LCD going historical

Hi guys, it was really nice to have you as our allies, it's sad for me but LCD is dead. I would really appreaciate if you guys could vote for us on the historical voting page.

May your hunt be swift and deadly,

Farewell, Farewell....

Hiya! Long Time no see, Just wanted to stop by, say Hi, tell you to read my page if you want to know "The Story". Also, Don't bother going to M/VB, I'll do that myself after this edit. --DarkStar2374383 Talk | LDY | LOE 08:38, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

Goodbye then, I guess... --Abi79 AB 14:56, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
That has got to be one of the most pathetic and saddest "stories" I've ever read. I'm glad I could be a part of your blind all-consuming rage. I hope UDHelp realizes the kind of bad, manipulative people that are out in the world and can put people like you in their rightful place -- under her heel. You are a spiteful, awful slug of a person. My only hope is that by leaving the game you realize there is much more to life. I don't know how old you are, but I hope it's young enough to learn from this and become a better person. Good luck with life. P.S. -- You've never met me, unless you mean my character in the game. Paranoia will detroy ya, buddy. --dementus AB 12:00, 29 October 2006 (EST)

My my Dementus, flaming them, yet them not being allowed to post on your page. It's funny you call him a slug of a person, because you sound like one yourself. And he said he left, so why are you adding insult to injury?

EDIT: Why don't you flame DarkStar where he can defend himself, instead of flaming where he cannot? Only proves my point that you guys can dish it, but can't take it.

Sweet jesus, you guys need some people skills. At least Abi was civil. --Anticitizen 21:38, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

The "I hate you because I couldn't join you" bit was a bit of an anticlimax to all this spite, but meh. Bye, see you around.
Absolution, Dementus response was a bit off, yes, but I think you're way off the line with the 'adding to insult' part. If anyone should be insulted, it's us. Months of lies, petty annoyance and downright malevolence for this reason? Multiple people we're falsely accused, people we're driven from the game for this. Anyway, if DS wants to martyr himself, so be it. His henchman are circling like vultures, I'm sure. --Doubler 21:45, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
Something about that "I hate you because I couldn't join you" thing just rubs me the right way. I've known DarkStar since this all started, and he's never wanted to join you.

And this is far from a martyr. He hasn't gone around using it as a crutch. He just basically said "I'm tired of all the friggin drama, so I'm gone". And he wanted to ban himself so he didn't TRY to come back. --Absolution 21:56, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

I think you should look again. He isn't the one using it as a crutch, it's the "good Desensitized folks" (A few actually, but he needen't mention). His self-banning was a completely unnecessary bit of drama for his grand finale and all too typical. Come on, so he didn't TRY to come back? Isn't that final speech all too riddled with spite, insinuations and drama in itself to refute the claim you just made? The drama was (and is) almost exclusively coming from his side for a while now.
These are my own opinions, by the way. I don't speak for the Abandoned here.
And about it rubbing wrong, yes, so it did with us. Mostly because as far as we know we've never really refused someone like that. --Doubler 22:03, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

Mostly I was just piping on about how Dementus seems to blow off everyone he talks to. I mean, look above when Xoid tried to help the abandoned out...Dementus came off with a holier-than-thou attitude. And on the whole DarkStar thing, he's gone, so let's just shut up about it. --Absolution 22:07, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

