Barricade Plan

Please note that Peppe Park[19,86] is and has been marked as a revive point for more than a year now; due to its proximity to Lockettside the 'Sards have been monitoring it so you don't have to worry about maintenance, just make note. --Aurorasprite15 22:40, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
OK, I've changed Peppe Park to RP -- Soccerfan666 MFD | RCS 12:52, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

I've been tagging Honeybone and tearing down 'cades to VS+2 as safe haven for non-freerunners when Tikhon is under seige. Can I get that changed on the barricade plan? - Elbert Gray 22:36, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Original Barricade Plan

Here is the proposed Barricading plan for Ruddlebank. The White squares are EH barricading, the squares with dots are to be VS barricaded. --Zeke 03:08, 24 May 2006 (BST) Ruddlebank UBP.png

I'd like to request that the plan be changed so that the Furzer Building, the factory beside that, and the Panes Building all be given EH barricading, with Dudden Bank, Green Drive School, and the Coopey Building serving as entrances for the area. -Damien Sahm, Manager of the Ruddlebank division of MalTel --LtR 10:49, 7 May 2006 (BST)

Hope this isn't a stupid question, but why are the churches highlighted differently? Are they exempt from the barricading plan? --Kyle Ryback RCS 13:39, 13 October 2006 (PDT)

Kindly drop Honeybone Museum to VS+2. Non-freerunners from Tikhon use is as shelter during attacks. - elbert gray, Tikhon Medical

New Baricade Plan (April 2007)

Are we proposing that almost all of the Resource buildings be only VS? That seems incredibly risky. We would be far better off keeping a subset of them at VS for newbies and encouraging them to get Free Running as soon as possible. Also, the cemetery at 85,15 is a revive point designated by the Legion of the Octopope, and I've updated the map to reflect thatCannywizard 01:14, 12 April 2007 (BST)

As someone who has taken up resisdence in Ruddlebank only about three weeks ago I have to agree. Having virtually all of your resource buildings at VS, which one zed with a mere 4-5 levels can easily breach by himself seems not only risky but downright foolish. At least half of the resource buildings should be kept EH, imho. Those extra levels of cading can make all the difference, not just physically but psychologically. Since a zed knows he isn't likely to breach them alone many of them will wander off to less well fortified buildings. As I say, this is just my opinion, based largely on watching Edwards Hospital get broke in to every day for the last four days like clockwork. VS is just too darn weak for a valuble, powered res building.Feyd Toblak 16MAY07

The Protectorate

The Protectorate was created today... -- boxy T L ZS Nuts2U DA 11:02, 10 May 2007 (BST)

the Lawson Arms

Hi all. I've taken control over the Lawson Arms (89,17) as a safe haven, run by the myself and the United Bar Alliance. I'd like to change the building to VS++ instead of EH. If there aren't any objections, I'll change the plan in a few days. Ozfard played by --SirBlastalot 15:41, 9 June 2007 (BST)

Well, no-one objected, so I'll just change that...--SirBlastalot 16:05, 10 June 2007 (BST)

Changes

I've replaced the rather basic BP template with a shiny new deluxe version. I've also moved it to the top of the page and added a section for changes below. I figure people come here to see the plan not the arguments.

Changes to the Barricade Plan

If you wish to change the barricade plan, please post your proposed change here, explaining why you wish to do so and post in the news section of the main page that a change is proposed. If after a week, no-one has objected, you may make the change.

Hugh General Hospital

With Etheldreda at EHB+, I'd like to bring Hugh to VSB. Etheldreda is a good fall-back position for both Hugh and Tarasius in Spicer Hills. If we keep Hugh and Tarasius at VSB, it makes for a nice arrangement of three hospitals that is lowbie-friendly and somewhat simple to defend. Extropymine 21:37, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

After no comments, I am making the change. ~ extropymine Talk | NW | 4Corners 23:13, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Sly Place Police Department

Keep it EHB plz... It's better for prevent the entrance to Gk'rs Rk'rs & others... Besides C.H.E.L.A. is using it like HQ's, in place of it we recommended enter here by Rodeney Bank (11, 87)

Tnx a lot.Obsdark 22:12, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

Hulin Drive FD

I just Tried to leave Hulin Drive FD, Only to Find out that it has been upgraded to EHB! --Tai Kamiya2 23:27, 13 July 2008 (CDT)

I can't imagine why both Hugh AND Etheldreda are EHB. Considering the fact that both Tikhon AND Edward have been overbarricaded to EHB as well, I'm moving on to a suburb more amiable to survivor survival. Four hospitals and not a single one to be entered! And people wonder why folks are sleeping in the streets and getting munched on... --Morgen Blair 10:31, 5 September 2007 (BST)

Yeah, i just got revived and i couldnt find a single building to enter! Lucky someone healed me in the night or i wouldve been a gonner... This place needs more VSB and less EHB! - Nitro378

General Issues

Reporting that the barricade plan is not being followed- the hospitals are both overbarricaded. Gethsemane 07:07, 26 May 2008 (BST)

The above issue is ongoing, and as a result there is a large group of newbie survivors that are essentially stuck sitting inside the hospital with nothing to do. We need to be more considerate of the new players. They come to the safer areas for a reason. --Ewan Devlin 13:27, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

Tikhon is now accessible - Zip Loc 18:35, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Just something, Strange FD is EHB, i tried to go in, but it said that the building was EHB! Anyone want to do something about it? - Zip Loc 18:37, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
