Suggestion description
This suggestion is for a scope that will increase the accuracy of the pistol by 5% At the moment i think two possible things could happen with this object. Characters could purchase the "Scope" skill in the Zombie Hunter Tree. It would be good as it could be purchased at level 15+ (depending on if people view it as too helpful, so then it could be put at a higher level to be used). The higher level for the purchase would mean that it would be easier for higher levels to kill zombies.

However i think that it could also be a searchable object found only in armouries because it would help humans keep away zombies from the forts easier in the future(because so far it seems that every time a zombie attack it launched against the forts they fall). Plus it means that lower level players would be able to have some chance of helping players in defending strongholds.

Also, this upgrade could also be a skill AND a searchable object (this will be further adapted later on in this speech...)

I think that because it is only a 5% increase it may be seen as better than something/ a skill that increases the accuracy by 10% (bringing up the max to 75%, other than 70% which is what i am suggesting). Plus a 5% increase might not piss off zombies as much as 10%.

I think that people who use this object/skill would mean that humans have a chance to keep their places strong.

Also at this point i think that many of you people reading may think this is an unfair advantage for the humans, but it would also mean that people who look for this object would have to look in one or two places and those level players (15+) would mean zombies could kill a lot more players at once because they would know that forts are where they would be, balancing it all out. By the time that a lot of people have this object and then moved away from forts i think that Kevan may have implimented a new zombie skill which would increase their hand/teeth/other accuracy to compensate.

Thank you for reading and please start to vote! :)

Keep Votes

  1. Keep - I like the idea, but it could be tweaked a bit, the game seem a bit unrealistic of 30% hit, it doesn't even seem like 30% the current accuracy seems more like 20%, I'm hitting 1 shot per clip EchelonThree 13:56, 29 June 2007 (BST)
  2. Keep - Come on its realistic. Your telling me a trained military personnel has only a 60% chance of hitting a zombie thats just standing there? Military personel should have a higher accuracy rating. Koolaidman007 18:02, 29 June 2007 (BST)
Always be wary of "realism" arguments. Misfires, KB's, pulling a Barney, and accidental friendly fire are also realistic, but they are not in the game.--Jiangyingzi 23:18, 29 June 2007 (BST)

Kill Votes

  1. Kill - 70% accuracy? Sniper pistols? If someone provides a dupe link, cause I'm sure it's been suggested before, I'll change my vote to dupe.--karek 14:01, 29 June 2007 (BST)
  2. Kill - Yay. Give people better guns... Next!.--Seventythree 14:07, 29 June 2007 (BST)
  3. Kill - Combat works and is balanced right now, improving the game should happen through new mechanics or strategies. Not by introducing an escalating arms race.-- Vista  +1  14:15, 29 June 2007 (BST)
  4. Kill - No more gun upgrade suggestions PLEASE! Vault 16:00, 29 June 2007 (BST)
  5. Kill - Guns are fine, so are melee weapons, PLEASE stop trying to make them better.... --Bruce Torbaron 16:52, 29 June 2007 (BST)
  6. ZOMG! Can we have zombie-seeking, instakill bullets too?! -- Firemanrik 17:43, 29 June 2007 (BST)
  7. Kill - I'm not going to bother looking for a Rejected Dupe. Guns don't need to be boosted. And please make an effort to make your suggestions readable. You used paragraphs, but it was still really hard to make sense of what you were trying to say. Also, you can't justify your suggestion by saying that "Kevan might boost zombies by the time this buffs loads and loads of survivors". armareum 23:14, 29 June 2007 (BST)
  8. Kill - Just adding a vote for strength in numbers.--Jiangyingzi 23:25, 29 June 2007 (BST)
  9. Kill - Sorry, but these pistols aren't the M6Cs from Halo:CE.-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 02:29, 30 June 2007 (BST)
  10. Kill - Mmmm, the guns are pretty well balanced at the moment. --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 04:40, 4 July 2007 (BST)

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. NO! -Pistol are already drastically uber-overpowered compared to everything else there is exept zombie claws (and possibly bite). There is NO NEED to buff them further. If axes get a +15 accuracy buff and pistols get this they will STILL be overpowered. End of story. --AlexanderRM 17:48, 29 June 2007 (BST)
  2. WTF CENTAURS - No, no, no, no, no! Survivors do not need any more buffs. Seriously, dude. --Sonny Corleone RRF CoL DORIS Hunt! 14:45, 30 June 2007 (BST)
  3. Snipers bad. Got it? And I also bet this is a dupe...of something in Rejected. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 22:53, 8 July 2007 (BST)
