20090704 New Building: Survivor Center

Ltpotter 20:08, 4 July 2009 (BST)

Suggestion type
New Building

Suggestion scope
Survivors

Suggestion description
With zombies gaining superiority over Survivors, I think we should throw the survivors something that will help them out a little, in not only better preparing themselves, but also uniting them in their war against the Undead. A new 4 squire building known as the Survivor Center will stand in the center of town, and give survivors the best search odds then anywhere else in the city. It would also include a special Radio tower with a built in transmitter. This transmitter has a special ability. For a small Fee, Players will be allowed to use this transmitter to send a broadcast on every radio frequency.

What is this fee you ask? Well… you have Extra EXP points and don’t know what to do with them… you in luck… The Super Radio transmitter will cost 25XP* to broadcast a message over every frequency (except the military controlled ones). The Transmitter will even have a spam filter on it (This makes it so a person will have to wait a full 60 seconds* before broadcasting again.

The building is split into 4 parts.

Survivor Center Armory- the Northwest part of the building which holds plenty of Ammo (Clips at 9% Shells at 7%) and Guns (Pistols at 9% Shotguns at 7%) as well as a few Baseball Bats (11%), Knifes (10%), and of course Fire Axes (10%) (a 63% chance you’ll find something)*

Survivor Center Housing- the Northeast part of the building that holds things left behind by other survivors including Newspapers, (15%), Binoculars (7%), Spray Cans (10%), Radios (7%), and even some Beer (8%) and Wine (8%) (55% chance you’ll find something)*

Survivor Center Supply Rooms- the Southwest part of the building that holds some rather useful items including First Aid Kits (25%), Flare Guns (7%), and fuel cans (12%) (a 44% chance you’ll find something)*

Survivor Center Radio Center- the location of The Super Radio transmitter. The only thing to really find in here is clothes. You can also get a special peace of clothing called mirrored sunglasses here in the clothing options

If this building is going to be place in the city I suggest it's places at 49,49/49,50/50,49 and 50,50 so it will be dead center in the city.

  3. Spam - No.-- Adward  21:41, 4 July 2009 (BST)
  4. Spam - You start off with the false premise that zombies have gained superiority, add a radio with super duper spamming ability, and finish with huge search odds in some sort of uber-mall with no realistic flavour, just the justification that "survivors want stuff, wah". Use DS, or just stop editing the wiki, whichever -- boxy talkteh rulz 22:51 4 July 2009 (BST)
  5. Spam - Not only is the building horribly over-powered, but you put it right in the middle of Ridleybank, the undisputed zombie capital of Malton. No survivor would ever, EVER be able to use it. --Blake Firedancer T E RNL? P.I.S.I.T. 23:03, 4 July 2009 (BST)
  6. Spamkill with burning S.T.D.s - Because this suggestion is stupidly, insanely overpowered and so wretched you should be ashamed.--Necrofeelinya 00:15, 5 July 2009 (BST)
