20100930 Lethal Force

Luke the Spook

Suggestion type
Lethal Force

Suggestion scope
Survivors

Suggestion description
Not sure how i mucked that up but anyway.

Lethal Force - could we increase the damage of guns - as the balance between Survivor killing and Survivor death potential is stacked against the survivor. This is reflected in the control balance of the maps and the number of zombie controlled regions. Zombies have numbers but the strength of human survivors is 'ranged attack' and 'Lethal Force' the ability to eliminate at least two zombies per survivor, per turn / go. Considering the amount of effort in finding ammo and the actual percentage chance to hit - the deadly aspect of fire arms has been blunted well beyond fair play.

Could guns shoot through barricades / out windows to hit exterior milling zombies to turn each building into a defendable bastion.

Can we have rifles, a 3AP per use weapon (load / aim / shoot) that can have the range to shoot into any exterior corresponding block?

What about a military assault rifle that is issued to the military privates class. They have the same 1AP/shot as the pistol but they have larger magazines (more bullets / clip) and if the rifle is embraced then they could have the same qualities - shooting into any corresponding exterior block.

Neither the police or the military side-arms reflect any truth of these weapons and again - while I understand this is not a first person shooter and the emphasis here is on fair play I think an improvement here may actually restore some balance and survivability for the Survivors.

  2. Spam - As cool as it would be, it will never happen. No matter how many people suggest it, it will never happen. Red Eyes-Dezonus-Red Eyes (talk) 05:01, 30 September 2010 (BST)
  3. Spam - This is the worst thing I've read in a long time. -- LEMON #1
  4. Spam - You should be aware that the Suggestions system here is pretty brutal for newcomers. Even so, it's like you didn't even try to learn about it at all, since almost everything you suggested is on the Do Not Suggest list, and for good reason. The least you could have done is read through the material that's posted for newcomers so that you know what sorts of things are a waste of your time and ours. Aichon 06:24, 30 September 2010 (BST)
