Hookups

I'm going to be hooking up with The Second Big Bash with at least one of my zombies, but I'll still be doing my duty to Dead Air by keeping our group name and targeting the tower in each suburb the bash hits. They appear to be in Lockettside right now, but keep an eye on their forums for future targets so that we can get to the towers ahead of the horde. Anyone else care to join in? --sluRKugGK / JushhhuGKH 00:44, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
Sounds good to me after getting multiple headshots in Dulston. I hope the Big Bash wipes that shitty burb from the face of Malton! Will take me a day or two to get to Lockettside, so let me know if the Bash moves on. --SporeSore 23:31, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
The bash moves pretty fast (wiping out a suburb in a day or two right now). Right now they're in Kinch Heights, but keep an eye on their Wiki page. Both of my zombies are still racing to see who can catch up with them first. --sluRKugGK / JushhhuGKH 03:05, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

Tour '07 still going on?

My zombie alts and I are checking statuses by taking a walking tour of Malton (mainly to get the main status page back into shape. Is there a tour group I should join? Asheets 23:33, 28 August 2007 (BST)

Sorry. The tour ended half a year ago, not with an climactic orgasmic gush, but with a pre-ejeculatory dribble.--SporeSore 12:31, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Stale Membership List

Although it appears we have ~50 members, the Urban Dead Group Rankings page lists only 17 active. How should we clean up the membership list? Should we simply delete the list, keeping an historical copy, and start anew keeping only those that have recently signed up? It is crazy to have to add so many non-active profiles to ones contact list. --SporeSore 14:16, 3 April 2007 (BST)

It seems the rankings page is wrong too. I have 35 or so contacts listing Dead Air as their group. They appear to be spelled correctly and everything, but they're not showing up in the stats. It's hard to tell who is idled out (I have from time to time). Most groups probably have this problem too. --JushhhuGKH/sluRKugGK 00:45, 5 April 2007 (BST)

Dead Air Tour 07

This section has been moved. Please click on the link below in the Tour 07 image to proceed to the signup page

I would like to propose a more coordinated tour of Malton. A coordinated attack by a group of 2-3 zeds can bring down any barricade and genny. Ingame coordination of attacks could use X:00 to set attack times. Ideally, members would be divided into ten groups in a north-south line that would sweep simultaneously from west-east across malton. Once all masts in a vertical column of Malton have been brought down, all groups would proceed east to the suburb adjacent. Groups formed by time zone would aid in coordinating attacks. For example, myself(SporeSore), permazombie and Risteard, are all in Judgewood. We could form one group that would traverse the map horizontally from Roywood to Pescodside destroying 2-3 masts per week. We currently have 47 alleged members. This task should be easily accomplished, especially if some members can coerce a few friends to join us. If there is enough interest, I will draft a signup sheet and schedule of attack. Please respond with a name-timestamp here if you are interested. --SporeSore 18:48, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

Allegedly Interested

Okay, a couple of bites. I had hoped for a greater response, but what the hell. What I will do is create a new Dead Air subpage with a map of Malton, similar to the phone mast page, that can be used to track progress. I'll post here again when it is ready.

Mobile Phone Mast page

Hey people, SkullnBones from MalTel here. Wouldn't it be easier for everybody if you just updated the Mobile Phone Mast page? That way, we could see what suburbs would be down, and you could see what suburbs are up. Your Tour page is heavily outdated, now...

Just a thought.

SkullnBones

Some of us have updated the MalTel page. The Tour page is not to show the current status of each tower, but rather the overall progress of the Tour. We just wanted to keep track of what was hit in the past. JushhhuGKH/sluRKugGK 09:23, 15 April 2007 (BST)

Coordinated strikes

Some of us struggle to bring down extremely heavily barricaded mast buildings working on our own. Use this discussion to coordinate strikes for now (using proper indentation of course). 07:49, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

Join the Tower Tour East, currently striking at Denner Towers [94,53] in Dentonside. --sluRKugGK, 07:49, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

happyclam, join me next door in Edgecombe at a Warehouse 74,54 --sluRKugGK, 05:19, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
I'll be right over tomorrow! --happyClam, 23:19, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
What kind of welcome is that, huh? You didn't even stand up to meet me! I cry.
But, yeah. I've gestured all the local zombies towards the warehouse, and started bashing those 'cades... with both of us at it now, we should be in pretty sharpish. --happyClam, 00:04, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
Help needed taking down Stirling Towers in Peppardville --sluRKugGK, 12:16, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Any comments on the new logo? Suggestions? Improvements? --SporeSore 17:43, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

I dig it... it fits well. Now I would like to see some of us get together and do a phone mast tour (going solo is too hard in some suburbs). 22:54, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
I'd be up for that! I'm currently in Roftwood, outside the mall. Oh, and I think the new logo is classy. Raised a big grin when I first saw it. [happyClam] 03:28, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

Huey Long Speaks in !zanbah

I hope I'm not imposing on you guys, but I'd like you to read this circular which I've prepared for distribution to all active zombie groups in Malton:

I, Huey Pierce Long, Jr., will be speaking at Pooll Crescent Police Department in !zanbah (Eastonwood) on April 8th, 2007, concerning his campaign to win the nomination of the Zombiecratic Party in the Mayor of Malton campaign, and I would like to invite your group to send a representative to attend the rally. It is my earnest hope to improve the situation for the lowly, starving ferals of Malton, and I would like to have your support in doing so.

Check out my campaign site for details, and if you like what you see, don't forget to vote for Huey P Long! As always, I can be contacted through my talk page (or that of my alt) if you have any questions, comments, etc. --Huey P Long 04:52, 6 April 2007 (BST)

Malton Special Olympics

It'd be awesome if you guys could sign up and participate in the Malton Special Olympics -- Murray Jay Suskind 15:20, 2 June 2007 (BST)

Caiger Mall

LUE has just smashed Stickling Mall, next stop probably Bale Mall in Yagoton next week some time leaving Caiger Mall the last stop on LUE's current tour ... unless they just march straight through Eastonwood for Caiger. A lot of survivor groups are mobilizing for what should be a very entertaining showdown at Caiger ... but so are all the touring zombie groups. Would Dead Air be interested in joining in the fun and smashing the airwaves in and around the 4 burbs surrounding the Mall? --Zeug 19:43, 10 August 2007 (BST)

The Great Suburb Group Massacre

Stop hand.png Group Active? Request.
In order to maintain the wiki as an up to date source of information groups are occasionally removed from the Suburb pages when they are no longer active. Is this group still active? If so simply confirm here by writing something below. If not it will be removed from suburb pages in 14 days.

Currently the suburb in question is Judgewood but one response to this query will be all that is needed to protect your group link on all suburb pages. I know this is a may seem a stupid request but its for all groups regardless of size. Thank you. --Adavastor 11:46, 30 July 2008 (BST)

Yes, we are active in Judgewood. Asheets 22:34, 30 July 2008 (BST)

This group was confirmed active. Thank you for your reply.

Occasionally, general checks are done of group activity. This may seem like a stupid question, but it's for all groups, regardless of size. -- User:The Rooster RoosterDragon User talk:The Rooster 14:36, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

Dead Air 09 Reunion Tour

Just wanted to see whom from Dead Air was still around besides me. Also, I've got a problem with lifers at The McCarthy Building, Judgewood -- seems they've rallied and managed to bring the mast online for the 1st time in two years. Permazombie could use the help. How 'bout we rally in Judgewood and see what happens? Asheets 22:20, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
