Invitation to Join

I was interested to note your message on my user page inquiring whether I already belonged to a group and if not, to invite me to join EVIL. However:

1. Had you performed basic due diligence (i.e., checking my profile and/or the wiki), you would have noticed that I am already in a group.

2. Although I have an established record as a pker – a small fraction of my crimes are listed here – I was in every case correcting my victims' spelling and grammar. Given the numerous spelling and punctuation errors on your wiki page and in your message to me ('greifer', 'Marian', etc.), I do not think we would be a good fit. (I am also strongly anti-griefer, though this is less obvious from available information.)

In conclusion, I really must decline, and would also suggest that you do a bit of basic research before posting invitations, lest they be interpreted as spam. I wish your group the best of luck with its pking, though not its griefing; please let me know if you would like any editorial assistance cleaning up your wiki page. – Marion Wells 16:59, 28 July 2009 (BST)

Hello. I am Subotei, a member of the CotR. I noticed on our long-abandoned talk page that you guys were interested in working with us. I apologize for how long it took one of us to notice and respond; as I alluded to, we do not check our talk page very often. I myself have just come off an extended leave of absence, and am not particularly familiar with what the situation on the ground is. If this message comes too late and you have already moved on, please disregard it.

Now, the laws of our Church state that PKing is forbidden save to avenge a combat revive (the "Church Edicts" section of our wiki specifically refers to PKers as "Unclean"). Now, I for one would be willing to say that you guys are arms-length enough for those edicts to not really interfere with any sort of cooperation. Honestly, the greatest hindrance at the moment is my lack of knowledge and our own level of activity. I shall make a pilgrimage to the hospitals that were recently besieged and rouse as many of my comrades as I am able before I contact you again. - Subotei's Crotch 07:15, 24 August 2009 (BST)
