Description

Maltonhospitals.PNG

St. Anacletus's Hospital is a hospital located in the suburb of Dulston. Prior to the "Malton Incident" St. Anacletus's Hospital had been devoted solely to patient-oriented research since its founding in 1915. Since 1997 the hospital received substantial support from the Neo Genetic Clinical Research (NGCR) Program, a secretive, but well-funded, program initiated by none other than NecroTech Industries in their efforts to facilitate testing for certain new bio-therapy techniques and anti-viral serums.

The NGCR Program supported a inter-city network of hospitals throughout Malton that in turn provided research data to NecroTech Industries from various voluntary test subjects (i.e. trial groups) that mostly consisted of terminally-ill patients. While initial results showed a marked decrease in the spread of viral agents through the subjects, and in a few cases malignant cancer growths becoming benign, there were still those doctors that speculated that the medical procedures were unethical and the directors of the involved hospitals had each been paid large sums of money for passing the NGCR Program through review as quickly and quietly as possible.

The Dulston Infection Treatment and Prevention Squad (DITPS) has assumed control of the hospital and intends to keep both a fueled generator and radio transmitter running at all times. Anyone in the area that requires medical assistance is welcome to visit. Injured survivors arriving at the hospital will find that active members of the D.I.T.P.S act immediately in providing assistance.

Since August 2008 the Angry Vaginas have assumed control of the hospital and intends to keep it ruined at all times.

Mandate

The staff at St. Anacletus's Hospital try to always support the following ideals:

  1. To provide medical assistance to anyone and everyone who enters.
  2. To cure the infected.
  3. To keep its doors open to lower level survivors, if possible.

It is asked that survivors please note whether or not there is a portable generator within the hospital, and whether it has fuel or not. As a working portable generator is required for the Surgery skill it is asked the survivors provide support by replacing either the generator when destroyed or refilling its fuel supply when its exhausted. This in turn will allow the medical staff to provide more efficient aid to the injured.

Barricade Policy

This building must never be more than Very Strongly (VS+2) barricaded. This barricade level has been set forth in the Dulston Optimal Defense Diagram, a strategic barricade policy that is enforced by all member groups of the Dulston Alliance. As a hospital it is important that every effort be made to keep an "open door" policy (VS+2 barricades) so that lower level survivors can find the medical aid they need. Visitors are requested to never barricade beyond Very Strongly unless the building is currently under siege from 5 or more zombies. Note that any survivors associated with the Dulston Alliance have the right to lower the barricades back to Very Strongly if they discover them raised higher without just cause.

As the hospital is also maintained by the Dulston Infection Treatment and Prevention Squad (DITPS), a member group of the Dulston Alliance, they support this decision as it is in accordance with their own policy to allow survivors without Free Running safety and medical aid.

Current Events

November 20th, 2013 - Repaired it and caded to VSB+2, needs a gennie--Colby Roberson

April 7th, 2010 - The D.I.T.P.S reported St.Anacletus's Hospital had been breached. D.I.T.P.S security guard, Calcyon was on the scene, having ejected the zombified Tony Loop and raised the barricades back up to VSB+2. However there were still 3 zombies still inside at this time. --Mobius

Update: D.I.T.P.S Security Captain, Rotten Ray arrived and killed another one of the zombies and dumped its corpse. Along with the assistance of other survivors the hospital has been cleared of hostile zombies. --Mobius

March 13th, 2010 - Rotten Ray, the D.I.T.P.S Security Captain, reported that the hospital was secure and Very Strongly (VSB++) barricaded. --Mobius

December 22nd, 2008 - St. Anacletus's Hospital was overrun by zombies. Exact numbers are unclear at this time.

December 15th, 2008 - Deathwire, the D.I.T.P.S Chief of Staff for Anne General Hospital, had this to say, "I am not amused". In other news, the hospital was breached by zombies, but they were repelled and the building Extremely Heavily barricaded again. There are 4 zombies standing outside... as Deathwire very well knows.

December 13th, 2008 - Rotten Ray, of the D.I.T.P.S, headed an initiative to reclaim the hospital from the zombie menace. At this time he reports that only a single badly injured zombie (12 HP) remains inside the ruined hospital. The hospital has taken some damage, but repairs would be minimal at this stage (3 AP). Of course the D.I.T.P.S would need to re-secure the hospital first...

