Dismantle

Timestamp: Canuhearmenow Hunt! 01:43, 8 October 2006 (BST)
Type: New Skill.
Scope: Zombie Barricade destruction.
Description: This adds a new skill under Memories Of Life, called "Dismantle." Your Zombie has learned that removing the barricade, instead of attacking it is more effective. This adds a new attack option called "Dismantle" upon a barricade, meaning you remove the barricade instead of bashing it, this always has a 30% chance to hit. What this does is it costs 2 AP per attack, but it has a 15% bonus against barricades. So if you wanted to take a chance with AP, then this is the attack for you!

  1. Keep - Author Vote, Rheingold asked me to suggest a zombie suggestion, and here it is.--Canuhearmenow Hunt! 01:43, 8 October 2006 (BST)

Kill Votes

  1. And what would that add to, compared to the normal attack? -Certified=InsaneUG 03:13, 8 October 2006 (BST) Oh, wait, so you are suggesting an attack that doubles the attack chance for double the APs? Pretty useless... with normal attacks you can get up to 2 hits on 2 APs...-Certified=InsaneUG 03:37, 8 October 2006 (BST) Ah never mind, I just don't get it... I'll keep it kill because 'cades shouldn't be fucked with... ^.- -Certified=InsaneUG 03:38, 8 October 2006 (BST)
  2. Kill - It's not a bad idea but maybe just make it a generic +10% to hit with claws against barricades for a 2 AP optional attack. I'd vote keep for that, it's more efficient to take your time on barricades.. but if you're in a rush 2 AP a pop would be cool too. I love that it goes under MoL, very nice. --MrAushvitz 07:35, 8 October 2006 (BST)
  3. Math Wrong-You got the math wrong. Maxed attacks for claws is 50%...so 25% against barricades. All this does is add +5% for barricade attacks...for 2 AP (if you assume it is 30% to hit). For the orginal attack, it takes a total of 4 AP to take down a barricade. For the latter attack, it takes...3 Attacks, for 6 AP! Wow...Unless, you actually meant +15% for the bonus, meaning a total of 45% to hit. Wouldn't you know? It takes a total of 3 Attacks to totally bring down the barricades...meaning 6 AP TO HIT (for both times, you have a higher chance, but if you miss, you will have to try again...and waste more AP.)! That's right...this is going to be the Syringe Manufracture for Zeds...it is more AP effiecnt to click Attack Barricade with Claw than to use this method. This could make the suggestion seem balanced...if you point it out. But nobody smart would use this method, defeating the purpose for trying to get a buff. Basically, fix the math, and I'll consider voting KEEP.--ShadowScope 05:10, 8 October 2006 (BST)
  4. Kill - Use extra AP for a slightly greater attack? This would only help people who have connections so slow they take half an hour to load the page. Far as I can see, it makes no performance difference at all to anyone else, other than saving IP hits by doing the equivalent of hitting twice in one page refresh. --c138 RR 10:21, 8 October 2006 (BST)
  5. Kill - You got your math wrong, see Kill vote 3. --Nob666 11:04, 8 October 2006 (BST)

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. Uh-oh.....there goes my cades.......lets barricade it back up.....oh noes! Only 3 AP has passed since I caded to EHB and the cades are gone again! What am I gonna do? I can already tell you this....this will be Spamed off this page before you can say Implemented. --Axe Hack 03:05, 8 October 2006 (BST)
  2. Dont mess with the 'cades! - They're the only thing that stops zombies from mauling everyone and this wrecks that.--Mr yawn 07:34, 8 October 2006 (BST)
  3. Spam - Unfixable. Zombies should not get a 'cade destruction buff, unless that same suggestion buffs the survivors 'cading my an equal amount - because it's already balanced just fine. In which case, there's no need to change it. --Funt Solo 08:50, 8 October 2006 (BST)
  4. Spam Don't mess with barricades. --Jon Pyre 11:16, 8 October 2006 (BST)
  5. Don't need fixing. --ExplodingFerret 16:07, 8 October 2006 (BST)
  6. 1+1 = Spam? - A lot of people have said your math is wrong, but since you have neither confirmended or denied that statement I have to assume that maybe you did mean for the math to be how it is. Either way, it's a bad idea, and cades don't need to be modified. --Officer Johnieo 17:06, 8 October 2006 (BST)
Theyre zombies - Remember, that even with Memories of Life, that their still ravenous, bloodthirsty zombies, eager for the taste of human brainz. They arent calm and systematically removing each plastic pine tree, theyr going crazy and trying to get through as fast as they can. --Master Cheif 19:00, 8 October 2006 (BST)
Gold Blade's vote struck. Cyberbob  Talk  22:38, 8 October 2006 (BST)
  7. Spam - What's the point of having something that's twice as likely to hit, but takes twice the AP? You've got a better chance with the 15%. --CaptainM 02:51, 9 October 2006 (BST)
  8. Spam -What are we even supposed to be voting on here?--Pesatyel 04:20, 9 October 2006 (BST)

