Group Leaders

Mod spaminated with 4 Keeps, 6 Kills, and 10 Spam votes. Many voters thought that group leaders shouldn't receive special treatment, and that PKing shouldn't be nerfed.--Gage 09:06, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

A Stop-Gap Measure That Works

Kill Votes

  1. Kill - Okay, umm, maybe I'm just an idiot, but this makes no sense to me at all. I mean I literally don't understand what you're suggesting. Are you creating shortcuts so people don't need to spend all that time typing out great big, hard to spell personal pronouns and possessives? Or is it a series of pre-set movements that users can choose from, sort of like Gestures? Or maybe this is an additional action to speech, to be used for posing? But, with the speech button you simply describe your actions thus... ::Nosimplehiway sits on ~ sofa, scratching ~ chin, confused as hell.::--Nosimplehiway 13:21, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
Kill - I think this is suggesting an emote option, which might show up as different from either speech or the character description in the profile. But I'm not sure. It needs a better description of what it is. --Funt Solo Scotland flag.JPG 13:32, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
  2. Lets see my reason....not needed. --Slice 'N' Dicin' Axe Hack 18:00, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
  3. Kill - Is this about adding emotes or...? I didn't completely understand this suggestion. And what comes to adding emotes, there's already a pretty darn good suggestion in the Peer Reviewed. -- Nob666 19:56, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
  4. Kill - I like the idea of adding emotes and actions to the game, but I'm a bit confused here: I don't exactly understand your suggestion... Could you elaborate please? --Wikidead 20:37, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. Spam - This is a game about zombies and humans fighting, not a game about people sitting down and boots approaching. No. --Joe O'Wood TALKCONTRIBSUD 17:11, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
  2. Spam - changed to spam on the basis that this appears to be suggesting emotes, which are already covered in the Peer Reviewed suggestion called, erm, "Emotes". --Funt Solo Scotland flag.JPG 22:14, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
  3. Spamyspamspam - reasons above, already suggested. --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 00:32, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
  4. Spam - Jedaz said "Hey all'' as he spamed the suggestion, ''you can just use apostrophes like I did here" - JedazΣT ΞD GIS S! 00:53, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
  5. Sigh - they should have a warning on the back of those weed packs I sold you yesterday. Warning - Inhaling any contents in the bag may include side effects off: the feeling of high, more concentration, the ability to post a reaaaaaaaaaly run down version of a good idea you have been warned. --Shadow213 07:19, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
  6. ROFLWOFLZ - This suggestion automatically inserts the roffle into my waffles.--J Muller 07:50, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
  7. /me Spams. This suggestion doesn't fix the age old problem of someone typing /me hits you with an axe etc. and freaking everyone out. The peer reviewed suggestion does. -Cutlet 10:55, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

Tips For The Newly Revived

Timestamp: Slice 'N' Dicin' Axe Hack 18:22, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
Type: Help
Scope: The Newly Revived
Description: There are tips for those killed as a human for the first time, where are the tips for those zombies who were revived for the first time? I propose that when a zombie character gets revived for the first time, there will be a short sentence telling them what to do if they get revived, such as how to get back to the zombie state, and some other useful things. The sentence could be like: You have been revived by a trained scientist. It is a chance for you to get a flak jacket, as well as any human skills that may be useful to zombies. If you want to return to your zombie state, all you have to do is get killed by another survivor or zombie, or for a faster way of dying, find a tall building and jump out the window. If you want to stay as a survivor, look for a building that is Very Strongly Barricaded. A hospital would be best. Stock up on FAKs, then if you don't already have Diagnosis, take wild guesses on which survivor could use a FAK. If you already have Diagnosis, then leveling up as a survivor should be easy.

  2. Keep - I love it, if survivors get a message when they die, so should zombies when they, uh, live?--Canuhearmenow Hunt! 18:47, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
  3. Yep. -Mark 20:39, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
  4. Keep - I don't like the hints you gave here, but the idea of a message on first revive sounds nice. Is this hint is only for those who started in the zombie class or for anyone who gets revived for the first time? --Wikidead 20:40, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
Put it this way, Wikidead. Those who were revived, but started out as survivors might not need any tips to move them along. Why? They started as survivors. They should know what to do. So...these tips only apply to those who were revived for the first time, but started as a zombie. --Slice 'N' Dicin' Axe Hack 20:57, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
  5. Keep - at last, a Xmas keeper. Something subtle and helpful, good for new players, doesn't involve breaking the game and hasn't been suggested before. Groovy, baby, yeah! --Funt Solo Scotland flag.JPG 22:12, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
  6. Keep with an addition - Please, if the revived is infected, remind them to go to a hospital for treatment. --John Verdana 00:05, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
  7. Keep - Yeah, anything to help new players out is great, so they don't feel completely lost and give up. --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 00:29, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
  8. Keep Yay concept. The text will obviously get a rewrite. --Jon Pyre 05:26, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

Kill Votes

  1. Kill - But only because of the phrasing. All of these tips include too much metagaming. They should be based on in-character motivations. Newbies shouldn't be told they should using time as a human to get a flak jacket so they'll be a better zombie. They should be told "You've been saved from your zombie state by a kindly scientist. You'll probably be able to stay that way better if you get inside, off the streets, and find something to defend yourself with--you can't defend yourself as well now as you could when you were undead. If you just can't stand the pain of living in an undead world, then another zombie will probably find you if you stay outside--or if you'd like it to move quicker, maybe you can commit suicide. There are plenty of tall buildings around..."--'STER-Talk-ModP! 01:24, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
  2. kill i do not like anything about this suggestion except the motive... do not try to guide people they should make their own choice!--Honestmistake 01:31, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
OK...but...newbies could definitely use this. They're new at the game(Well, the survivor part at least), and could really use the help. --Slice 'N' Dicin' Axe Hack 13:05, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
  3. kill - Really don't like the wording. Change it to something neutral, and I might reconsider. - BzAli 23:26, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

Skill Rememberances

Spaminated with 7 Spams, 1 Kill, 1 Author-Keep, because zombies can already use some h-t-h weapons and shouldn't be able to use firearms. --Funt Solo Scotland flag.JPG 09:44, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