I didn't post "where he can defend himself" because we're not supposed to be posting on his pages nor he here. He posted here, this is where I responded. Seems simple to me. "Dish it but not take it?" Who's the one that can dish it and not take it? The one spying around with someone else's forum access, laughing when she takes his lumps for him, and spending months on a revenge kick or someone he singled out in his last dramatic death scene? (Read the bit with Xoid again -- he offered help by taking a dig at us about how many of us ASS had killed -- not much of a nice offer of assistance. You'll also read we worked out the main issue -- a misunderstaning of role-play -- long ago.) As for a flame, this isn't a flame. This is what you get when you treat people badly; they treat you badly back. I'm a believe-it-when-I-see-it guy. If Darkstar does leave never to return, then good for him. The proof is in the action -- not the words. He was doing a pretty good job turning bounty hunter in game, and then left this story of sturm und drang? There was little apology to be seen in it. I'm not impressed. Sorry if that's "mean" to you, but I find what Darkstar did to UDHelp very reprehensible. Trust is earned; not given. I truly do hope he never comes back here and moves on with a better attitude. (And if he truly knows UDHelp personally, a personal apology is in order. The guy used a person in real life (and her access) to get ahead in a game about zombies, for god's sake.) --dementus AB 04:47, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
I for one consider that it's not good to be bad to people, even if they are bad to you. Except for the way he chosed to play Urban Dead, DarkStar doesn't seem a very bad guy. Of course I may be wrong, but something tells me I'm not. I managed to be a friend with most of the 'bad' guys in my school. The teachers and other children are still amazed of this, but anyway, I think everyone has a good side, just that not everyone shows it too often. A plain "Goodbye" would have been in order. --Abi79 AB 11:25, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
That's a fine policy, Abi. I generally believe in that, too. However, sometimes a person deserves to be told in no uncertain terms that what they did was wrong. No nicey-nice; no hand holding. It's isn't the game stuff that is the problem; it's that Darkstar crossed a line to actually abusing someone's trust and prvate accounts. As a computer tech, I have access to a lot of private info. I don't use it, abuse it, read it, or mess with it. Darkstar stepped way over the line when he went beyond the game, used UDHelp's account and stood by while her fun was ruined. I'm not convinced from his "farewell" that he cares, and he should apologize directly to her at the least if possible. And I do mean it when I wish him good luck. --dementus AB19:39, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
Uh, what, Snotty? If I was rubbing in how many the ASSault killed, I'd be pointing out our trophy list, or bandying around the actual bodycount. I merely noticed that while I was collecting your profiles that your page was woefully out of date in regards to the one aspect I could easily fix. Seeing that this had to do directly with information about your characters, something people often prefer remained unrevealed I couldn't be certain that it was not intentional that they were out of date so I asked first. –Xoid MTFU! 10:38, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
Uh, what Xoidy? I was explaining something to a previous poster. One can go back to see that you wrote "Considering the relatively complete listing of Abandoned members ASS has managed to collect" which is a pretty snide way to offer assistance. You could have written "Would you like me to help update" but instead you mentioned you had "managed to collect" us. Whether you meant one thing and wrote this, well, there you go. Just as you all thought I was flaming you on your talk page when I was role-playing and then all hell evolved from it, I thought "managed to collect" was another flame/dig too. I don't think it's a stretch to think so considering the chaos when it occurred. --dementus AB 07:10, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
Snide? It was a relatively complete listing, I think I was missing the probies (at most) when I wrote that. Simple statement of fact. I can be rather blunt at times. –Xoid MTFU! 01:32, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

Good luck out there... I enjoyed the brief battle we had for awhile when there was still fighting. Although it's my opinion that you might take things too seriously. To get angry over a video game, (a text based one, at that) is pretty pitiful for any human being (I should know, I used to get like that)

See you around, I guess. Good luck in the real world, --Private Mark

EDIT (By Private Mark): Let's just drop it guys. No good will come out of arguing over a man of whom we cannot be sure of his true personality. For all we know, he could be a pretty good guy in real life, and 90% of that BS he fed us was probably roleplaying alone. For all we know, he really is an asshole in real life. The point is, he's left (or claimed to have left) and even left us a departing rp-styled goodbye note.

That's that. Personally, I'm closer up with Abi's point of view, making friends with those considered "bad" and all that. Not to get into any politics or anything, I'm actually half and half on this issue somewhat, although as I said above, I don't hold grudges much anymore.

Meh. I've said enough. At any rate, with Darkstar gone and no zombies around, things have been a little too quiet in our nice section of the city.

You know McCampos that you can sign as Private Mark (providing there isn't a preexisting Private Mark on the wiki). You can even set it up in Special:Preferences to do so for you, instead of having to sign manually when using a signature with a different nickname than your user name. It's also customary to include a timestamp on your posts, don't quite understand why you deleted yours after the fact. –Xoid MTFU! 10:38, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
Oh... well, that makes things a lot easier, lol. Thanks for the information, Xoid. And as for the timestamp... being the wiki-newbie that I am, I still don't know how to make those automatically. *reads up on it*....

EDIT: Wow. I really am a newbie. Right... thanks for the help anyways, Xoid.--Private Mark 05:35, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

I'm sorry to see Darkstar go, but don't worry. Some of us are still making an effort. --Eric Wolton 23:16, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

We won't worry, Eric. We know you guys care about us he he. ;) --Abi79 AB 12:20, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Yo guys, how was he able to post on this page anyway? I thought when one was "restricted", it literally blocked them from changing anything.... --Private Mark 22:57, 2 November 2006 (BST)

Nope. He just gets told not to post, but isn't restricted from editing the page and posting. --Abi79 AB 16:16, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
I'll just add that DarkStar2374383 got banned for 48 hours over his post here. While it is a "just told not to post", there are consequences for misbehaviour. –Xoid MTFU! 10:38, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

Yesamesh, Greetings from the Rangers

Hello, My name is Dickhole the Great and I lead the Malton Rangers and our plan is to spearhead the NMC's efforts into Yagoton. You guys have aided us in the past, and we're returning the favor. If one of you guys would be so kind as to post on our [Our Forums] as to where you need the most aid, and where a good safehouse is, we'd be much obliged

Help reviving!

