Just making sure

Just making sure that you guys know I'm not an impersonator or anything. I got this name way before UD and have been using it ever since. I edited the impersonaters section to make it clear that I'm not trying to mess with you guys or anything. So we're cool, okay? --Paradox244 01:47, 13 July 2006 (BST)

I thought you were already in the clear. We are not concerned a long time by you anymore ;) Enjoy Dunhill PD.

Come Join Us

We've been shambling about with the Big Bash and are currently in Brooksville. We cordially invite you to come on out to the battlegrounds. We'd be honored to meet you on the field of battle. To give you fair warning, though, the Big Bash is rather large and imposing. We've been laying waste to one suburb after another. It would be a daunting task. You should bring reinforcements. Send mahr cops... :-) The Undeadites miss you. Tell Roger II Alurakan sends his love.

PH Crusaders

This is Whap of the PH Crusaders (look at the page before judging us) and I us want to be allies. --Whap 18:59, 10 July 2006 (BST)

Thank you for your concern

We are glad to hear our fans have not forsaken us. Sadly srynges apperently arent working correctly. So im sad to report a lot of Paradox members are now...yuck...death...rotting...

And to safe you the trip, Paradox is now a fully mobile force and is not in Tolly for the time being. Hope you will get your headshot from time to time from us we salute.

Oh, Paradox

Oh, Paradox, what has become of thee? Your numbers were once flourishing and full of promise. Now your group count weighs in at a meager 20. Undeadites number continue to grow. We'd been considering returning to Tollytown to pay you a visit, but now doesn't seems worthwhile. Where are you jibes, now? Your gambols? Your flashes of merriment that were wont to set our horde on a roar? Not one now. Quite chapfallen.

Killing other zombies as zombies

A paradox member attacked and killed me as a zombie. Matt Daemon. I was standing on a non building square, trying to show that i wasn't looking for a free lunch while waiting for a revive and got picked off by a paradox member who was also a zombie. Players killing players is PK'ing Zombies Killing Zombies is Pk'ing only its Zking. We don't hold the group responsible, but hope that you don't go out of your way to attack zombies on non building square when there are very very many to attack elsewhere in this vicinity and especially as a zed. I know...tough shit, stop whining, but just letting you know...The Wanderers--Lovemachine 06:08, 24 June 2006 (BST)

Excuse me for the late response, i didnt notice you at the bottom. Ill put the word trough to the one involved and Im sure this will be a once-upon-a-time incident :) --Seen 03:33, 17 July 2006 (BST)

S.T.A.R.S Request an Allience

As it would appear we are both fighting long grueling wars with the bastard cultists known as the PH. Im sure we both know eachothers group names, but we have not made an official allience. So...theres our request!

-Chris Hollis

A thanks for your support

A most varied and valued thanks for joining the fight on the 5th of November. You will truly rock the foundations of our enemy. --Codename V 02:57, 25 May 2006 (BST)

PH Extermination needs your Support

PH_Extermination I know you guys would be on this--Virus002 17:52, 20 May 2006 (BST)

Dear Paradox

Guys, I'm going out on a limb and assuming that you are on a hunt for the PH. We bear no love for them either as they defaced some of our wiki entries. Our joint presence in Tollyton was mere coincidence. Good luck in your hunt. We've since shambled out of Tollyton. Next time we're in the area we'll be sure to pay our old friends a visit - wouldn't want to be rude. - ZombieMcAllen April 25th, 2006, 14:08 GMT

Dear Zombies

We appologize for not giving you a good reception wenn you arrived. Unfortunatly we were in the middle (and still are) of a very secret opperation to remove a certain unnamed group from the city. Now that they are seemingly getting rarrer barricades are getting tougher in Tolly again as you might have noticed ;-) Hope you will still enjoy your visit to our buatifull suburb - Seen April 21th, 2006, 13:49 GMT

Undeadites

Guys,

We've come back to Tollyton to pay you a visit. Good to see that there are still a few of you around, but there haven't been enough to post much of a resistance. Tollyton is caving faster than an igloo in summer. Where has your fight gone? Come on out. We want to play. - ZombieMcAllen April 17th, 2006, 12:55 EST

PARADOS: eat our eggs by behind //PH Rulez!!!

Hola churrumetes!!!

Saint Poly is love and and we ordered to distribute them it

So who is Paradox, and why do they keep heavily barracading buildings? --Brasswatchman 05:29, 7 Oct 2005 (BST)

PARADOX = LOSERS

Central Malton

I started an article about the middle of the city, and current focus of almost all activity right about. The Central Malton article has had three drafts, all by me, and needs a little more diversity. Raelin is helping by making a map box, but I need help from other groups in the area to give their perspective, and remove any doubt that my affiliation with the Scourge or sheer ignorance biases the article. I'll be putting this on the talk pages of some other groups in the area, as well, to try and get all viewpoints. I don't know if Paradox members are active in the wiki community, but if any of you are, I'd love to see you contribute.--Insomniac By Choice 06:47, 26 Oct 2005 (BST)

Hey now, come on. I didn't say you were wiped out -- I said "either wiped out or forced to retreat," since all we knew was that the mall had been cleaned out. The clarification is welcome, but there's no need to be snarky on the history entry. Also, "gubbins" means something like "gadgets" or "thingamabobs." -- James Holloway 20:48, 5 Nov 2005 (GMT)

Paradox members are active on the wiki. We just don't say much.

Paradox follows the universal barricading policy. There will be problems, however, caused by non-Paradoxians who are unaware of the policy.