Scent ?????

Timestamp: Jonny12 12:38, 8 October 2006 (BST)
Type: General improvement I suppose
Scope: Zobies
Description: All I'm proposing is that when a zombie buys Scent ????? (couldn't think of a name); characters on the map with bodybuilding are emboldened. Gives you an idea who to attack if there are two or more characters around you. (like about 5 minutes ago for me, when I thought of this!)

I suppose it could also just be an extra effect of Scent Blood - you decide.

Keep Votes

  1. This is my suggestion. Jonny12 Talk 12:39, 8 October 2006 (BST)
  2. Keep Actually, call it Scent: Sweat then make anyone who doesn't have Bodybuilding show up on your page as being different. Those without bodybuilding would be weaker... therefore better victims.. go with that! Then yes, this skill would be very, very very handy to a zombie! --MrAushvitz 03:04, 9 October 2006 (BST)

Kill Votes

  1. Kill Your skills shouldn't make you more vulerable. --Jon Pyre 13:15, 8 October 2006 (BST)
To this and the vote below: How exactly does it make you more vulnerable? What zombie in their right mind would attack a bodybuilt survior when there's a weaker one available?!?! If anything, this helps both sides - it makes bodybuilt survivors less likely to be attacked and tells zombies which of the two survivors to attack. Jonny12 Talk 15:36, 8 October 2006 (BST)
  2. Kill - Hurts people who have bought Body Building. To a zombie, meat is meat. --Nob666 13:41, 8 October 2006 (BST)
  3. Kill - as above. Besides, its useless.--Mr yawn 14:37, 8 October 2006 (BST)
  4. Kill - Although, if it's meant to scent the bodybuilt folks, so you could call it "Scent B.O." Yeah? Like it? Anyway, one click nets you information on all their skills, not just bodybuilding, anyway, so this is completely redundant. --Rgon 19:31, 8 October 2006 (BST)
  5. Kill - As the unsigned voter said, you can click their name to find out their skills, at no cost to AP or IP hits. --ExplodingFerret 16:10, 8 October 2006 (BST)
  6. Clickity Click! - Much easier just to look at people's profile. Plus, is this a new skill, or a addittion? --Officer Johnieo 17:09, 8 October 2006 (BST)
Addition - Make it an added effect of Scent Blood. --Master Cheif 19:22, 8 October 2006 (BST)
Gold Blade's vote struck. Cyberbob  Talk  22:38, 8 October 2006 (BST)

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. Spam - Scent Blood already shows you the HP value of survivors - what's the point in knowing whether or not they can go up to 60HP? Plus, as others have said, you can see their profile for free. Given those two points, there's nothing to fix this suggestion. --Funt Solo 17:29, 8 October 2006 (BST)
  2. Spam - As with funt. --BBM 18:18, 8 October 2006 (BST)
  3. Spam - Scent blood shows exact HP, and their profile shows if they have bodybuilding. No point in this. --c138 RR 20:05, 8 October 2006 (BST)
  4. Spam - As per Funt. --CaptainM 02:55, 9 October 2006 (BST)
  5. Spam - As Funt Solo. I also add that, often, reading the character's description can be an entertaining bonus.--Pesatyel 04:23, 9 October 2006 (BST)
