Suggestion description
Okay, my first suggestion. I realize this may be considered unbalancing, but at least it's realistic. Imagine this: You're in a building, searching for stuff. THe door get's smashed down, and you turn. Standing there is a zombie. There's no other exits, and you'd rather not become his or her brain munching pal. So what are you gonna do, just stand there? Not if you have any will to live whatsoever. The-not really-logical, but realistic thing a person would do is kill or evade the zombie. Staying too long and fighting with the zombie will just attract more attention. So what do you do? You run and swing at them, at an attempt to hit them and get past them. Now, before I automatically get a Kill or Spam vote, let me explain about this. It;s gonna sound complicated, but ti really isnt. If you stand still, plant your feet, and take a swing t something, you're more likely to hit it. Like in baseball. But if you run and randomly swing at baseball, you'll probably end up getting a strike or a hospital visit. If I was saying "Yeah you should get 50% of chance to hit teh zombehz and get away cuz ur human and ur smarter" I could understand. But c'mon. Running at something and swinging at it randomly in a desperate attempt to get past isn't really giving you much time to aim. You just run and swing randomly at it and try to get past. You should get a low amount of success, and it should take 2AP. That's only because if it works, you're home free. I only thought of this because it's a last resort for the people(like newbs who can't really fight yet) to get out of the building with their lives. Critism is welcome, but at least try to understand before you vote "Kill "'Cause your suggestion is utterly stupid and would unbalance the game completely!" because it really won't. It'll just give you a last little glimer of hope when your in one of the darkest places in this game: cornered and practically canned zombie food.

The only valid votes are Keep, Kill, Spam or Dupe. If you wish to abstain from voting, do not vote.

Keep Votes

  1. Tentative Keep - I like the idea. It's a little confusing and took me a couple of readings to get the point but I do think it could work. Idea still needs a lot of work to get past the spam patrol but a good effort. -- Cheese 22:00, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
  2. Change - Attach some actual numbers regarding the hit chances and I'm on board. --Heretic144 22:07, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
  3. Sure - As Cheesy Harmbargar--/~Rakuen~\Talk Domo.gif I Still Love Grim 23:39, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Kill Votes

  1. clarify if i read this right you are suggesting an attack (or skill?) allowing you to leave a building for 2 ap but take a swipe at the zombie on the way out at half your hit chance? If thats the case whats wrong with taking a 1AP swing at full accuracy and then a 1AP action to leave? The flavour is great but as zombies do not stop or hinder you leaving the skill has no use and in fact would only harm you. Perhaps if you make it a 1AP action to leave and attack at a weapons base accuracy it might make more sense and be more useful but then you will get people screaming "WAAAH.... NO FREE-ACTIONZ!" --Honestmistake 22:11, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
  2. Kill - really pointless, as above--CorndogheroT-S-Z 22:14, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
  3. Kill - Gotta go with the above, because I'm fond of logic and math. --Diano 22:54, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
  4. Kill/Discussion - Dude, as of right now newbies can simply leave a building if there's a zombie inside it. Why take the risk of waking it up by hitting it? Also, you need to clarify most of your points. Wishy-washy suggestions tend to die quick, humiliating deaths. --Private Mark 23:44, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
  5. Kill -There is no way to be "trapped". Even a human w/out free run can simply walk out.--Airborne88Zzz1.JPGT|Z.Quiz|PSS 23:49, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
  6. Kill Cause your suggestion is utterly stupid and would unbalance the game completely! (Sorry. Somebody had to do it.) - Headshot Hal Talk 01:03, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
  7. Kill - If survivors get something like this, zeds should to.--Jamie Cantwell3 02:52, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. Spam - I failed to read to the end of it. Man, make an effort! Write a suggestion next time. -- John RubinT! ZG FER 22:09, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
  2. Spam - Okay, my first vote - so please be gentle with any Res, and listen, I know you may find this vote unfair but hear me out! Y'know how, when you're eating liquorice, and it gets stuck between your teeth, and then you have to pick it out with your fingernail, just as this hot babe asks you the time, and you're, like, trying to get to your watch, but there's black liquorice gunk all over your fingers and inbetween your teeth, and she's like "ewww, that's gross", and then that's it - the moment's gone - it's like, it totally sucks and blows at the same time, kinda like you wished...well, anyway - wouldn't it be great if you could, I dunno, tell the future? I don't know how you could do that, but if you could, you could avoid those embaressing situations. I know - my idea for a time machine or some form of temporal telepathy or power of prophecy is incomplete - which brings me to my point: so's this suggestion. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 22:18, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
  3. Clarify - Seriously, this is about as comprehensible as a script for the Flowerpot Men written inbadly translated handwriting.--Studoku 22:22, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
  4. Spam - unclear and unjustifyed. first time is not an excuse. example. --~~~~ [talk] 22:34, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
  5. Is that melted licorice in my pocket, or am I just glad to see you? - As Funt. --WanYao 22:51, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
  6. Spam - The game doesn't need wookie cenataurs, because it already has wookies from alpha centauri. SIM Core Map.png Swiers 22:57, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
  7. Spam - (1) More than half of this is arguments, not a suggestion, (2) the suggestion is incomplete (lacks details), and (3) being that it's your first suggestion, you should have followed the advice for making suggestions which tells you to "take it to Discussion. --PdeqTalk* 23:46, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
  8. Spam - Fails even basic logic. -- Iscariot 01:00, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
