. Thing is, we're not in Gullonside. Thanks for beings dipshits. You are now offically our enemy and we are declaring war on you. Good day.

2/2/2006 Update: Johnathan 117 is revived, and will meet up with the STARS soon.

2/4/2006 Update: Mushroom Blue has recently been revived, and is with the STARS.

2/11/2006 Update: Meinstorm here requesting that someone in the group drops by the forum and pm's me the location of our new base of operations. I er..... got a bit lost.

2/11/2006 Update: STARS personel are consedering removing the state of black ops over us. More coming later in the day.

3/4/06 Update: We are aware that we have not updated this in a while. We are quite sorry. But nothing really has happened. We are currently In East Greyside running the place. The only thing to discuss about East Greyside is the small group NoobCakes. They seem to think they can order us around. We have sent them a leter, and we hope they obey.

3/10/06 Update: East Greyside is currently zed free, except for some stragglers. The group NoobCakes has left East Greyside, and tensions with the small group are high. Stephen Wolfe has warned the group, and the S.T.A.R.S hope it does not come down to a group war, we do not wish to waste the ammo.

3/11/06 Update: Rumors have been swirling about a possible merger between NecroTech Countermeasure Squad and the STARS. Nothings official yet, but this would create one of the most powerful groups in Southern Malton. Expect More News within the next few days.

3/18/06 Update: Well, we didnt merge, but East Greyside is still extreamly quiet. S.T.A.R.S members are still running recon in the area, and continue to kill all zombies that straggle through.

3/25/06 Update: We are sorry, our orginal intel was wrong, we have the real update here: One of our leader members, JD Ryerson was killed by a PKer by the name of Gerriod. Apperently he had no motive, and it was a personal attack. While on a routine mission in Wray Heights, our Scout Ez Does It, witnessed a complete slaughter in Wray Heights. The PH clan slaughtered all the "non believers" and to keep up with our mission statment, we ahve declared war on this group. We have reports of our allies being tourtured by this clan, which has given us more motive to destroy this group. Wray Heights will soon be invaded by a group made up of undisclosed groups.

3/27/06 Update: War has been declared. PH Members are targets for everyone in the allience. All members of the allience are urged to stay in contact with eachother.

3/30/06 Clean up: News more than 30 days old has been removed. JD Ryerson

3/31/06 Update: Recent Intel states that there is close to no PH activity in Wray Heights, because of this, we are going to put our attention towards the recent zed activity in East Greyside (PH Zeds?) We also have intel that the RRF made a clean sweep through Wray Heights. THANK YOU RRF!

4/11/06 Update: Wow, Long time no update, everything is is pretty slow, a little PH killing here, a little casulties over there, except we revive people instantly, they take a few days to. Funny Fact: PH leader Juggernauta was spotted killing one of his own members in Wray Heights. Some fucking leader.

4/12/06 Update: The guerilla war rages on against the PH, with the S.T.A.R.S. scoring more kills every day. Using brutal hit-and-run tactics, the S.T.A.R.S. are continually catching the PH off guard and unprepared. The religious zealots apparently lack the ability to adapt or change tactics, and this will lead to their downfall. Oh, and I updated my wiki profile. Stephen Wolfe

4/15/06 Update: We have confirmation that Captain Greg Melayne has killed a high ranking PH cultist: Juggernauta. Melayne has been awarded a medal, too see the award, scroll down. We will soon have graphics for them and some other parts of the wiki.

4/22/06 Update: STARS High Commander Chris Hollis has led a team into Spicer Hills to assist our allies The Necrotech Countermeasure Squad wih their RRF problem. Hollis is leading a group of 3 in "Operation: Silenus" and should be back by Sunday Night, or early Monday. In other news, the STARS would like to announce that Meinstorm has been awarded the Gold Stars Award. For His service on the message boards.

4/23/06 Update: Operation:Silenus is going smoothly and has no casulties to report, or break ins to the base. But, meinwhile rumors have been swirilinng about growth and expansion. Some are for it, while others are against it. One rumor has diffrent areas that the STARs control would be lead by a certian member, and they would report to the high command (kind of like a senetor reporting to a president) but nothing's official yet.

4/24/06 Update: Meinstorm here. Some idiot named Hulse has been vandalising our wiki I have deleted his work but I warn you Hulse you will be reported if this happens again.

