Keep Votes

  1. Keep from the Author I figured I'd better vote on this version. --Blake Firedancer T E RNL? P.I.S.I.T. 12:11, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  2. Keep - Like most/almost all sugestions this won't be put in the game, so keep keep KEEP!--Jamie Cantwel3 TalkAll glory to the Hypnotoad! 14:42, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  3. Keep - Sounds good. Not too overpowered. After all the rates of finding a fak are better eg 50% and heal more, so NOBDY would use Serums to heal infections, they would use faks.--KOOKY 14:45, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  4. Keep/Minor Change - As Kooky, with one change. I like everything about this suggestion except for beer healing for 3 each unit. It should heal for 1 each unit, for a total of 3, just like the bottles do. Other than that, it's a great suggestion --Tselita 16:50, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  5. Keep/change lower the search rates but good main idea^-Schizoidgull 21:37, 6 June 2008 (BST)-^
  6. Keep - Finally, an interesting version. Makes bars useful too. Neat. --Pgunn 23:07, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  7. KEEP - ive been very thirsy you know so keep--Minigun4523 11:22, 7 June 2008 (BST)
  8. Keep - Yay! Magic Beer!!! --UCFSD 15:27, 9 June 2008 (BST)

Kill Votes

  1. nope. Similar to the concerns I had on the discussion page 1) Serom is overpowered and would damade the effects of infection too much and 2) I figured canteens or some equivilent where part of the unmentioned equipment that it is assumed that all survivors would ahve to carry, like backpacks, food and blankets.--SeventythreeTalk 12:18, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  2. Kill - As Seventythree, the serum is overpowered (and it gives experience!). The water and beer are just incarnations of FAKs, except they are vastly inferior and you'd be much better off with bringing real FAKs, both HP and AP-wise. --Aeon17x
  3. Graah - I like this but I cannot allow it. Sorry! Makes killing harder. --Vandurn 13:37, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  4. Kill - there might be something here (the serum part), but not in this form. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 13:49, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  5. kill Gee cause beer becomes super-beer in a canteen Padfu-Zomfu 16:02, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  6. Kill - Although I see where you're going with this, I think it's just not a good idea. The game's main focus is more on combat. Eating, and drinking are just understood to be taken care of. --Officer Dick Trickle 16:16, 6 June 2008 (BST)
Also, if you're already spending 3ap filling and drinking from a canteen for 3 beers worth of hp, why not just drink 3 beers? --Officer Dick Trickle 21:17, 14 June 2008 (BST)
  7. Kill - As Seventythree. -- THELORDGUNSLINGER 17:00, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  8. Kill I think that the serum and beer healing is too much. --Dr Frank 17:35, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  9. Kill - Water cannot heal. This is a fact both in game and in real life. Dont just take my word for it though. Go grab yourself a bottle of water and a razor blade. Cut your finger with the razor blade, enough to draw some blood. Now, this will be your "control cut". You simply wait for it to clot, timing it with a stopwatch if need be. Once it has clotted, cut the same finger on the opposite hand in as close to the same place as you did before. Now drink the bottle of water and wait for the cut to clot (Please ensure cuts are of the same dimensions to ensure its a fair test). You will notice no difference. Indeed, you will still be cut regardless of wether you drink one bottle of water or a hundred bottles of water, though in the case of the latter you would also be dead due to complications resulting from overhydration. The same applies in game, unless you want to assume that for the last three years all the survivors in malton were, in fact, dessicated mummies. Also, i dont like the serum, and we already have beer. For even more fun, repeat the above experiment with beer. --The Grimch U! E! WAT! 17:40, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  10. Kill - *sips canteen* *votes kill on lower encumbrance infection cure suggestion* --Riseabove 21:01, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  11. Kill - The healing parts are quite overpowered, especially in regard to the beer. --ZsL 21:28, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  12. Kill - 3 HP?!? Make it 2 HP and we'll talk. MAYBE. --BoboTalkClown 22:02, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  13. Kill - Beer heals? Is the skill bartending similar to Surgery? Maybe in a lit pub you can heal 10 HP with a beer and some pretzels? This is overpowered and ridiculous.--– Nubis NWO 23:23, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  14. Kill - Unneeded. -- Takiel 20:20 (EST), 6 June 2008
  15. Kill - You've already got a canteen, it keeps you from dying of dehydration. No further benefit is required. (Also, beer drunk from a canteen, particularly a metal one, should remove health via pure nastiness.)--Jiangyingzi 01:56, 7 June 2008 (BST)
  16. Kill - Retarded and completely unnecessary. --This is you talking hurrrrr - Crypto LOL 03:27, 7 June 2008 (BST)
  17. Kill - As above. --Midianian|T|T:S|C:RCS| 08:35, 8 June 2008 (BST)
  18. A FAK is enough. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 15:09, 8 June 2008 (BST)
  19. Kill - Everything has been said already. -Druuuuu OcTRR 03:57, 10 June 2008 (BST)
  20. Kill - As above. --L33t 0wn3r 00:57, 11 June 2008 (BST)
  21. Kill - If you've got time to worry about this stuff, it's because there aren't any zombies. - Grant (talk) 10:33, 11 June 2008 (BST)
  22. Kill - I think "Magic Beer!" describes this all too well. Look, if you're this bored, come die and start munching branz. You'll get enough to eat. --Ghills 20:22, 11 June 2008 (BST)
  23. kill - 1. multi turn actions 2. outside current game mechanics. beer heals 1 ap. and since when does malton have runing water? --Jack S13 T! PC 21:43, 12 June 2008 (BST)
  24. Kill - The only really useful aspect of this would be the serum, but FAKs do the same thing and take 2% less encumberance and heal HP on top of that. --Howard Bentley 02:20, 13 June 2008 (BST)
  25. Kill - Absurd. - Fred Fredfredson 05:12, 14 June 2008 (BST)
  26. Kill - as has already been said above- serum is over powered and completly against the game (imagine the amount of CR's there are now and imagine if their was 'serum' which cost "AP instead of 10AP!) and FAKs and beer would be easier to carry than the canteen. Also would survivors not be carrying water anyway? and food aswell..? --Irounds 14:01, 15 June 2008 (BST)
  27. Kill - last time I czeched, the Malls don't have Camping Stores. Which is a shame because I'd quite like a tent. --Sir Bob Fortune RR 10:31, 16 June 2008 (BST)
  28. Kill - Pointless. FAKs are better to use when you have surgery or even first aid.--Doctor Oberman 16:31, 18 June 2008 (BST)
  29. Kill - Water and Beer are worse than a FAK, serum nerfs FAK horribly. --Atticus 17:59, 18 June 2008 (BST)
  30. Kill - Bring back the Holy Water part. -- To know the face of God is to know madness....Praise knowledge! Mischief! Mayhem! The Rogues Gallery!. <== DDR Approved Editor 21:36, 18 June 2008 (BST)

