I hope you do not mind that I took the liberty of making some minor edits to the spelling and grammar of this page, as well some minor rewording here and there for clarity's sake. --WanYao 21:25, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

Not at all. Thank you. --Experiment211 00:08, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

Bah humbug

And I thought I was being so original when I stumbled across this as a fun game... I was calling it a Fortress of Solitude rather than a Pinata, though. --Cman yall 13:46, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

Helps old zeds, hurts the young ones?

Surprised there isn't more outcry over this, as it seems to violate the spirit of the ransack skill and hinders young zed growth. To be honest? It isn't hard to get the barricades to VS and thus re-enter and fix a building, but dedicated zombie/PK/griefer groups can REALLY lock down entire suburbs this way. Good for the undead who don't desire to feed and want to hold territory, bad for young zombies hungry for brains. Seeing a lot of this in Brooke Hills as of this post. As an aspect of anarchy/death cults, I suppose, this tactic make sense. It'd be nice if a barricade level limit was imposed upon ruined buildings: Only able to hit VS due to ruination damage? --MorthBabid 21:35, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

There's a reason pretty much no one uses it.--Karekmaps?! 05:08, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, it seems to only occur in 'Red' zones: I've so far just noticed thatEastonwood and Brooke Hills, current red zones, get this a lot but only have NT resources, Police Stations, and factories frequently done in this style. --MorthBabid 00:19, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

Not many Survivors have the nerves to hide in red zone ruined building for long even if it has vs+ barricades. So I don't see how this could hurt the young zombies as they could attend to the unruined buildings and the survivors dragged on the streets. But of course this tactics only purpose is to help keeping an area under zombie control you won't make any Xp with it. It's especially effective against the harassment of barricade strafers and the only form of anti-barricading since a normaly ruined building(6AP) only needs 1AP to be repaired. --Experiment211 18:39, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
