Survivors are slowly reclaiming the suburb. Humans now outnumber zombies. A small number of resource buildings remain in zombie hands, with very high repair costs. Lights are just starting to come back on in a few places. Jenkem (talk) 17:26, 17 December 2021 (UTC)

October

October 5, 2021

After months of calm, Starlingtown has been sacked by a large zombie horde, including members of the Dead. All resource buildings are ruined and occupied, in most instance by multiple zombies. Almost all non-resources buildings are also ruined, and most are occupied by one or two zombies. Jenkem (talk) 16:58, 5 October 2021 (UTC)

Starlingtown remains totally green, as it has for months now. Lights on everywhere, hardly any zombies to be seen. Survivors can likely sleep outside without being eaten. --Jenkem 22:22, 5 December 2011 (UTC)

August

August 11th

Many radio's have been established in the suburb for the reporting of the status of the buildings. There have been almost no break-in's for more than a week now, and those break-in's that did occur were quickly repelled by local resistance groups and survivors that were living in those buildings. Rebuilding of several dark and ruined buildings is slowly taking place, as the suburb looks forward after the recent horde. --Lloonnee2 11:56, 11 August 2011 (BST)

August 4th

The town is now in good hands after substantial effort from the South Paynerton Aces and the Grey Swords. Almost no buildings ruined, few zombies, no organized groups. Revive points are open and waiting, so hurry over if you need a needle!--Lloonnee2 13:38, 4 August 2011 (BST)

July

July 24th

Survivors are slowly reclaiming this suburb. Cades are coming up, but you won't see many lights on here and there are still plenty of break-ins. Survivors need generators in the hospitals and NTs. Revive queues are short. --Jenkem 20:25, 24 July 2011 (BST)

There is sporadic fighting in the vicinity of the Veryard building. Zombies are occasionally getting inside, but the survivors are holding on and the rest of the suburb is safe for human habitation. Starlingtown status remains green. --Jenkem 21:50, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

The suburb is almost totally safe. All the resource buildings are lit, as are many of the non-resource buildings. The rotter revive point in the north is functional. December

December 20th

So much for Starlingtown being a safe suburb for survivors. I decided to lay my head down (after several drinks) at the Woolven Hotel, and woke up...dead. Just about every building is a total disaster. For what it's worth, I don't see massive hoards of zombies. But, the dozen or so who broke into the Hotel were enough. Definitely not a place to visit, unless you like killing zeds. Roberto Tomba 20:24, 20 December 2010 (EST)

November

November 25th

Starlingtown is now a green suburb, safe for survivors. Break-ins are almost non-existent and revive queues are extremely short. The most annoying thing is the occasional generator-killing in some of the resource buildings. --Jenkem 19:04, 25 November 2010 (UTC)

November 16th

After a month and a half of struggle, Starlingtown is finally turning decisively in favor of the survivors. The key resource buildings are all barricaded and lit, and break-ins are no longer a daily thing in the hospitals. Revive queues are short. The Mall in Pitneybank continues to have trouble staying repaired, and that does have an impact on Starlingtown. Overall, however, Starlingtown's now a pretty safe place for survivors. --Jenkem 18:19, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

October

October 4th

This place is toast. The MOB moves on. -- Grogh 00:39, 5 October 2010 (BST)

October 3rd

The Militant Order of Barhah is attacking both Veryard and Casely NTs. At this time both are open and unlit, and groans are emanating loudly from each. In both cases the number of zombies inside is greater than the number of breathers. Time is short for those with a pulse. --Grogh 01:25, 3 October 2010 (BST)

October 2nd

Starlingtown is now quite dangerous indeed. The zombies ruined Brendan General Hospital, and now a pitched battle is in progress for control of the Veryard NT building. Currently there are 10 zombies and over 70 survivors inside. The generator's been knocked out, and it remains to be seen whether the survivors possess the ammunition and fortitude to expel the zombies. Jenkem 19:51, 2 October 2010 (BST)

October 1st

There is a large break-in going on at Brendan General Hospital [90, 45]. It seems likely that the zombies will triumph over the survivors inside. This could be an early indicator of the MOB's imminent arrival in the suburb. If that turns out to be the case, expect all of Starlingtown to experience increasingly frequent break-ins over the next couple days, followed by a complete collapse of the entire suburb. Danger level upgraded to "moderately dangerous". -- Jenkem 22:44, 1 October 2010 (BST)

September

September 27th

Starlingtown is still totally safe for survivors. I just completed a 40 AP sleep outside in the streets, and didn't get a scratch. St. Alban's Hospital [96, 46] continues to be a VSB+2 safe haven for non-freerunners. -- Jenkem 23:34, 27 September 2010 (BST)

September 20th

Starlingtown remains one of the safest places in Malton right now. The continuing attacks on Giddings Mall in Pitneybank are making it harder for Starlingtown survivors to find ammo and install radios, but the Starlingtown buildings themselves are in great shape. Resident survivor group South Paynterton Aces are keeping The Casely Building [93, 40] open as a rot revive clinic. Per the barricade plan, they are now also keeping St. Alban's Hospital [96, 46] at VSB+2 to assist new survivors in this often-overbarricaded surburb. --Jenkem 17:10, 20 September 2010 (BST)

September 18th

The South Paynterton Aces declared The Casely Building as a Rotters Revive Clinic, setting it as a permanent non-caded and powered revive point for Brain Rot zombies. You can check it at the Active Brain Rot Revive Clinics section --Cantero 19:13, 18 September 2010 (GMT +1)

September 12th

Starlingtown has been fully restored. There are occasional break-ins at the Veryard Building, but they are quickly dealt with. Lights are on and barricades are up across the suburb. Revive queues are short or non-existent. -- Jenkem 20:45, 12 September 2010 (PST)

Of note, over in Paynterton there were 4 zombies at a junkyard, while in Spracklingbank there were 3 zombies at the Pepperd Museum. The remaining detected zombies, which were alone or in pairs, were located mostly north of the facility. --Mobius

The suburb is starting to come back online following the devastation of the MOB's attack. Most buildings are now barricaded, but ruins still dot the suburb and break-ins of resource buildings are frequent. November 25th

Zombies from the Militant Order of Barhah have entered Starlingtown. Break-ins at resource buildings have begun and the revive points are already starting to feel the pressure. Recommend low-level survivors and newcomers avoid Starlingtown for now. --Jenkem 13:46, 25 November (PST)

Total madness and wild partying of the worst sort spill out into the streets. A pair of nude lesbian undead took turns smashing sound equipment at Club Sweeny between sessions of making out over the wreckage. This reporter barely escaped with his drink intact when I was caught up in a rush of dozen tourists eager to see a late night screening of Encino Man at Tidd Cinema. December

  • December 5th, 2008: All buildings in Starlingtown now have their own danger report on the Wiki. The official description for each building and monument have also been added. -- Stahl 22:13, 5 December 2008 (GMT)

November

  • November 16th, 2008: Rebuilding efforts have been largely successful. The core is now caded and lit, and the revive points are functioning nicely. -- Jenkem 04:56, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
  • November 8th, 2008: Plenty of ruined buildings, but more survivors than zombies. many of the centeral buildings are lit, and at EHB. I'm going to take tis suburbs danger report down to dangerous. -- Angusburger 07:30, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
  • November 3rd, 2008: Almost every building in the suburb is ruined, although there are not more than a few dozen active zombies around. Survivor efforts to rebuild are underway, but it will be several days before the core area around Veryard NT is stable again. -- Jenkem 13:19, 03 November (UTC)

October

  • October 31th, 2008: There is a mob of 13 zombies in The Veryard Building. I'm pretty sure they are not here to do any trick-or-treating. Also, a quick scout shows the safety of the suburb is deteriorating rapidly, so I'm changing the danger level to Dangerous. -- Ωmega360 Small septagon.gifT 11:56, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
  • October 29th, 2008: The situation in Starlingtown has begun to deteriorate. A handful of zombies from the ruined southeast have found their way up to the suburb. The southern part of Starlingtown is battered, and the zombies are now besieging the core area around Veryard NT. Currently, Flower Walk Fire Station and St. Alban's Hospital are in ruins, and the factory between them has lost power. -- Jenkem 13:09, 29 October (UTC)
  • October 24th, 2008: Starlingtown remains remarkably safe, though probably not the kind of place where you'd want to sleep outside. There are occasional break-ins at Flower Walk Fire Station, but these are occurring no more frequently than usual. The core buildings around Veryard NT are all caded and lit, and the South Paynterton Aces have their radios up and running at 28.28 MHz. Revive queues at Imber Square and the North Cemetery are so short as to be non-existent. -- Jenkem 16:05, 24 October (UTC)
  • October 4th, 2008: At least 12 zombies on the streets, although 3 of those appear to be Mrh? cows. 4 of the 7 Tactical Resource Points are powered (the NTs and the PDs), leaving the single auto repair and the two factories without power. Without any ruination, there's little evidence that the small number of zombies are having any success with break-ins, so leaving this as Safe for the time being. -- Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 17:26, 4 October 2008 (BST)

  • September 23rd, 2008: Things have been nice and quiet in Starlingtown, an occasional break in by usual suspects, otherwise, noting of any great importance going on. -- EzriSun 00:48, 24 September 2008 (BST)

August

  • August 20th, 2008: After a rough month for survivors in Starlingtown, the suburb is finally returning to a semblance of normalcy. Cades are up and lights are on in most of the important buildings, as well as some of the non-essential buildings. Low-level break-ins remain a concern, but they're nothing the survivors can't handle. Danger level downgraded to "moderate." -- Jenkem 09:17, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
  • August 6th, 2008: External Military:"... flying over Starlingtown, can see maybe fifty on the streets ... mostly just stragglers, no organised groups ... no lights on down there ... the whole suburb's wrecked ... the Veryard Building is in bad shape ..." -- Lt Jon McClane 17:51, 6 August 2008 (BST)
  • August 5th, 2008: External Military: "... flying over Starlingtown, can see maybe fifty on the streets ... mostly just stragglers, no organised groups ... no lights on down there ... the whole suburb's wrecked ... the Veryard Building is in bad shape ..." -- Laitaine 03:10, 6 August 2008 (BST)
  • August 3rd, 2008: External Military: "... flying over Starlingtown, can see maybe fifty on the streets ... mostly just stragglers, no organised groups ... no lights on down there ... the whole suburb's wrecked ..." -- Laitaine 19:26, 3 August 2008 (BST)
  • August 1st, 2008: 25.96 MHz: "... leaving Starlingtown, counted about sixty outside ... all stragglers, no groups ... can't see any signs of life ... most of the buildings are ruined ..."

July

  • July 28th, 2008: After recent requests solicited no response, the following group links have been removed from the suburb.

If any of these groups are still active, please add them again. -- RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 12:13, 28 July 2008 (BST)

  • July 13th, 2008: External Military: "... thirty or so in Starlingtown ... mostly just stragglers, no organised groups ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... some minor structural damage ..." -- Laitaine 06:07, 13 July 2008 (BST)
  • July 4th, 2008: There are several break ins due to an increased zombie population and low survivor poplulation in the area, making it difficult to hold buildings. Resource buildings however remain secure for the time being. -- EzriSun 16:31, 4 July 2008 (BST)

June

  • June 17th, 2008: The suburb has seen a drastic improvement over the past two weeks. Break-ins are rare, all buildings are standing, and many are powered, including some of the non-resource buildings. Waits at the revive queues are short. The Giddings Mall is standing in Pitneybank, which is also a huge boost to Starlingtown. -- Jenkem 11:37, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

May

  • May 19th, 2008: Barricade plan is not being followed. All players beware of getting stuck outside. VSB Buildings around the RPs are heavily baricaded. The poor people being revived will have to go right back to the RP if they arent lucky or careful. -- Bunkis 06:30, 20 May 2008 (BST)