Hello, from a long time ago! I joined back in 2005, and then got unaddicted from forced lack of UrbanDead during the Christmas season. I was inducted under the name "Dana ?????" and do not have any clue what last name I'd given the character. If any of you old-timers could please check your contacts list, I'd be very grateful! --Juntzing 02:54, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

Hunh. Dana Lomack. Jumped out and hit me just now... So, how should I get myself back up to speed? The bookmark to The Abandoned forums is a dead link, sadly. I'll reapply for membership, if needed. --Juntzing 08:22, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Private Mark here, Juntzing, if you want to rejoin us, the link on the main page of the Abandoned wiki under "contact" will direct you to our current forums. From there, you should know the drill. --Private Mark 20:58 December 2024 (CDST)

PKing BME Members

I will be the new contact for BME - at least on the wiki - and I have a problem. Our old in-game and wiki leader Legend X has asked that I remove Valarauker off BME's enemy list. I have refused to do it so far - in fact just added him - because Wayne Smith sent me an email and screenshot showing Valarauker PKing him. He said Valarauker has done it before also. Can someone talk to Valarauker and get him to stop killing Bale Mall Elite members. I do not want conflict at this time and Legend X as a new member of The Abandoned wants a smooth transition but that will be hard if this guy keeps killing us for no reason. Thanks Terrible Man 18:54, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

Wayne Smith? We don't have his as a PK'er on our list. Actually, on our udtool list, he is listed as part of the BME, and also colored with a light blue color, not like PK'ers with bright red... hey, wait. How was the killer's name? ValaraukEr, with 'e'? Also, could you send me the screenshot? --Abi79 AB 19:39, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
I do not have the screenshot anymore but I did see it. It said Valarauker - group name Abandoned. He was very high level - not a newbie imposter. can you just ask Valarauker for me? Wayne IS a BME member. Terrible Man 14:35, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
He knows about it. The problem is that while Wayne is your member, Valarauker isn't ours. Valaraukar is. We have been impersonated in the past. Think this might be the case again? Valaraukar is an old member, and he hasn't done anything wrong until now as far as we know. Cheers! --Abi79 AB 17:52, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Is The New Inquisition is dead?

You guys seen them around anywhere lately? Looks like their group page is up for a speedy delete; We should speak up if we know them to be currently active or not. --MorthBabid 23:25, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Our last reports seem to date back to november - Five of their members participated in a raid on Whatmore on November 3d. But to be honest, we never had many dealings with them, I doubt we'd know if they had a couple of people active somewhere. --Doubler 23:51, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
I dare to say that I never saw any of their members, nor got PK'ed by one. I always wondered where the allies of the Neon Knights were... --Abi79 AB 18:51, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
Along with the other guys, I haven't seen ANY of them around... ever... --Private Mark 04:33, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Yagoton Phone Mast

I see on the phone mast page that your group has volunteered to help maintain it. I'm in the neighborhood, but am having trouble keeping the place going. I also haven't seen any of your membership around. Are you available to help? Thanks from MalTel and Asheets 22:11, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

Right now we are busy in the SW and SE of Yagoton with the zombies, but I shall try to find and send someone over there to help you. Cheers! --Abi79 AB 15:58, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

Sons of Liberty Project

The zombies are advancing and soon all survivor groups will be unable to defend themselves against the zombie horde. I propose that we unite groups under one banner- the Sons of Liberty. We shall act as one sweeping force. Let's combine our groups into one awesome force- Malton will never be the same. --Gehennanow 01:14, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

If we are to die, we shall die. I am sorry, but The Abandoned are against combining with another survivor group. We have our own set of unwritten rules. Cheers! --Abi79 AB 17:19, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
The Abandoned do not fall easily, and we shall soon give this zed menace a good come-uppance in the end! All will ph34r our righteous flare guns of d0000m! --Private Mark 00:55, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

The wiki has been upgraded to the latest version. That's why there's no toolbar yet. Also, we are not going to join your group, Cody. As I said, we do not want to join a conglomerate and abide others' rules. The survivors will find another way to win. We always do. --Abi79 AB 16:22, 31 March 2007 (BST)

'Known Threats/Spies' list?

Heya folks. One of your members drew to my attention that while the YRC page does a good job at providing threats in terms of groups, or general way of dealing with threats is "Go talk to the Abandoned". But that's a pretty vague answer, really. I was wondering if you guys had a specific site or page dedicated to specific users? The YRC doesn't really maintain such a list beyond 'Rotters for our own reasons, but that doesn't mean we can't link interested folks and volunteers to any lists YOU fine gents and ladies have come up with. --MorthBabid 00:40, 13 April 2007 (BST)

We have a list, but it is restricted to our Trusted Members only. In case you guys get PK'ed, then post on this page the pk'ers profile ID and a screenshot. We have our own UDTool list which will be updated to notify our members of PK'ers or clinic annoyances. --Abi79 AB 16:16, 17 April 2007 (BST)
Great, and glad to hear you're still using the "screenshots only" clause. I'll think up a good way to make this more clear on the YRC main page. :) --MorthBabid 23:56, 20 April 2007 (BST)

Query:Rogue Member perhaps?

