20090625 Scent Trail Alteration

Bob Boberton TF / DW 02:52, 25 June 2009 (BST)

Suggestion type
Skill change

Suggestion scope
Zombies with Scent Trail

Suggestion description
Currently Scent Trail only triggers when someone attacks a zombie. With this proposed change, a zombie remembers the scent of its last target and can track them if they move. A message such as "PLAYERNAME fled. (Now XN / XS, XW / XE) (Time)" would now be displayed if the last attacked target of a zombie moves away before they are killed.

This only allows a zombie to track one target - the person who last interacted with the zombie. For example, if another player logs in after a zombie attacks a target and attacks that zombie, the new attacker would then be the focus of the Scent Trail. If the target or zombie dies before they log in again, the Scent Trail would be lost as normal.