'Wiping out' anything in a game without permanent death is an usual claim to make and so was a superfluous entry into the Paradox section. Gubbins actually means "worthless items of little use, the names of which you have forgotten". It wasn't meant to be taken as 'snarky' nor as anything but the usual quick reference in the history logs as to what was changed.

Gubbins. So now you know; I doubt you forgot what "words" were called, right? Not trying to be petty, just that people misusing archaic British slang is an odd little pet peeve of mine. --James Holloway 09:18, 28 Nov 2005 (GMT)

Then I'd suggest using a more comprehensive dictionary such as OED. Makes you look not only petty but also badly tutored when you try to be a pedant but screw it up. A pet peeve of mine with internet warriors.

Your original use makes sense using neither definition ("gubbins" in this sense always refers to objects or items, not to statements), so I hardly think the distinction is important. But I'm not trying to be an "internet warrior" or start any kind of argument. I wouldn't even have intruded on your group page, except that I was worried that people reading the entry would think that Woodroffe was a safe place to be, which at the time, of course, it wasn't. --James Holloway 17:56, 28 Nov 2005 (GMT)

I'd still recommend the OED, third definition and the relationship of gubbins to gobbet (second definition) But I'll end today's lesson there :)

Thank you for your concern over any survivors who had missed the Woodroffe Mall entries but solely looked at the Paradox page during the first week of November.

You know what? You're right. Just today I came across someone on a mailing list I'm on saying "old gubbins" to mean something like "lip, backtalk." My bad. As for the second point, I updated pretty much every page relating to Woodroffe. What can I say? I'm a completist. --James Holloway 04:44, 3 Dec 2005 (GMT)

Are you guys still in Whittenside? - Elmarto B.M.C.

Some are close, why? --Lustindarkness 02:00, 30 Dec 2005 (GMT)

You're on the Whittenside wiki page as listed there. I was wondering if it was up to date. I tried to put in a little about your presence there yesterday when I wrote a bit about the BMC (also in Whittenside). I was just checking I was accurate in saying you're there because (do disrespect) I haven't seen any sign of your current presance there. You may want to check the Whittenside wiki, see if what I wrote meets with your approval, and perhaps build on it. - ElMarto.

Paradox and PKing

Some people by the names of, MrWinters, Bluejay2099, Merc89, and others showed up at the Whatmore building in Yagoton. And began killing people Right and left, all had Paradox tags, you either tell them to stop or I'll ask that people add your group to the PKer list also. Rogue 08:49, 27 February 2006

RedZeko, Rozozag, Uber L337 PKer, MrWinters, MrsWinters, Merc89, Bluejay2099, Warren Phage. I am of the beleif that these people are not actually Paradox as they are Disciples of Zeko but things should be done. --NathanDansforth 10:44, 27 February 2006 (GMT)

Recently a number of members of the PKer cult Disciples of Zeko have been impersonating Paradox members. Paradox has been vehemently against PKers since its inception, and has counted some of the most noted bounty hunters in the game among its ranks. I would like to thank Nathan for noticing us of these people, appropriate action will be taken. -RedKetchup, Paradox February 27th 2006

Then they are my targets. -Rogue

Turns out they're nothing more than idiot zergers. I'm surprised the anti-zerging measures havent yet stopped them. - Vengashii

Report PKers - let everyone know who the bastards are! --Gilant 04:19, 7 April 2006 (BST)

And here they come

You thought is was over, didn't you? You thought the little pesky Disciples of Zeko were out of your hair and were nothing more than a few murderous zergers. Think again. Everything that has happened in the last four weeks in Tollyton has been under the plans and watchful eyes of the god of murder. Soon, the Minions of the Apocolypse will crack you skulls and drink your blood. Thanks to the planning of RedZeko, you will be no more. Once our plan has been completely fulfilled, and Paradox is no more, the disciples of zeko will dance on your graves. Farewell, my worthy adversaries.

Red Mafiya requests a close allience

It was brought to my attention that your members are straggling to stay alive in Tollyton. We would like an alliance with your powerful group and together we will clear out the Zombie scum from Tollyton! Give us an answer as soon as possible. (Red Mafiya - Tommy Versetty)

rejection of AlliAnce

Your information is wrong. And as long as your strugle with some people of the north and drag those zombies to us you are on a very thin edge of becomming our enemies. Consider this your last warning. --Seen 04:49, 2 June 2006 (BST)

San Poli Risen

Just a note to Fred Bronson of Paradox. Unfortunately, SanPoliRisen, no matter what else he may be, is NOT a member of the PH group. As a member of the Special Tactics And Rescue Squad, I can attest that he serves an entirely different purpose. Don't feel toooooo bad, he gets PK'd a lot. Such is his lot in life, saddled with the nom de plume he has.

Speaking of the PH, they have begun putting S.T.A.R.S. in their group name. Now you can add griefers to their long list of crimes. Fortunately, there are NO S.T.A.R.S. members with ph in their names, such as phjubi, phmiliko etc. etc. If you see a known PH member with S.T.A.R.S. in their group name, please kill them & give them my regards as you do so.

Good hunting. Pvt. Shicklegruber - Special Tactics And Rescue Squad

The Last Call for Liberty

Your pledge to the V for Ridleybank cause has not gone unheard. View the last words of Codename V at the 5th of Nvember page before the liberation of Malton's heartland. I have spoken once more to rally and excite you in this time of vengence! --Codename V 04:51, 13 October 2006 (BST)