One of our members was PKed by a person claiming to be in your group, Halkor, the screenshot is here. What's his story? --Ahote 22:12, 27 May 2007 (BST)

He's another impersonator so feel free to blast him, in fact you'd be doing a general service to the community. Don't know what's in the air at the moment, something bringing these guys out like dung beetles on a freshly laid one.--McBlackjack 12:31, 31 May 2007 (BST)

Query:Kip Saunders PKed

I've been PKed by 1 of your members for being a zerger sited on the Resensitized board which I have reported to Brainstock. And again waiting for a revive in St Swithun's Church by Kelynn. I am assuming that you are taking this as fact? But I can assure you I am not a zerger and I have pleaded my case on Brainstock. see One Man & His Dog for details. Many thanks --Kip Saunders 03:39, 28 May 2007 (BST)

Which member PK'ed you? --Abi79 AB 13:17, 31 May 2007 (BST)
It was this guy http://217.112.87.10/profile.cgi?id=410193. But just to make you aware of situation I've been put on the zerger list for having the same surname as another Resensitized cited zerger. FYI I've also been taken out today by http://217.112.87.10/profile.cgi?id=654460 sporting your group name too. I am in the proccess of trying to get off this list as I am innocent of the said zerging crime. Many thanks --Kip Saunders 20:56, 1 June 2007 (BST)
Those two, along with Halkor, are just pretending to be members of The Abandoned. Actually, they aren't. They kill us also. --Abi79 AB 14:35, 3 June 2007 (BST)
Thanks for letting me know. --Kip Saunders 17:38, 4 June 2007 (BST)

Pk'er using your name?

Hi, I was attacked and killed by a person named Butcher who said "The Abandoned sentenced you to death" Hehas your group as his affiliations, as well. I do not know this person, I have never Pk'ed anyone, ever, as I'm sure Private Mark can tell you. I know for a fact that the abandoned would never do such a thing without serious consideration, and not without just cause, so I'm sure this fellow is an imposter. Just thought you might want to know, to add him to the list.--Stuartbman 23:21, 22 June 2007 (BST)

Thank you for his profile. There's been an influx of PK'ers using our group name lately. Oh, well. Misinformation is a great tool for anyone and against anyone, I say. --Abi79 AB 07:33, 28 June 2007 (BST)

McZeds™World

Dear Sir, I am writing to you with a prospect. I know the Abandoned isn't particularly into SE Yagoton, but I am forming a theme park there, and I would like some *ahem* security personnel. This wouldn't involve much, just a minimal presence, maybe 1 or 2 ground troops, no comittment but you would be the official sponsors of McZedsWorld.Tell me what you think. Ps. I also need staff for all the attractions, if you have any members thta might be basing themselves there, then it'd save me some hassle.--Stuartbman 22:50, 18 July 2007 (BST)

Hello, hello. I am sorry for the late response. We don't really have the man power to guard every building, but considering that we use to throw parties at Club *giggles* McClean, we will try to pass through your theme park more often. In case you require any specific help (besides the staff for attractions... maybe Maxime could be the main attraction), feel free to request it. --Abi79 AB 07:04, 23 July 2007 (BST)

Sending out 'order' to YRC members

Well, more of a suggestion, but its the best idea I got so far for my 'troops'. The YRC has always been a volunteer program, but I've gone ahead and advised folks to start heading towards the following suburbs since Yagoton has recently gone from being the last line of defense into being the latest outbreak hotzone: Millen Hills, Lamport Hills, Raines Hills, Pashenton, or Santlerville. They'll head to these areas, and hopefully help out as they can. I don't know enough info on these suburbs to be more specific. If you've got your own suggestions or specific support zones that need help, do tell and I'll pass it on. Malton needs help all over, and we're not too proud to help our neighbors when helping ourselves would be a selfish and one-sided battle. --MorthBabid 05:35, 26 August 2007 (BST)

Eastern Millen Hills/Western Raines Hills would be an ideal location for YRC members. We are in the process of reviving and resupplying each other, so that we may push back. Hang in there. --Abi79 AB 14:18, 27 August 2007 (BST)

Was there a specefic

reason you decided not to join Viva la revolution?--Darkmagic 23:18, 2 October 2007 (BST)

Which was what again?--Darkmagic 22:26, 13 October 2007 (BST)
That we do not want to take orders from someone, nor to merge our forum with another one. We would like to be as independent as possible, but still help our allies. --Abi79 AB 16:06, 14 October 2007 (BST)
i don't give orders.--Darkmagic 01:01, 15 October 2007 (BST)

You can keep asking on, but allow me to ask you first: Do you want an honest answer? --Doubler 23:16, 15 October 2007 (BST)

