Description

Fer copy.png
St. Ferreol's Hospital is a tall concrete building surrounded by a large paved plaza with dark corridors leading through abandoned wards. It is one of six hospitals located in Kempsterbank.

The first building on the site of present-day St. Ferreol's Hospital was erected as a warehouse in 1912. The warehouse was plagued with a series of unfortunate events, finally burning to the ground and killing six people in 1948. The lot sat empty until the mid-1970s, when the city council decided to build a hospital on the site after receiving many complaints that the empty lot was an eyesore.

The beautiful modern structure that went up on the site was christened St. Ferreol's Hospital when its cornerstone was laid in 1978. The hospital served the people of Kempsterbank up until the city of Malton was quarantined in 2005; it then sat abandoned until mid-2008, when tenants of a much different type moved in.

Barricading Policy

In accordance with the Kempsterbank Barricade Plan, this site is to be kept at Extremely Heavily Barricaded (EHB+4). For those with the free running skill, entry is via Nunn Row Fire Station.

History

The St. Ferreol's Hospital Noise Abatement Society, a zombie group, formed in mid-August 2008 with the intention of tearing down the barricades, eating the harmanz inside, and ruining the building. Barhah!
