What's New?

January 24, 2008 - Map changed so Cabell Arms is in blue, for EHB, as it has been taken off the list of Entry Points, below. --Dan Everyman 00:19, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

September 20, 2007 - Forse Walk School changed to an entry point due to it's close proximity to Yeoman Park and Went NT. --Uncle Bill 07:04, 21 September 2007 (BST)

May 22, 2007 - Moseley changed (again) to WO/powered. --Uncle Bill 01:50, 23 May 2007 (BST)

May 6, 2007 - Moseley NT changed back to EHB/powered. --Uncle Bill 03:40, 7 May 2007 (BST)

April 4, 2007 - Nichols Mall is back online, and with it comes the reopening of the Rotter's Relief clinic at Moseley NT. Please observe the change in barricade plan and try to leave this building open but unransacked. --Uncle Bill 04:11, 6 April 2007 (BST)

March 15, 2007 - Anstruther Alley (59, 54) is currently overrun with rotters. For revives please go to Yeoman Park (58, 55) or Maxwell Walk (56, 54). Yeoman park MAY become a permanant revive point, and Anstruther Alley removed, after this tour buisness is over with. Or maybe we could just all support Maxwell Walk. It remains to be discussed. Benigno SSZ RCC 23:33, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Yeoman Park is now the supported revive point. --Benigno SSZ RCC 19:53, 5 April 2007 (BST)

March 12, 2007 - The Mall Tour is in town; please suspend normal RR operations at Moseley and barricade to EHB until the Tour moves on. Also, changed Stribling Library back to an entry point. --Uncle Bill 10:42, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

January 26, 2007 - The threat level for Moseley is back to normal. Please leave the building open, and if possible powered. Brain Rotters are reminded not to eat the generator while waiting for revives.

January 25, 2007 - Barricade plan for Moseley temporarally raised to EHB following several days of the building being ransackd. Once it's back to EHB and powered, and everyone has had a chance to restock on syringes, we'll try going back to open/powered.

January 20, 2007 - Important update to the Moseley NT Building

The barricade plan for Moseley NT has been modified to accommodate the new revive clinic operated by Rotter's_Relief. During normal operations, this building is to remain powered, unbarricaded, and unransacked. If you are a zombie suffering from brain rot and would like to rejoin the living, please see the group's wiki page for details on how to request a revive.

Because of Moseley's strategic value to Nichols Mall and the rest of the suburb, the following special conditions will be in effect:

During an emergency, Rotter's Relief has agreed to suspend operations. During these times, the barricades will be maintained at EHB. Such an emergency could include:

  • Nichols Mall under zombie control
  • The Went NT under zombie control for more than 48 hours
  • As necessary to protect Moseley NT itself, for instance if the building is repeatedly ransacked or the generator repeatedly destroyed.

Please keep in mind that as a brain rot clinic, there are likely to be zombies inside wishing for revives. As long as these zombies actually have brain rot and they don't attack anyone please leave them alone. Anyone else wanting revives should go to another established revive point such as Maxwell Walk.

1 January 2006 - Stribling Library has been temporarily raised to EHB.

29 December - The entry points between Nichols Mall and the revive point at Maxwell Walk are often overbarricaded, especially while the mall is contested or in undead hands. Please try not to over barricade these locations, and use one of the many EHB designated buildings as a safe house. While most of us never need to leave the free run lanes, entry points are critical for revivers and the recently revived.

13 December - After a very long wait, the Stanbury Village Barricade Plan has received a much needed face lift. The new plan brings the suburb into compliance with the Uniform Barricading Policy and make the suburb more defensible as a whole. Under the old plan, nearly every building was barricaded to EHB. Not only does this policy prevent revivers from re-entering the free running lanes, but it is nearly impossible to implement.

Logic behind the plan

The uniform barricade plan draws heavilly from the concept of distributed defense. Simply put, resource buildings like malls, NT buildings, police departments, and hospitals are obvious targets for attacking zombies and thus are poor choices as safehouses. By encouraging the populace to spread out and only visit resource buildings while actively playing, attacking zombies should score fewer kills per break in.

So why not just make every building EHB? For starters, personnel managing revive points (as well as the newly revived) need a place to re-enter the free running lanes. Lower level players also need a reasonable expectation that certain places will be enterable. This includes the basics (PD's and Hospitals), but also non-resource building safehouses that they can get into.

Entry Points

The following blocks in Stanbury Village are Designated as either entryways or Tactical Resource Points, and should never be barricaded higher than "Very Strongly Barricaded" (VSB):

Please note that Necrotech (NT) buildings should be barricaded to EHB, but are located near entry points.

Other VSB buildings:
