History

Pre-Malton Outbreak

Built in the late 19th century as part of the illustrous Devonshire family's estate, this building still shows parts of the facade with the arched windows. Originally intended for leisure, the building was engulfed in the expansion of the city of Malton only a couple of decades after its completion, at which point the Devonshires donated the building to the State. During the Second World War, Stobbart Walk served as an administrative center for the Home Guard, with whole crowds of messengers passing through the building daily and with dozens of telephone lines running from here to other parts of the city. As soon as the war ended, the building was abandoned for decades. In 1991, it was renovated with modern building materials, while a local council found it imperative that the arched windows be preserved, and when it was finished in 1992, it became a Police Department for the City of Malton.

Post-Malton Outbreak

Due to its remote location from the Malton city center, Ivyleafe Row Police Department has been kind of neglected ever since the outbreak. Below is a short timeline of the events following the Malton Incident, please add new items to the top.

  • September, 2012: MPD official TombTrash reports Stobbart Walk PD is ruined and no sign of nearby survivors can be found.
  • January-April, 2012: Survivors have taken the PD and repaired it. Some cases of overcading were reported, but in general, the building was a safe entrypoint up until the end of April, when several zombies attacked it.
  • November-December, 2011: Zombies have taken Stobbart Walk and ruined it.
  • July-October, 2011: Survivors maintain the Police Department and hold several smaller zed attacks at bay.
  • April-June, 2011: The zombie's occupation of Stobbart Walk is only interupted by a failed attempt to retake and rebuild it.
  • January-March, 2011: Survivors bring Stobbart Walk PD safely into the new year and have fueled a generator for the occasion.
  • October-November, 2010: Zombies attack the precinct, killing everyone inside and destroying all they can find.
  • January-October, 2010: A lot of reports are missing from this period, the ones that did reach the community report that Stobbart Walk is a quiet, yet safe Police Department on the border of the city.
  • 2009: The only reports that reached the outside were those that told of a destroyed building that was occupied by zombies.