I'm going to update the danger level to moderate, as there are zombies in some buildings, as well as large amounts of zeds moving north from Dentonside and Houldenbank. -- Larspcus2 07:04, 20 May 2008 (BST)

  • May 7th, 2008: There have been some zombie break-ins in the Flower Walk Fire Station, and a PKer/GKer also in the area, but things in the suburbs are still going smoothly. -- EzriSun 14:01, 7 May 2008 (BST)

That Pker/Gker was me. I got bored =) M47 fun

  • May 5th, 2008: Starlingtown is now a green suburb, with all buildings repaired and many also powered. There are few local zeds in the area that do break into some buildings from time to time, but are quickly dealt with. -- EzriSun 15:27, 5 May 2008 (BST)

April

  • April 21st, 2008: Starlingtown is improving. Many buildings in the area around the Veryard NT Building are at EHB and have generators. Revive lines are short or non-existent. Once Giddings Mall is restored, the suburb will really be in good shape for survivors. -- Jenkem 17:20, 21 April 2008
  • April 19th, 2008: External Military Reports on 25.96 MHz: "... flying over Starlingtown, can see about forty on the streets ... all stragglers, no groups ... a few buildings with lights on ... heavy structural damage ... the Veryard Building has lights on ...". -- Dynsero 20:47, 19 April 2008
  • April 9th, 2008: Veryard NT is wide open. I can't tell how many zombies are inside, as my corpse is out on the street, but there are 12 zombies outside with me. -- Scott Timewell 00:48, 9 April 2008 (BST)
Update: Veryard is ruined. -- Scott Timewell 02:38, 9 April 2008 (BST)

March

  • March 31st, 2008: Life is slowly coming back. Revives are slowly being given out, everyone waiting are asked to be patience, the South Paynterton Aces are doing their best to clear the massive line up. Many buildings are still ruined, but the overall zombie population is low. -- EzriSun 00:01, 1 April 2008 (BST)
  • March 25th, 2008: External Military Reports on 25.96 MHz: "... over a hundred in Starlingtown ... mostly just small groups ... can't see any signs of life ... the whole suburb's wrecked ... the Casely Building has fallen - repeat, the Casely Building has fallen ..." -- FLZombie 22:23, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
  • March 20th, 2008: About 25 zombies visible from within three blocks of the building I was in, didn't have the AP to do a proper sweep of the area but it looks as if zombies have forced their way into several buildings. Be very, very careful folks! -- Rookie 0200, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Most buildings around the Fire Station have been ransacked and ruined with multiple groups of 20+ Z's on cooresponding blocks.

  • March 8th, 2008: Break-ins in Starlingtown are frequent and zombie numbers fairly large. That said, the zombies' efforts are disorganized and survivors are holding their own. Several resource buildings in the center of the suburb have lights on. Danger level downgraded to "moderate." -- Jenkem 0200, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
  • March 1st, 2008: External Military report as follows: "... flying over Starlingtown, can see maybe seventy on the streets ... a few big groups, but they're spread out ... several buildings with power ... serious collateral damage ... the Veryard Building has power ... the Casely Building is looking ..." -- Machinany gun 14:50, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

February

  • February 22nd, 2008: And a more recent External Military update: "... flying over Starlingtown, can see nearly a hundred on the streets ... mostly just stragglers, no organised groups ... a few buildings with lights on ... most of the buildings are ruined ... the Veryard Building is looking wrecked ..." -- WanYao 11:36, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

  • February 13th, 2008: I had holed up at the Woolven Motel. It was Very Strongly Barricaded at the time. Checked in and it was only Lightly Barricaded. Made a dash for it with only 10 APs into Pegton. At the time I left there were 5 zombies tearing down the barricade at The Woolven Motel. -- AleViola 05:22, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
  • February 6th, 2008: The odd survivor keep moving out of Pitneybank in search for safer barricades and new groupings. Where is everyone? They cannot all be dead..or? -- Sixten 12:48, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
  • February 2nd, 2008: Zombies and survivors are spilling in from Pitneybank after the fall of Giddings Mall. Things are a bit chaotic, but for the most part safe. -- Ciaran Deckardson 16:30, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