4/26/06 Update: New "History" section added, taken straight from a Resident Evil Novel, along with the STARS motto. Thought it put some pizzaz to the page. - Chris Hollis

5/1/06 Update: New Temp. Picture up, im still working on adding the STARS Biohazard Logo onto it (so it looks good) So yeah...- Chris Hollis ive also added a PH Terror Level meter, so our members and allies can see how our intel say how dangerous the PH are.

5/4/06 Update: The Special Tactics and Rescue Squad has commensed an Attack on Pole Mall, we have joined the efforts to save the supply area of the STARS. Expect Udates frequently.

5/8/06 Update: The STARS have moved back into East Greyside, and are monitering the recent terror attacks of Pherez. He is one of the few remaining PH cultists who have not bowed down the the STARS and left Wray heights and East Greyside. The Terror Threat has been moved back to Orange because of the PHerez, once he is taken care of yellow will be put back up.

5/9/06 Update: Mushroom Blue and John 117 have succesfully killed the leader of the PH: Dolordebarriga. Mushroom Blue was Awarded the Medal of Honnor and John was awarded the Outstanding Service In Battle Award for delevering the final shot.

5/12/06 Update: Dolordebarriga tries in vain to vandalize the S.T.A.R.S wiki page. Many see the vandalization, but are unimpressed. Greg Melayne points and laughs at Dolordebarriga's attempt at vandalization.

5/15/06 Update: The STARS are growing tired of the constant wiki vandalizing, reporting will ensue if it does not stop. In other news, the STARS are still fighting to survive the zombie hordes that plauge East Greyside.

5/16/06 Update: ez does it has been awarded the Outstanding Service In Battle Award for recently gaining an important objective 'for the S.T.A.R.S. and The Cop has been given the Revival Award for his great revivification aid. Also, The STARS have begun their revival parade. Chris Hollis gave his life while saving his friends Mushroom Blue and Aran Helix at Pole Mall. He was awarded the Revivication Award and another Purple Heart.

5/17/06 Update: Pvt Shicklegruber, Virus002, Johnathan 117, and Whisperblade have all recieved Medals of Honor for their outstanding anti-PH work, which led to the elimination of PH leader Dolordebarriga again, Miserable, and the ever irritating PHerez. Shicklegruber and Virus have additionally recieved the Gold S.T.A.R.S. Award for their excellent contributions to S.T.A.R.S. intel and community. Great work to all involved.

5/22/06 Update: PH Extermination is a new wiki page that is up! We support this extreamly, and we hope its influence grows!

5/26/06 Update: The ranks have been updated due to me and Chris making it to the next rank - The Cop

5/29/06 Update: The S.T.A.R.S. HK (led by g4361) is being re-instated, and shall continue to work on its flush of PH in Wray Heights. The S.T.A.R.S. HK, which is a subgroup that is somewhat of a special ops group of the S.T.A.R.S., was disbanded after their leader g4361 decided to retire, but hatred for the PH has led g4361 to continue his search and destroy methods.

6/1/06 Update: Mushroom Blue here. Ez has been awarded the Medal of Honor for killing three PH members. Greg has recieved an award for his intelligence leading to the capture. Bravo!

6/14/06 Update: Operation: Thurmond has started by orders of Chris Hollis. The operation is top secret at the moment, but will be announced to the public when it is completed.

6/18/06 Update: After killed many STARS Members, PHerez was finally shot down by The Cop, even with his limited Resources he pummeled him till he died.

6/21/06 Update: We have heard reports of the DEM passing through East Greyside, and the Shining Ones coming to West Greyside, appropriate measures will now be taken.

7/19/06 Update: The town is a war zone, with little rest areas still running. The STARS have set up a safehouse, and is currently housing the wounded and infected of East Grayside.

8/06/06 Update: the group has decided to pull the bulk of The_Front_Lines out behind the movements of the Big Bash to begin repair and rebuild of a specific undisclosed suburb for now. Thsi descion is a needed plan to the front lines, and if you want to make a difference, enlist now in the S.T.A.R.S.!

10/2/06 Update: http://urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=435139 Mayor Ruffel is no longer a S.T.A.R.S. member. He has been stripped of his rank and insignia. He has officialy become a PKer and has attacked and killed multiple S.T.A.R.S. (including me, 3 times). 10/6/06 Update: There seems to be some confusion with the DHPD and the STARS. Chris Hollis has been informed, and we are currently trying to fix the mess we are in.