December 12th, 2008 - Rotten Ray, of the D.I.T.P.S, reported that the hospital was recently ruined (only 2 AP to repair) with 6 zombies inside and no survivors. Outside the hospital there were 2 more zombies, along with 9 bodies, one of which was reviving.

December 11th, 2008 - Metal Fox recon reported that St. Anacletus's Hospital had finally fallen to the undead scourge. There were 5 zombies inside the hospital, and 2 survivors who were being eaten alive. Chances looked very slim that they would manage to survive for long.

December 10th, 2008 - Deathwire, the D.I.T.P.S Chief of Staff for Anne General Hospital, was nowhere in sight. Which may have had something to do with the fact that he was over at St. Mark's Hospital in Rhodenbank, lording over everyone there and proclaiming himself the hospital's new ruler. With that said, Major Azzhole of Metal Fox reported that the hospital was Extremely Heavily barricaded, with a handful of survivors inside. His comment to Deathwire, "You could come rule here legitimately." Of course he did mention there were 8 zombies outside and another 1 zombie inside...

December 2nd, 2008 - Dead vs Blue recon confirmed that the hospital was still standing and in survivor hands. Survivors seeking medical aid were instructed to make their way to the hospital so that the D.I.T.P.S could tend to the wounded.

Update: Metal Fox recon reported that there were 8 zombies outside of St. Anacletus's Hospital. It's believed that these zombies may have been the very same zombies that had previously been attacking the Bridgman Building. Of course the Bridgman facility had fallen today, which would explain why they are here now.

December 1st, 2008 - Rotten Ray, of the D.I.T.P.S, has reported that the hospital is in survivor hands. At this time it is Heavily barricaded, but it's unclear whether the building has power or not. Like many other buildings throughout Dulston, survivors continue to work towards recovering from the attack by the Militant Order of Barhah. The hospital continues to be a hotbed of zombie activity, even though the MoB has long since departed, in part due to feral zombies local to the area and possibly grudges against the D.I.T.P.S who claim ownership the building.

November 30th, 2008 - Metal Fox recon reported that the hospital was still in ruins, but now there were no zombies at all inside the building.

November 21st, 2008 - D.I.T.P.S (zombie) recon reported that the hospital was in ruins, but with only one zombie inside the hospital. There were no zombies outside.

November 15th, 2008 - After spotting the hospital with its doors open I closed it up and barricaded up to EHB. There's a couple of survivors inside, but it needs a powered generator and more reinforcements to hold it up. So far so good.

November 12th, 2008 - Zombies have overrun the hospital.

October 24th, 2008 - D.I.T.P.S reported that there was a breach, during which 10 zombies managed to get inside the hospital. The battle was fierce, but in the end the zombies were defeated and the building re-barricaded. The barricades though are still not in prime condition, so survivors inside the hospital are reminded to keep a close eye on them.

October 10th, 2008 - A minor breach was reported as 2 zombies managed to get inside. Members of the D.I.T.P.S and Bounty Hunters Unltd. were present though to fend-off the attack.

October 8th, 2008 - Zerta from Bounty Hunters Unltd. reported that the hospital was Extremely Heavily barricaded. Zombies were reported to be outside, due mostly to the fact that the barricades have been attacked rather than any knowledge of their exact numbers.

October 2nd, 2008 - D.I.T.P.S reported that St. Anacletus's Hospital was Extremely Heavily barricaded, with a handful of survivors inside and about 10 zombies outside. Not the best combination.

October 1st, 2008 - Yet another break-in attempt. This one is still in-progress, with the zombies striking at the very heart of the hospital... namely the D.I.T.P.S. At this time reports indicate both Deathwire and Arrowsmith were eaten. No doubt the very same zombies will die soon as both men were poisoned by coffee they drank earlier in the day. We're not sure by whom... but regardless there are still 2 zombies inside the building.

Update: Deathwire had this to say, "I stood up, slapped around Rjjk a bit, and then scuttled over to Duport for a nap."

September 30th, 2008 - Another break-in attempt by those gosh-darn zombies. One got inside, but was quickly killed and dumped. The barricades have been restored to Very Strongly.