That we do not want to take orders from someone,:Then don't follow my orders til you are ready for said activities. nor to merge our forum with another one: Then have somebody be a represenative on my forum, that shopws the general agreement or disagreement or whatever, --Darkmagic 02:14, 16 October 2007 (BST)
(fixed your post. --Private Mark 23:55, 17 October 2007 (BST))
To better explain it, lots of players had this idea, but so far only NMC was successful. I would suggest us all to be allies and offer our help rather than try to make our individual council of leaders time and time again. Why fight for power, when you can fight for the future of humanity? --Abi79 AB 20:48, 19 October 2007 (BST)

Darkmagic, I can give my own reasons why I'd vote against us joining you. I don't know what my own reasons are still worth, but these are very fundamental issues too: I don't share your ideas and I don't have faith in your orginization, and its leadership. --Doubler 22:55, 19 October 2007 (BST)

You sdon't have faith in the non pker/zeds of malton? Interesting...--Darkmagic 23:56, 20 October 2007 (BST)
I gave an honest reply Darkmagic, and you knowingly twist it around. If you want more detail:
My faith lies in both zeds and surf's. We need both sides, and I'd like both to have the best game possible. As far as that's concerned a good update is an update when it improves the game for both groups, and at that point it matters little who the update is for. For example, right now an update that would make more people decide to play zed would be a good update, for both sides. If I were to look at your group page, I'd say I disagree with half of point 1, and 3 and 5 (4?) pretty much entirely. For your 'ideologies', I disagree with the first two, and consider the third to be utter nonsense.

1: Balance the game in a way that survivors get quality updates along with zombies, in order to keep one side from being stronger : You don't want balance?

2: Restate issues that plague the survivor cause such as pkers, zombies and other evil's.:don't ask me about 3: spread more unity among the players and keep them from having sencless human-human wars and wasting valuable resources aginst one-another instead of zombie's.Nonsence??? how 5: co-ordinate the revive effort and define a true revive point to a temporary oneDon't ask me its the firsts--Darkmagic 02:26, 21 October 2007 (BST)

About the goals. The first one: I think your intentions are fine, but I don't see how the first part works out. I think you're falsely seperating the surf' updates from the zed updates for an update to be 'quality'. To continue, I made a mistake in my previous message. I meant to disagree with entire point 2, not 3. (3 is fine) This, because the zeds are not 'an issue that plague survivors'. Also, I don't like pk'ers any more then you do, and I'd really like to see their (godlike) abilities culled a bit, but I do not see therm as some evil to eliminate. As for point 5: That's too fixed. Not a good way for these things to work. Besides, RP's will always remain in the hands of those who operate them. You can't, and shouldn't, change that.
Now your ideologies. (different from your goals, if you check your own group page) The first one establishes some kind of arbitrary elite in your orginization, and at the same time establishes a second tier othat is so woefully inefficient and prone to mistakes/swings of opinion that there's no hope of it to work well :P - The second one: Too invasive. Dictating people how to play is not to my liking. Besides, you're way too quick to fight people for a group that wishes to bring unity to the survivor cause ;) - The third one: Meaningless. After 'an undetermined period of time' (probably never) you will 'decide on what to do to truly balance the game'. Doesn't really say much, now does it? Doesn't really do much, now does it? Besides, if anything this shows how much influence you intent to gain on people's play and indeed, the game as a whole if you really think you can determine such measures by your lonely selves. Passing it through some sort of classic democracic congregation doesn't change much of that. It's likely to end as either a puppet, or the instance to make sure nothing (substantial) gets done. For that matter, the wiki performs most of these functions already, in a less megalomaniacal and surf'-oriented way --Doubler 13:35, 21 October 2007 (BST)
That was long... I don't want personal glory, neither did the first, the council is, in his words, to counter balance the mistrust he had in the malton citizens. One right he told me i had as organizer and unoffical leader of sorts, is that i could, if i sensed the current council didn't have the best of malton in there intentions, disolve that council and pick new people who showed they wanted good. i don't want glory, though leaving my mark on history and brining my name back fromk shame would be nice. and what do you mean by attack? that thing was, long, and thats why i got confused.--Darkmagic 18:17, 21 October 2007 (BST)

Revive Point Killing

Not sure if this is a member of yours or not, but Dr Havelock has been revive point killing. There was one earlier today too that I didn't catch. Actually, I was attacked at a known revive point by a level 10 who claims to be an Abandoned member. Not blaming you guys, because I'm not sure if he is in your fine group. Now, please, don't give me "He didn't know any better", he's been around for a while. All I ask for is that if he is in your group, that you just give ask him why. Looking for me?