11/13/06 Update: Mayor Fitting is no longer a part of S.T.A.R.S., as he took his alt kaiser33 and attacked one of our safehouses along with RowanMayfair and a horde of zombies.

11/29/06 Update: After some deliberation by command, we've decided to come back home to East Greyside! ~^{u t STARS}

12/18/06 Update: The STARS continue to control EG, though some "political" problems regarding a sub group of the MFD and their tagging upon STARS buildings and..other small groups asking for STARS members to join their group on our radio frequency have gotten some members a little restless, measures are being taken to solve these issues though.

12/23/06 Update: Pvt. Shicklegruber has retired from S.T.A.R.S we wish him the best of luck and ask that he keeps in touch he's a great guy.

12/27/06 Update War has Been Declared on the small group that calls themselves Grayside Demons. Chris Hollis tried to instill peace, but when the ultimatum was not reached, the STARS accepted the groups war deceleration. Plans are being written up and many allies have been called upon to squash the problem.

1/5/07 Update HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Sorry it's late but we've had other concerns. A ceasefire has been declared all S.T.A.R.S are to stand down from fight the Demons. 1/22/07 Update We now have a new Basic Training Commander! Congrats to Binney on his promotion.

2/11/07 Update: Not much going on, we continue to run smoothly in East Grayside, but we are having problems with one member in particular Iamnota _____ [the blank can be filled with: melon,zombie, porpoise, necromancer and firemansamiam] who continues to fight the STARS from the days of the Demons Conflict. (I am not___ is not a member of the Demons anymore).

3/23/07 Update: East Grayside continues to feel the heat of the RRF coming trough the city. Atlthough buildings cades have been at a low, we are still alive. The irksome Ze Zombeths of Ze Zombeth of Zom. B. E. continue to threaten me for no real reason, besides an old grudge from the pointless Demon conflict. I suppose im well liked. In any case, they have their heads in the clouds thinking they are the ones responsible for all of this damage in EG.

4/12/07 Update: The STARS have gone to fight for Pole Mall, things are not going well for Pole, Mall Tour 07 has ravaged the quiet mall, the STARS plan to follow the Tour to Belesy Mall soon.

Old Battles

• The Forum Takeover (The forum)

After being fed up with rising tentsion between STARS and the DHPD, Rowan Mayfair, and Mayor Fitting with the help of Blackzilla1 seized control of the forum. Once control was seized, Chris Hollis, also an admin logged on. He banned Rowan Mayfair (who many knew as g4361 once upon a time), who was then unbanned by Mayor Fititng. Rowan Mayfair then banned Chris Hollis. During the intense battle of the admins, a few things got caught in the crossfire. The Cops's user account was deleted as was Serge's. The war room section also got it. Every IP adress on the ban list was taken off as well, allowing the temporary return of the infamous Mayor Ruffel. After Aran said he would delete the whole forum, intense negotiations started in an AIM chat room. After agreements were reached, Rowan Mayfair left, and blackzilla got banned. Mayor Fitting is still in STARS, but has been stripped of rank and command, due to his aid in regaining control of the forums. After immense chaos, the forums were deleted, leaving one, empty forum room. - The fourms are now undercontrol, with all plans backed up because Chris Hollis and new admin Aran are so awesome!

-Casulties: The War Room, Cop's username, Serge's username, Aran's username, g4361(kicked from group), blackzilla1's username(bannished), Cop's 2k+ posts, and the whole damn forum.

• The Penny Heights Strike (Penny Heights):

When Mayor Fitting went to Penny Heights to re-supply he discoverd a PH HQ. He was soon joined by g4361, Latyon, Serge222 and Pvt. Shickelgruber. Over a period of three days they inflicted over 20 casulties on the PH, forcing them to flee the suburb. The only STARS loss was the Pvt, after the fall back began.

• The Crang Building Assult (Tapton):

Chris Hollis, Mushroom Blue, and Johnathan 117 were on a routine seach and rearm mission, they soon set up a temporary base of operations inthe nice and quaint Crang Building. Within the next day, a horde of 3 zombies broke into the safehouse causing mass pandemoieum. Johnathan 117 bravely gave his life, while STARS God Chris Hollis killed the zombies. Chris then re-barricaded the Crang, and retreat to an undisclosed postion for rest.