January

  • January 23rd, 2008: There have been changes to the barricading policy. As well, The Veryard Building is now the official home of the South Paynterton Aces in Starlingtown. Of course, Aces and no Aces alike are welcome in the building. -- EzriSun 13:41, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

Many building in Starlingtown still ruined but recovering. Revives are being given in a timely fashion and The Veryard Building is up and running. Survivors are welcomed to come and help return and help keep the suburb running. -- EzriSun 16:14, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

  • January 2nd, 2008: It's a mess in Starlington. The Veryard Building is ruined (as are at least a dozen buildings near it) so I wasn't able to get a scan, but there are zeds outside of nearly every building, and several small groups. The Veryard Building's going to take a couple people to clean up: there were ten outside, five inside, and ten dead bodies inside. Good news is that most of the ruined buildings don't actually have any zombies inside, so they can be fixed more easily. It's just a matter of people doing it. Make sure you have a toolbox and enough AP to find an unruined safehouse before moving around the town. --   --cuio (talk) (NW) 23:14, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

2007

December

  • December 24th, 2007: St Alban's Hospital [96, 46] was at EHB, with a generator and a radio transmitter earlier in the day, but 3 of the 10 Zombies outside got in and ate 2 of the other 3 defenders and took a bite out of me before I retreated. -- Mike Thriller 19:37, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

I updated the Starlingtown Barricade Plan:

  • December 19th, 2007: St. Alban's Hospital [96, 46] has all but fallen. The doors are wide open and there are no barricades. As of 16:30 Pacific Time, there were five zombies outside and one inside attacking the generator. The generator is heavily damaged, but the lights are still on. -- Jenkem 16:33, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
  • December 15th, 2007: Scan from the Veryard Building revealed about 40 zombies in central to south eastern corner of the suburb. I've been here a few weeks now and the Barricade Plan seems to be ancient and ignored. It has the look of the UBP that wants to let green recruits into the NTs. NecroTech Lab Assistants start out with a DNA Extractor. I believe NTs need to be EHB at all times. -- Mike Thriller 23:34, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

November

  • November 27th, 2007: External Military: "... flying over Starlingtown, can see thirty or so on the streets ... mostly just stragglers, no organised groups ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... some minor structural damage ... the Veryard Building has lights on ..." -- Lh778 13:52, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
  • November 22nd, 2007: External Military report: "... flying over Starlingtown, can see thirty or so on the streets ... mostly just stragglers, no organised groups ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... only a few buildings damaged ... the Veryard Building has lights on ... the Casely Building is ..." -- WanYao 18:15, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

  • November 8th, 2007: Despite the edict of local authorities against installing generators in Crump Cinema, the VZW presented a day of local films as part of the First VZW Malton Film Festival today. Several local survivors were present and local zeds were seen to loiter around the edges of the building listening to the sounds of the movies. -- Shazzelim 21:33, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
  • November 7th, 2007: Just found this from the External Military on Halloween night. It may have been broadcast a week ago but the situation seems identical to today, with the only change being possibly fewer zombies on the streets. "... about forty in Starlingtown ... they're just wandering around ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... only a few buildings damaged ... the Casely Building is down ..." -- evilbob 04:17, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
  • November 1st, 2007: Just when all seemed lost, a few days ago major survivor gains were made, to the point of even retaking Veryard - which hadn't been up in over a week. However these were short-lived due to a seemingly coordinated mass break-in, and the slow battle of attrition for the rest of the central area of the suburb has begun again. Not much has changed in this suburb over the last couple of months, and it seems to be the same few zombies verses the same few survivors in the same few buildings most of the time. My September 10th report is just as true today as it was then. -- evilbob 18:18, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