A member of the Abandoned by the name of Paddy O'Brian seems to be looking for me. I don't believe I've ever attacked him or anybody who didn't attack me first. So is the Abandoned interested in me for some reason I wouldn't know about? It's especially interesting me since I nor my freinds have been on for quite some time. Pk'ed by Brumenor for false accusation

Hello, My character, Frank Howard, a former zombie who bought all the zombie skills and now focusing on survivor skills, was pked by Brumenor after he accused me of being a zombie spy because I am affiliated as Independent. I would like you to sort something out as this was really inconvinent. I don't have a record because iWitness doesn't work on my computer. I won't be so mad if I were randomly pked, however the accusations of being a zombie spy put me over the edge. Please set this right. --MikhailA 04:22, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

Good Morning Frank H. this is brumenor, it is true that I have killed you, but not pked. If you check the wikki of your page, there is an invitation for "Ferals" and other zed groups. I dont know if you knew that, but whoever created that wikki, made it very confusing. I am not sure if you are really afiliated with the group, but your profile has its name. Thus the reason I killed you, not Pke'd you. Yet, a kill is a kill, and I public want to apologize for this missunderstanding/incident from my part. I was never and will never be a pker, also, The Abandoned does and will never support any of his members being one. --Brumenor 10:44 AM, 31 December 2007 (EST)

Okay, thank you...I understand.--MikhailA 01:52, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

PK List

The Blue Aegis Group is a PMC-themed group, which has ties to the KoL MMO. We tend to lightly RP as Mercs/PMCs/etc. Lately we've been hired for a mission in the area of Yagoton and one of our squad leaders apparently went on a period of semi-religous fervor before he joined us and killed a few folks up there. We're wondering if you guys keep a list of pkers, and how we might get him removed or otherwise exempted if possible. --Captain Rickety 04:48, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

I need the name of the person involved. --Rohndogg1 15:08, 3 May 2009 (BST)

The Chocolate Thunder's response

Despite your vainly nonthreatening and overdramatized radio broadcast, The Chocolate Thunder will not have vacated Yagoton under your demands by the sundown of the seventh of July this year. We just thought you should know this now so you don't have to wait around another week and a half to find out if we're gone or not. --Alevins 18:03, 28 June 2009 (BST)

Well, you guys don't seem that smart but whatever, you can't even spell the name of one of your targets correctly. If you want to start something go ahead, just know that we've dealt with worse and we don't fear you. Btw, I hope you go for me first. --Rohndogg1 03:47, 29 June 2009 (BST)
Oh, we aren't starting anything. To the contrary, members of the Abandoned and the YRC are, for the time being, on our "nice" list. We here at the Chocolate Thunder think being confrontational is overrated. As you'll see, nobody on our target (excluding OMGitsChris) list is a designated member of either organization. And about that spelling nonsense, if we're planning to kill them, it really doesn't matter if we've spelled their name right or not? Does it, now. Oh, and FYI, The Abandoned may have fought of tougher stuff than us, but until you guys actually get organized, you're not a threat to anybody. Really, I've been around you guys for like three years and I've never seen an ounce of the 'protection' you guys claim to offer. Yagoton would be just as safe without you. On a lighter note, I'll see you around, and happy hunting! --Alevins 19:16, 1 July 2009 (BST)
I don't know what's more surprising. The fact that you found a simple radio broadcast to be serious business, or that you went as far as to create a politely written paragraph detailing your stance with us and Chris under the guise of being an intellectual, when in reality it's a shameless (and, dare I say, badly written) attempt at pulling an "internet tough guy" routine. This, from the same Alevins5 that created drama on the radio because he thought the YRC wasn't doing a fine enough job. This, from the same Alevins5 who was used as a tool by the Edge of Extinction when they (laughably) tried to defend themselves from accusations of zerging. And now, you bring to us your latest incarnation as a newborn, yet distinguished, player killer. Well played, sir. On a lighter note, we will see you around. Happy Hunting. --Private Mark 00:02, 9 July 2009 (BST)
I'm flattered that you seem to remember all of my antics so well, I truly am. Maybe I wasn't as much as a nobody in UD as I thought I was. And I really wasn't attempting an "internet tough guy" routine. I was simply doing my best to be sincere, as I as of now truthfully do wish to avoid conflict with the groups that for so long exemplified such hospitality and care for my well being. I personally still have a warm fuzzy spot somewhere deep down in the recesses of my heart for the YRC and The Abandoned, and you may know this: that for the time being, the Chocolate Thunder will never be the instigators of the loss of life, should that life belong to the YRC or the Abandoned. --Alevins 02:56, 9 July 2009 (BST)
What you seem to fail to understand is that it's not our lives we care about, it's the other people in our great suburb that we call home that we care about. Any hostility at all should be considered hostility toward us. You are right about one thing, there was a short time where we lost sight of our true goal, but that time is over and we won't stand for the loss of innocent life. Zombie hordes aren't our only enemy, self-righteous fools also need to watch for us, because when they try to bring their own brand of "justice" that is when innocent people begin getting hurt, and that is when we step in. If you truly wish to avoid conflict as you stated before, then I suggest you listen to what we said in the first place and get out of Yagoton, or figure out a way to live without killing anyone. --Rohndogg1 15:15, 9 July 2009 (BST)
That's sort of the response I was expecting, the whole "value others' lives before your own" thing. I can respect that. I just think it's funny how we're the self righteous fools who have somehow brought our own 'twisted' justice to Yagoton. To bring philosophy into it, by what basis do you make that claim? On what authority are you asserting that your justice more just than ours? Philosophically of course. Anywho, to prevent myself from reiterating everything I've already said, I'll just cut myself short. I wish you Happy Hunting!! Chocolate Thunder out!! --Alevins 01:43, 10 July 2009 (BST)
I'm not saying we're more just, however the people came to accept us as a protective force, much like a volunteer police department. When a new group comes into the area and begins causing trouble what do you expect. --Rohndogg1 03:14, 10 July 2009 (BST)