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. Spam - An unsalvagable suggestion. Current system in place is fine. Also, as The Grimich.  Billy Club Thorton  T!  RR  18:57, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  2. Spam - Ridiculous. --The Hierophant 20:33, 6 June 2008 (BST)
  3. Spam - First of all, many believe this is technically already in the game. Eating, drink, using the bathroom, bathing, all those things are already presumed to occur in the game without having to do them. And food and water would necessarily be portable. Also, this is overpowered in EVERY way. The search % are WAY too high (and what about Bargain Hunting?). It nerfs beer, wine AND FAKS. Beer and Wine each heal 1 HP. This will heal up to 9. You also save 2% encumberance relative to carrying beer/wine (1 "unit" of wine/beer equals 1 bottle of said). You forgot the search% for the "serum". And what IS "serum" anyway? This nerfs FAKS because it is a 100% find rate for curing, relative to a FAK. For 7 AP, you can automatically heal 6 HP. With a FAK, you could potentially find 2 FAK (34% search), but your subject to the whim of the RNG. But it makes me think, does this give XP? If it does, again, nerfs FAKS. If it doesn't it kinda nerfs First Aid (as First Aid doesn't give XP). Basically, the major reason to use a FAK is to get XP easily. Why would you use THIS if it doesn't give XP?--Pesatyel 07:02, 7 June 2008 (BST)
  4. spam - how exactly does water heal somebody? then again, how does beer heal you? --Scotw 19:58, 7 June 2008 (BST)