October

  • October 16th, 2007: The battle of attrition is slowly being lost. Veryard isn't staying up for more than a day at a time anymore, and the surrounding buildings are being systematically ruined. The center of the suburb is almost completely lost, and the survivors that are pushing back are not holding ground for long. This suburb is nearly, if not already, red. -- evilbob 21:32, 16 October 2007 (BST)
  • October 12th, 2007: Veryard and surrounding buildings are repaired and at least HB I think. Veryard and St. Albans at EHB. Veazey is up, so if you want to text your frnds, do so nw. -- Adaxa 03:04, 12 October 2007 (BST)
  • October 10th, 2007: Veryard and nearby buildings ruined and ransacked. Only St. Alban's and the church are standing. -- Adaxa 03:02, 11 October 2007 (BST)

September

  • September 29th, 2007: Veryard still goes up and down. -- KarlSchmidt 10:52, 29 September 2007 (BST)
  • September 24th, 2007: Things are slightly better for survivors now. There are fewer buildings ruined, and the Veryard building is lit - but also under general attack each night. Still could go either way. -- evilbob 01:54, 25 September 2007 (BST)
  • September 10th, 2007: Only a few survivors are in the area and many buildings are ruined, but it seems like only a few ferals are holding them down. A couple of resource buildings are powered and going, but the rest are either powered down or ruined. A strong group could come in and claim this suburb easily for one side or the other. -- evilbob 01:28, 11 September 2007 (BST)

August

  • August 27th, 2007: As with Paynterton to the north, almost the entirety of buildings along the border have been ruined, likely others as well. Zombies are very numerous, survivors seem rare. Whether this is a continuation of the state of affairs in June or something else passed between them, might be helpful to know. -- Insomniac By Choice 14:39, 27 August 2007 (BST)

June

  • June 22nd, 2007: Starlingtown is officially Z-Town. I recently visited the area and wasn't able to find a single survivor or any barricaded buildings. So far there doesn't seem to be any major hordes gathered anywhere, so any show of human force would be enough to take the suburb back.

May

  • May 5th, 2007: The DDF is sending a Coalition of forces to aid Starlingtown residents. We need additional manpower to swell our ranks. We will then be able to kick Zed ass in your suburb. -- Nimrod1 talk-DDF- 20:58, 7 May 2007 (BST)
Update: The Dentonside Regulars will also be sending people on this mission. -- John Raymond 21:23, 8 May 2007 (BST)

July

  • July 3rd, 2007: I, Junior Firefighter, was killed by Tash Turan. Watch out for him, he's a PKer.

April

  • April 27th, 2007: The Green Starlingtown Alliance has been formed and is attempting to return the suburb to a "safe" status. We are (I am) in need of any assistance that can be offered.
  • April 19th, 2007: Is Starlingtown dead? A group of 15 to 20 zombies have been waiting at the revivification points in Imber Square and the nearby cemetery for three days now, with no revives taking place.
  • April 10th, 2007: The Drama Club staged a performance of "Army of Darkness" at Club Humphries as part of their Border Tour of Malton. The group plans to travel clockwise around the border suburbs of Malton with one show in each suburb. Today they performed for the 6 survivors here as part of this tour. See their group page for performing groups and schedules.
  • April 8th, 2007: The South Paynterton Aces have moved in to help maintain order where Team 911 has left since it disbanded. Its current priorities are to get Veryard free of zeds and running and also to keep St. Alban's running as well.

March

  • March 24th, 2007: The Dentonside Regulars have returned! They are resuming operation A Clean Sweep and have started to take a position in the south.
  • March 3rd, 2007: The Dentonside Regulars are being forced to withdraw from the suburb again. They will return thou. The Regulars have lost some members and have started to reorganize their forum. In a few weeks they may return to help clear Starlingtown of hostile Zeds. For anyone interested in joining thou, the Dentonside Regulars are recruiting.

February

  • Feburary 24th, 2007: Team 911 has successfully rebuilt Starlingtown again, most buildings are up and running with generators and radio tranz, most buildings are set to the barricade plan, and Team 911 now offers regular revives at the Imber Square. -- Carnage 12:09, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

January

  • January 20th, 2007: St. Alban Hospital and the area around it is heavily infested with zeds.
  • January 3rd, 2007: Dentonside Regulars are moving in on Operation Cleansweep. Zombie hordes beware.