Curious..

I was killed my your dear member Floyd Pinkerton http://i1137.photobucket.com/albums/n517/Matt_Stadelman/ScreenShot2011-09-02at21455PM.png

Now.. I remember being told that the Knights and The Abandoned had some form of an agreement or mutual understanding that we didn't shoot each other. Hence why I've not killed a single member of your lot. My memory could be wrong or maybe your member Floyd' Pinkerton is as ignorant as his actions. Anyways, I would just like to get the terms of our relationship (or lack of one) defined so myself and other members can act accordingly.        17:29, 3 September 2011 (BST)

I remember reading on our forum not so long ago that your group actually started attacking us, thus the reason of the retaliation. I'll however refer this comment to one of our leaders so they can give you a more official (and probably more accurate) answer. -- •Eagle of Fire•

Greetings. I was the one who negotiated the original agreement between our groups, and the agreement was that ALL people of Yagoton were to be left alone. I know recently, one of our members witnessed you killing a citizen in Bale Mall. (Yes, I know that it's a den of stupidity, but we are working to correct that)Anyway, we had worked out that you would allow us to work toward education in our peaceful way, while you left the citizens of our suburb in safety, and in return, you would not be hunted in our suburb. This is an agreement that has in fact lasted for quite a while and I know we were content with it. If you are willing to continue to meet the conditions of the agreement, then we will be obliged to do the same. I hope that there will be continuing peace between our groups. --Rohndogg1 19:00, 3 September 2011 (BST)
I will post this on our forum and see what the higher up members want to do, whether it be a renegotiation of terms or just following it in the current state. The only exception to this would be the Knight Killers who reside in Yatogon would not be safe regardless( as they even aren't in CoLs). In the mean time I will find a new mall to hunt.       12:03, 4 September 2011 (BST)
Well, seeing as we follow a similar policy of retaliation that likely won't be a problem, but please state that you are killing them for that reason. Ideally, one of you could come over to our forum at abandoned.lucien.me.uk and we could set up an embassy for you. Then we can maintain a better line of communication. If one of you is interested, send an email to AbandonedApplication@hotmail.com and we'll get your account set up. Let me fill you in on a secret that's not really a secret. Do we look like people who care about things like Image? That's for the 'Axe Hacks' of the game. Soon we'll be on our way and you will no doubt tell tales about how you drove the bad guys out with their tails firmly tucked between their legs. The defensive titans within your ranks slaughtered the FOD "wholesale"! The streets of Yagoton ran red with their blood. Their stomachs roasted in hell. Pfffft. Good riddance to bad rubbish. --Hibernaculum 22:09, 16 November 2011 (UTC)
Sorry missed the part about you killing over 200 Pker's per year. On behalf of the FOD - our response - WAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHHAAH. What a load of BS. I'm outta here. It stinks. --Hibernaculum 22:11, 16 November 2011 (UTC)
Watch out for Eagle of Fire Hib! I saw he took down that dangerous PKer SaiIor Moon a few days ago. This guy knows his stuff! Justice is served!User:RobOppenheimerUser_talk:RobOppenheimer 00:13, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
Honestly, I thought you lot would prefer that the public think most of your deaths were by the combined force of all of our members, instead of by only two of them. Better of the two evils, and all that. You should also ask hibernaculum to lay off the burritos, it's rather stinky enough around here with all of our gennies, as Ms. To Talk can attest to. --Private Mark 20:04, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
Typical response of someone who don't know better. I don't really mind, I keep killing PKers all the same. The simple fact that you waste your time replying to a pointless thread like this prove to me you don't actually have something better to do. I suggest you return to searching for pointless Youtube links... -- •Eagle of Fire•

I would feel sorrowful if anyone would believe the lies posted on your front page. I think you are confused as this is going the other way, wheelbarrow after wheelbarrow of Abandoned bodies are being used as compost for my rose garden. We have the screenshots to back up our claims do you? Of course you do not. Not only do you dishonor your group with false claims and delusions of grandeur, but you give proof to the flotsam you are accused of. The truth shall set you free, and I would hope any allies of yours would look closely at continuing to be allies to liars. There is more honor and pride to manning up and admitting to being bested. I would also hope your other members would have honor and look to what their supposed leader is doing disgracing their name. Translation for the immense amount of failure and text wall above: "I am a butthurt pker who can dish out enormous amounts of trenchy insults and threats, but can't take a joke directed at myself and my entire group. QED, I trench, therefore, I am." With love, --Private Mark 21:40, 17 November 2011 (UTC)