• The Assassination at Julie General (Wyke Hills):

Mushroom Blue, tracking down the scattered and disorganized PH Remnant, found the PH's leader: Dolordebarriga. Using the limited supply of ammo he had, Mushroom pummeled the PH's leader with shot after shot. Recieving aid from Johnathan 117 to take the final shot, Mushroom took down the PH leader. Knowing he would not have the time or strength to get back to a safe zone, Mushroom Blue jumped to his death from a nearby building, rather dying by his own hand than letting the PH find and kill him. Now, the PH have been weakened even more, and besides the other leader Churretas, our primary targets are PH radicals Popeye Paul 3 and PHerez.

• Pole Mall Massacre (West Grayside):

Reports and rumors had been circulating of an increasingly large concentration of zombies outside the Pole Mall, a local supply hub for survivors. Then, the unthinkable occured: the undead broke through the barriers into the Mall, feasting on the survivors inside. Mushroom Blue quickly raced to the aid of the Mall and did what he could with his short ammo supply. Eventually, he was forced to leave, getting out a horrifically wounded and disease ridden Johnathan 117 in the nick of time. Chris Hollis, who had also responded to the calls for help, helped all he could before escaping brutally injured and infected. The S.T.A.R.S. are currently planning a counter-offensive to help the survivors retake the Mall and clear all of the zombies out.

• Operation Silenus (Spicer Hills):

Chris Hollis Led a group of three into Spicer Hills to save our closet allies the NTCS. Hollis was ordered to heal and revive any allies who needed it. Hollis obeyed, and also killed zombies that got in his way. Meinstorm and Johnathan 117 did their part aswell, healing the NTCS and other civilians in the Spicer Hills area. All in all the only confrintation with the RRF was when Hollis needed to kill a few in a break in in North Spicer Hills. A very easy mission, but an important one to say the least.

• PH Strike (Wray Heights):

This was the first wave of attacks to hit Wray Heights and the clan PH. The S.T.A.R.S killed at least 5 people, with the NTCS and EGW coming in different waves. Chris Hollis and Mushroom Blue led an assult on PH's main base St. PolyCarps and declared war. A brief firefight occured, and the PH clan members inside were killed. Stephen Wolfe led an attack into the hospital nearby, killing one and badly wounding another, and Aran Helix led a force into PH's Revive point. Many PH members were severly injured in the attack, more attacks will slowly occur over the next few days, and possibly weeks.

   * Whittenside Strike (Whittenside): 

A major assault occured at the Armoury in Whittenside on February 18, in which 9-10 zombies attacked the S.T.A.R.S. secondary base of operations. Mushroom Blue was on a routine mission when he informed Chris Hollis of the attack. Chris quickly ran over the armoury to help stop the oncoming attack. After killing one of the attackers, and barricadeing the armoury, he soon realized that he could no longer help, as he watched his leader fall. Stephen Wolfe elected to stay and fight the rising horde of zombies, and was eventually killed.

   * The Witchell Street War (East Grayside): 

The greatest battle the S.T.A.R.S. have ever fought. Stephen Wolfe, on a routine recon mission, went outside and found a horde of zombies outside the Witchell Street Police Department. He managed to kill one and severely wound another, but he was attacked, infected, and badly hurt. He freeran back inside the PD and found that the barricades (which had been extremely heavy only seconds ago) had been almost completely destroyed. Though the infection was destroying him with every move he made, he stood and got them back to Very Strong. However, two zombies managed to get in and attack him. Chris Hollis was infected, as well. On the brink of death and helpless to stop the assault, the two freeran into nearby Gerard Crescent Police Department, to barricade and warn the survivors inside. Stephen Wolfe was then healed by Pvt Strum and Wardog117, saving him from near death.

   * Assault on Club Tinney (Wray Heights)- 1/22/06 

During an attempt to save a member in need, Stephen Wolfe went into Wray Heights. Not realizing the enormous threat that loomed on him, he was soon engaged in a rescue attempt. When things became worse he called for backup. Aran Helix, Mushroom Blue, and Johnathan 117 responded. They are going back to East Greyside on the 23rd.

   * Battle for Binning Way (East Grayside)- 1/23/06 

Group members Aran Helix and Stephen Wolfe were completing routine maintenance when a massive horde of the undead destroyed the barricades. The two fought heroically, but were forced to retreat to the Wensleydale building. Those inside were slaughtered.