2006

December

  • December 29th, 2006: Starlingtown is a mess with many resource buildings being occupied by zeds.
  • December 22nd, 2006: St. Alban's Hospital has been occupied by 5 zeds as well.
  • December 18th, 2006: The Following Buildings have fallen to the zombie hordes: The Veryard Building, Flower Walk Fire Station, Brendan General Hospital, Grist Bank, Snell Auto Repair, St Holy's Church, St Joachim's Church, St Cyril's Church, Crosbie Grove Railway Station, the Ponting Building, the Nix Arms, the Chadburn Museum, the Gristwood Arms, a factory 95, 45, Club Sweeney.

Barricades are down at the following: Veazey Towers, Tidd Cinema, Hemborrow Lane Railway Station, the Dunham Building, Buller Boulevard School.

  • December 12th, 2006: The suburb has, yet again, become more dangerous. Groups of zombies are breaking into safehouses in small mobs, but they don't have the numbers to effectively disrupt all the survivors yet. Sleeping on the streets is out of the question, and heavy barricades are recommended. Your advised to stay in a well populated building for maximum safety.

November

  • November 15th, 2006: Team 911 has officially moved into Starlingtown and given up their fiendish ways. Zombies roam the area breaking into safe houses all over and seem to be trying to take over the NT buildings constantly. The Goodship Deathz0r is still fighting the good fight.
  • November 13th, 2006: Due to barracade policies, this area is extremely newbie hostile. All resource buildings have either been cracked or barracaded up to maximum. If you do not have free running, it is suggested you stay away from this area. In addition, zombie numbers are fairly high.

October

  • October 17th, 2006: A new survivor group, calling themselves "911" or "Team 911" have moved in. They are so called PKers. It is advised to hug on sight. Zombies still roam the area breaking into safe houses. The Goodship Deathz0r, in Starlingtown to the last and always taking on fresh faces.

September

  • September 24th, 2006: The suburb has, yet again, become more dangerous. Groups of zombies are sporadically breaking into safehouses in small mobs, but they don't have the numbers to effectively disrupt all survivors. Sleeping on the streets is out of the question, and heavy barricades are recommended.
  • September 16th, 2006: After a short walk around the Southern area of the suburb, it seems to be fairly safe. Small packs (if at all) roaming around. Most buildings are secure, albeit few or no generators. Survivors are heavily disrupted, with mostly new people.

August

  • August 31st, 2006: Me and my force, AXIS OMEGA POLICE, have been ransacked and zombified. We need immediate revivification. There are 3 members in warehouse 90,43 in Starlington and they WILL NOT attack you. Please revive, and if possible, barricade the warehouse to medium protection. Also the zombie threat is a medium they seemed to rise up in numbers and then just fall back down. I'll check the zombie threat once more before setting threat rate. CO.Arpeggio out.
Starlington is in red alert its completely unsafe to walk the streets or find a un ransacked building. Fire stations/ police stations/ hospitals all zombified. Virtually no safe location in suburb. Stay away at all costs. CO.Arpeggio out.
  • August 24th, 2006: The southern end of the suburb is wide open with zombies pouring in. Both Big Bash and the RRF move in and celebrate by eating brains.
  • August 23rd, 2006: The suburb is not safe. Break-ins are common and there is a large number of zombies filling the suburb, possibly due to Big Bash south of the suburb in Dentonside.
  • August 11th, 2006: The cluster of resource buildings in the centre of the suburb have all been broken into, and even though most have been cleared of zombies the survivor numbers there are low. The edges of the suburb remain secure.
  • August 7th, 2006: Traveled from south of suburb to the middle. Most buildings very heavily barricaded and unable to enter from street. Zeds still continue to be in packs of 2 - 6 at every resource building. Continue to proceed with caution in this area.
  • August 2nd, 2006: XIII Shots will NOT be occupying the Woolven Motel! It is the headquarters of the Goodship Deathz0r, and, from now on, any XIII Shots member inside claiming that it is their HQ can bugger off! We were there first. Also, The Goodship Deathz0r, happily obliging to sort of nearly do an ok job defending something apart from themselves is set up in Woolven, as of before those XIII Shots communists. So There. Most of the survivors in Starlingtown have gone to Giddings anyway, to help with the Big Bash.