I find the fact that your people keep hitting me (Yes, I keep sleeping in the same place, I don't care) when I've been dealing with other concerns in the suburb other than PKers. I've never been much for hunting, usually it's not worth the effort. But besides that, I've been busy playing Skyrim. So thanks for wasting the ammo and AP on me, you're only hurting yourselves. :P Have fun, I have some dragons to go kill. XD --Rohndogg1 21:42, 17 November 2011 (UTC)

I guess I'll respond to this one instead of Baghdad's comments up there. He knows he's shoveling it now. Pathetic. I wish to talk about your other concerns. There are none. The suburb is green. There is no big zed horde here. There is no other real organized pker threat here, Just us. As you well know. Now why don't you muzzle bob up there before he makes you guys more of a laughing stock then you already are? K? Thanks. --Hibernaculum 03:00, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
Judging by the number of lines you and your cronies have devoted to this talk page in comparison to us, I'd say that your attempts to pass me off as "Baghdad Bob" (lol wut?) along with an insistence that I'm "shoveling it" only proves that the ones who are actually annoyed in this conflict are you and your group. I'd also argue that this series of flaming and trollbait, which is surprisingly recent as it was earlier only relegated to in-game chat, shows that your group, or more likely, yourself, are in desperate need of attention. I also note that on the last major group you hunted's discussion page, there is sparse commentary from either you, or their members; is it possible that you grew bored with the lack of attention from them, and as such went on the hunt for a different group to troll? In fact, is this true of just about every other group you went after because, after the destruction of your previous organization, "Flowers of Disease," you were cast down to the level of "nuisance"?
But I digress; What struck me throughout this entire discussion as the most odd is the reaction of your flammable friend up there to our latest news report. He "shovels" quite a lot of crap up there about "dishonor" and "delusions of grandeur". Dishonor? Delusions of Grandeur? in MY VIDEO GAME? Oh, oh, but get this, he even keeps screenshots of every time he kills Jenko or Swoop, the two of whom seem to be a regular dick stuck a certain someone's ass. Well son, I'm proud of you; perhaps you'll print those out and store them in a photo album labeled, "My Double Date with Destiny: Swoop and Jenko". Or you'll brag about how many inches your e-peen grew in the past month from hunting virtual humans, killing them with text based slugs of death.
I suppose what I'm trying to say here, for those of you in your group with severe ADHD; and I'll even say it in Mr. Scarecrow's slightly modified verbage, just so you can understand it; "There is more [FUN] and [ENJOYMENT] to [ALWAYS REMEMBERING THAT A VIDEO GAME IS A VIDEO GAME] and [NOT BEING BUTTHURT]."
That said, I also feel that much of the reaction by you and your members to our group is possibly due to being new to the game. While I believe our Sysops do a most excellent job of welcoming new members to the community, as well as educating them on the intricacies of the game, there is one, incredibly important detail that I feel all new players must learn, to avoid in-game and meta-game embarrassment: [1]

You're right in one regard, there are currently no major threats in Yagoton, but I'm not referring to zombies and things of that nature, I'm referring to things like replacing destroyed generators, correcting the barricade levels of over barricaded buildings, healing injured survivors, reviving dead players, the list goes on, but I will not. To summarize, there is more to do than killing, not everyone has a trenchcoat filled with shotguns to go hunting with. My inventory consists of mostly First-Aid Kits, spray cans, syringes and the like. Thank you though, for your oh so astute observations on the status of our suburb, they are very much appreciated.
Btw, I'm standing up now, I'll be in Thresh Grove School. I do hope you'll come join me. :) --Rohndogg1 06:03, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
Now that the two of you are done lecturing us on the right way to play a game I do believe we'll allow our kill page to do the talking for us from this point out. --User:RobOppenheimerUser_talk:RobOppenheimer 16:41, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
*Snikers* Your group kill page? You have a whole organization, of whom I personally listed about 5 or 6 (you ought to have more, and you just gived direct proof earlier on this page you communicate with other pker groups in this suburb to coordinate with them)... And that's all what you have to list? My own personal list of PKers I killed this year alone is 3 to 4 times as big (and I'll leave it as that because if I tell you the truth about numbers again you simply won't believe me)... And I'm not even a PKer hunter in The Abandoned. And, add to that you are hiding outside of the suburb and I'm only hitting on your members when I stumble on them while you purposely enter our suburb only to target out members... And you almost always kill the same two of us.
Hahaha... Please, stop making me laugh. I might hurt my ribs from the strain! -- •Eagle of Fire•