September 29th, 2008 - Zombies have tried their hand at overruning the hospital, but their weak attempts have so far failed. At this time the hospital is Very Strongly barricaded and powered. The D.I.T.P.S encourage survivors to drop by and get their FAKs while they're still available.

September 25th, 2008 - Victory! The zombie who ruined the hospital have been killed and their corpses dumped into the streets. The building has been Extremely Heavily barricaded in an effort to hold it until more survivors arrive.

September 22nd, 2008 - St. Anacletus Hospital has been reported as completely empty. No zombies inside or outside. No survivors either... yet. The D.I.T.P.S recon unit was quick to reclaim the hospital for the greater good.

Update: News spreads quickly. The hospital has been ruined again.

September 9th, 2008 - Metal Fox recon reported that the hospital was Extremely Heavily barricaded.

Update: St. Anacletus's is wide open with 8 zombies inside. There are also 4 bodies, among them Deathwire, the D.I.T.P.S Chief of Staff from Anne General Hospital, and DarthKnight.

September 3rd, 2008 - The zombies have been evicted again and a lone survivor, Tigress, managed to Very Strongly barricade the hospital. At this time there is no power.

September 2nd, 2008 - So much for that idea. The hospital has been overrun after its brief liberation from the zombie menace.

September 1st, 2008 - A recon report from D.I.T.P.S indicated that there was 1 zombie (@15HP, and no Flak Jacket) still inside the hospital. Also, when the zombie mob left to attack the "Fortress of Science" D.I.T.P.S managed to QSB the building.

Update: The hospital has been Extremely Heavily barricaded, with members of D.I.T.P.S and handful of local survivors holding the building.

August 30th, 2008 - Just in case someone didn't get the memo, the hospital has been overrun and ruined. At this time there are 21 zombies inside.

August 29th, 2008 - In classic tit-for-tat warfare, Major Azzhole of FOXHOUND was killed by Janine Eelms of Hel's Daughters, who in turn was killed by Deathwire of D.I.T.P.S. When asked, Deathwire had this to say, "Nobody shoots me in my hospital, stays there, and doesn't get shot back with a somewhat witty retort."

August 26th, 2008 - Horror of horrors! There was a breakin at the hospital. So far only one zombie has managed to get inside so far.

August 21st, 2008 - Same complaint as last time. Stop the over-barricading! People are risking their lives to keep those revive point lines moving and they're coming back to find themselves locked out. Not to mention the inexperienced survivors trying to get in off the streets. Let's be nice to everyone and only raise the barricades when the hospital is sieged.

August 17th, 2008 - The D.I.T.P.S would like to remind all survivors staying at St. Anacletus's that barricade policy requires that all survivors have access into and out of the building. Over-barricading defeats that goal and annoys people, especially those staff members who head outside to revive undead survivors at the local revive point only to find they've been locked out on their return. Bad form people, bad form.

August 13th, 2008 - Rotten Ray of the D.I.T.P.S brought down swift justice on the small-time hoodlum Walter Quimbury. Of course, where is justice without witty banter before sentencing?

June 25th, 2008 - A deranged killer and ex-D.I.T.P.S member gone rogue, Perzeus, sneaked into the hospital. After his bold and cold-blooded murder of Deathwire, D.I.T.P.S co-leader, in Anne General, Perzeus turned to his former workplace and killed the other D.I.T.P.S leader Flyte. There's no telling how many more murders this madman will commit until his thirst for blood is satisfied. All D.I.T.P.S members beware! -- Kittithaj 18:04, 25 June 2008 (BST)

February 19th, 2008 - With the decline of zombie presence within the area, the hospital has now been restored and seems to be a beacon of hope in the devastated Dulstonian area.

February 9th, 2008 - There has been a break in!!!!! The Second Big Bash has brought death and the spirit of Barhah into yet another survivor stronghold.

December 19th, 2007 - Kikashie of the Electric Light Torchestra reported a break-in at the hospital by ferals and zombies from the Militant Order of Barhah. His eyewitness report provided further details as to the attack, along with mention of 10 zombies outside.