July

  • July 23rd, 2006: Several zeds have been spotted in nearly every hospital and fire station in Starlingtown, in groups of 2 to 6 at a time. Recommend caution to survivors in and around those areas.
  • July 14th, 2006: The group, Da Gangstas, that was suppose to defend Starlingtown is not in business due to most of its members being accused of using clones. So Da Gangstas group is out of business. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  • July 13th, 2006: Upon making a trek from Pitneybank to Starlington, it can be discovered that Starlington is not as safe as it appears to be. Nearing the Flower Walk Fire Station, there were about 8 zombies at every block. There appeared to be no survivors lingering outside of the buildings.
  • July 9th, 2006: It seems like all members in the Da Gangstas are moving in to Starlingtown to defend it. They will be hiding out along the western border of Starlingtown. Let's just hope that this gang will work at its best keeping Starlingtown a zombie free area.
  • July 7th, 2006: Starlingtown is currently a pretty safe place to be, with only a few buildings overrun by zombies in groups of 2 to 6. The Northern part of Starlingbank is currently inaccessible. Survivors are told to go to the Southern, Eastern or Western part of the suburb for a safe house. July 8th UPDATE: Most of the buildings are inaccessible. The only buildings that are accessible currently are on the western border of Starlingtown. Be aware that there are only a few buildings that you can enter.

June

  • June 28th, 2006: Zombies on the rise. Report (4 dragged from fire building.) Horde may have arrived, as the attack was preceded by a series of calls.
  • June 8th, 2006: Nice to know somebody is. Anyway, might has well make public the proposed site for the fireworks show on July 3rd. It was originally proposed by the SRF, but now will need to be run by the community. The said location is Hacker Way
  • June 5th, 2006: Since the Starlingtown Resistance Front has disbanded, XIII Shots will soon be inhabiting the suburb of Starlingtown. The HQ of XIII Shots will be located at the Woolven Motel (92,46). Hopefully this group will stay together efficiently enough to keep Starlingtown zombie-free and survivor-friendly.

April

  • April 27th, 2006: This neighborhood is now protected by Starlingtown Resistance Front It will soon be completely safe to walk the streets. Update: Fat chance of that happening. They disbanded. Note:Sorry about that, helping to organize the city's hospitals is a full time job, and SRF wasn't going anywhere.

March

  • March 13th, 2006: After breaking out from Pitneybank police departments and prisons, a group of rogue criminals entered Starlingtown with guns blazing. Calling themselves "The Convicts," the felons are out to get vengeance on society and police pigs. Watch out, survivors of Starlingtown.

January

  • January 26th, 2006: It's about 1AM and my cellphone just suddenly stopped working. Shortly after this I heard some low groaning coming from the direction of the Veazey Towers. The zombies must have gotten in. I wonder if was the Billyblackeye_Brigade. I've heard they have a cell in this area that has been targeting communications buildings. Either way I know I'm going to have to head there tomorrow to see if there are any survivors, and try to restore power.
  • January 22nd, 2006: Upon entry of Starlingtown I have only seen a few zombies. Most of them are in groups of 3 or 4 and are outside major locations . If you seek shelter from the zombie hordes feel free to come here. Alone or not your basically safe as long as you can find a refuge ( there plentiful ) Hope you have a pleasant journey
  • January 11th, 2006: All groups of zombies seen by my scouts are under 8, and most are under 5. People passing through should be having no problems, alone or not. Try to freerun between buildings, and pick a low priority building, or your barricades may be broken! Not very likely though, good luck.

2005

December

  • December 26th, 2005: I have just entered this area and have seen hordes of Zombies. Several groups of 3 and a group of 6. I have only seen 1 human. This should be marked as a DANGER ZONE to all lone humans!!