December 18th, 2007 - The hospital has been retaken in a daring act by a small team of survivors, fighting for the Greater Good. Though with its defenses risen, and members of D.I.T.P.S, ELT, and Foxhound occupying the building, there is still a threat, yet small, outside. But Dulston can be assured that St. A will be kept in survivors' hands. --soberdoc 00:53, 18 December, 2007 (GMT)

December 15th 2007 - The hospital has been breached. Barricades are being destroyed faster than they can be erected and there are currently 27 zombies inside the building. Retreating to Treweeke Mall. --Dr Ernesto Guevara 09:35, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

December 11th, 2007 - Two months on and everything is fine. Barricades at VS. About thirty survivors in here. People providing healing to PKer's as long as they abide by our rules - don't kill us! St. Anna's has requested help, and i believe we should respond in force. - Onestraw

The D.I.T.P.S would like to remind everyone at this time that it is not our policy to heal PKers as they tend to harm the general populace of the North Corner rather than benefit it and do not contribute to the Greater Good. --Deathwire 20:43, 12 December 2007 (EST)

September 11th, 2007 - At this time the hospital is holding strong with DITPS staff caring for the injured and infected. Security staff have continued to provide protection from the random wandering zombies in the area, but with no zombies outside and only 10 zombies in the area the building is not being threatened. This has allowed Dulston Alliance personnel to concentrate their efforts on reclaiming other local buildings using the hospital as one of their staging grounds.

August 29th, 2007 - Zombie attacks throughout Dulston by LUE and some other small zombie groups led to the hospital being overrun, but as of this day the building has been re-secured and powered. DITPS plans to hold out against whatever the zombies might throw at them.

August 25th, 2007 - With zombies still inside the barricades did not manage to hold out and now 25 zombies stand inside the hospital. Survivors casualties continue to mount with most, if not every, DITPS member stationed at the building already dead. Truly a grim day for the medical staff at St. Anacletus'.

August 24th, 2007 - The barricades have collapsed and 16 zombies have shuffled into the hospital! Reports of several D.I.T.P.S members being among the initial attack's casualties have been confirmed, but there are still survivors in the building.

August 23rd, 2007 - There was a minor break-in today as 3 zombies tore through the barricades and attacked the hospital's survivors. Scouts report though that this is only the tip of the iceberg as 30+ zombies have been spotted gathering outside.

August 20th, 2007 - During the morning 4 zombies broke into the hospital and caused a bit of a scuffle in the lobby. Eventually the zombies were evicted in the usual manner, but from the trouble brewing in Dulston it is doubtful they will be gone for long.

May 2nd, 2007 - Dulston Destruction Tour is planning to ransack this building!

March 23rd, 2007 - The Dulston Infection Treatment and Prevention Squad has expanded operations and is now staffing the hospital. Staff will work to maintain power and communications, and wounded and infected survivors will find medical staff ready to aid them.

March 22nd, 2007 - A survivor reported that a zombie has managed to break into the building. So far the zombie has not yet attacked anyone so it is unclear whether it is just waiting or whether it is seeking revival (as it does not have Brain Rot).

November 15th, 2006 - Members of DORIS persist in their claims of controlling all Dulston. Taking a page straight from Conquerors 101 DORIS has instigated a policy whereby local buildings and streets throughout the suburb have been renamed by their group, in this case, the hospital is now known as the Sirens Psychiatric Hospital as far as DORIS is concerned.

June 14th-15th, 2006 - More Z!ng, Z!ng from the Shamblin' Crooners. Will the doctors and nurses at St. Anacletus's Hospital ever be able to get enough? Probably, but the Shamblin' Crooners keep on dishing out the tunes.

May 26th-27th, 2006 - After their initial warm welcome and success here 2 months ago the Shamblin' Crooners finally had time to make a return performance geared towards satisfying all their fans who still hungered for more Z!ng, Z!ng by staging a 2-day concert. Again, the only fatalities were all good natured ones.

March 27th, 2006 - The Shamblin' Crooners made their usual grand entrance and entertained everyone inside with their famous "break-in & concert" style of zombie rock. Some humans were eaten. Some zombies were shot. Bottom line, everyone had fun. Rock on Crooners, rock on...

November 3rd-14th, 2005 - The Drunken Dead, alongside the Bela Lugosi Fan Klub, finally breached the hospitals' barricades for the last time and began to eat every human inside. Finally, alcohol had been located, and it explained (to the zombies) the fierce and relentless defense mounted by the humans over the last 11 days. The Drunken Dead celebrated and resolved to march onto the nearby NecroTech buildings with their new zombie friends.
