Club Vagg vip status

The Imagine organization has taken up the management of Malton's premier lesbian nightclub, Club Vagg. This club has a history of putting counter-culture groups on its VIP list (regardless of gender) and the Imagine organization (always a supporter of the counter-culture) is happy to say we have extended VIP status at "The Vagg" to your group.

goth undead. excited to find such a group forming, huh. so where are you operating? --Duke Garland 11:54, 28 March 2007 (BST)

a note about "staying alive"

While its good to be able to stay alive when needed, yhere are actually some pretty decent reasons to spend a short while dead. Fearing death is rather a bit silly, no? Its a demonstrated fact that we are immortal. I've been meaning to write an essay on survivor oriented "trans-mortal tactics", and I think goths would be one group that should have the open mind to look beyond the fear of death and see its potential benefits. I find it sad that the only group that currently takes advantage of a true fearlessness of death are the many psycotic murderers in this city... --NTLA1ctdpImagine 13:00, 26 April 2007 (BST)

Greetings!

I'm Caleb Usher from over in Dulston and I couldn't help but notice your interest in Club Mold (of which I created the current location wikipage). I do try to vary all the club descriptions so there's a little of something for everyone. To the best of my knowledge no one has claimed ownership of Club Mold, albeit Sex Possy, a local survivor "DJ group", does help maintain the suburb's clubs. If you are interested in claiming this club for your group just let me know. All I would ask in return is that at least one member of your group be present at the club, which I can understand may be the only hard part depending on how your group wants to handle this. Anyway, let me know if you need anything and I will see what I can do. --Mobius187 May 25 2007, 12:42 PM (EST)

Just to touch base, as noted in your reply feel free to drop by Club Mold when you have the time. No rush. Just be sure to bring along some decorations if you do drop by so the club can be more appropriately "detailed". --Mobius187 May 29 2007, 10:39 AM (EST)

Publicized ceasefire for the June 1st event?

I have an alt in Danversbank who would love to attend the Vampire movie at the Killingback Cinema on June 1st. Unfortunately, this alt, Zombuddha is a member of Extinction and an actively hunted GK'er in Danversbank. Of course Zombuddha would observe a truce for the movie and would harm neither human nor generator during the event (and for that matter, promises to never hurt anyone or anything in or near the cinema at any time). But if my alt attends the show, it's likely that the DRRP will recognize and assassinate him. Can arrangements be made for truce/ safe passage for all for the duration of the cultural event? Club Barling April 30 Grand Opening

I'm there already. Maybe not so Goth, should make a fashionably late grand entry, but screw it. Set up a monkey skeleton, a few skulls, re-tagged the wall, took the 'cades up to vsb+2. Somebody has to pull this shit together, no? --NTLA1 Skull n syringes.gif VeM 03:28, 30 April 2007 (BST)

Music

How about we have group members submit "mix tapes" if they are interested in DJing at Club Barling? While an actual podcast or some such would be cool (especially on the day of the club opening), I think a text list of songs (maybe with links to I-tunes or some other legal download / streaming source) would be great for now. I've been working on mine in my head, but its still a bit short for a mix tape, let alone a full set. (BTW, a typical DJ mix tape was both sides of a 45 minute tape. That may have changed in this age of MP3's.) --NTLA1ctdpNTmapx:oo 00:03, 19 April 2007 (BST)

OK, can be buggered with an actual playlist- I'm no DJ. Call the following my requests to the DJ, in no particular order.

-Above list by --NTLA1ctdpImagine 18:07, 28 April 2007 (BST)

  • Die Krupps - To The Hilt (Industrial classic)
Nicely dance-able rivet-head friendly selection, but I'd argue against a song less than 15 years old being called a "classic". Then again, I'm older than dirt in terms of IndustrialNewBeatTechnoGoth music; I have body piercings older than many of today's well known bands. --NTLA1 Skull n syringes.gif VeM 16:56, 29 April 2007 (BST)

Club Barling Decorations?

If the big Batwing Brigade Ball is going to be on April 30th at Club Barling, we should make sure the place is properly decorated.

I suggest the following items- and no others- be allowed. It would ideally be nice to have one instance of each, maybe with doubles of the mirror, statue, or skulls.

  • Mouldering tapestry
  • Medieval tapestry
  • Dark tapestry
  • Headless statue sculpture
  • Skull (arguably redundant in Malton, hence the non-inclusion of the full human skeleton)
  • Monkey skeleton (Cool, a monkey skeleton! And look at its fangs, like a little vampire!)
  • Bird skeleton ("Quothe the Raven...")
  • Lizard skeleton (reptiles are inately goth)
  • Antique mirror (goths and mirrors, need I say more?)
  • Grecian Urn (as in "Ode to a ...")

If need be, we can bring in zombies to smash all the ugly non-goth crap before re-decorating! I know a few who could be trusted not to come back the night of the party, I think...

I'd also suggest NOT setting up a generator. The description of the un-powered club is much more goth friendly than the "colored spotlights and distorted music" of the powered version.

If you know of a museum where these items can be located, post a reply here!

NTLA1ctdpNTmapx:oo 00:50, 12 April 2007 (BST)

Here's the closest museums to Club Barling I've found with decent goth stuff in them:

  • The Dury Museum in East Grayside (69,87) has an exhibition of tapestries, though there is no easy way to pick the gothy goodness from the tacky old French and Greek ones.
  • The Saffyn Museum in Wyke Hills (59,90) has exhibition of scientific history that should yield skeletons of various sorts if you search long enough.
  • The Sonven Museum in Wray Heights [60,79] also has science exhibits. So far, neither has turned up ANYTHING, and I'm wondering if this is a bug. (Apparently its no so much a bug as you just can't find anything worth looting in science museums- I was thinking they had skeletons!)
  • The Carslake Museum in Roywood (5,18) has an extensive collection of skeletons (PAYDIRT). To bad its nowhere NEAR club Barling. Haven't visited the place myself; I was got this off the net.
  • The Meade Museum in Crowbank(79, 66) has an exhibition of Pottery. I nabbed a nice Grecian Urn. Its got some wierd bat-monster on it. How very classical.
  • The Daniels Museum in Vinetown [85,62] has an extensive collection of skeletons. So, get yor coffin-shaped backpacks on, and go load up! (Skulls seem very easy to find- maybe we should set up DOZENS of them?) --02:52, 23 April 2007 (BST)

Joining

Post here if you would like to join (although this page would get you better results right now).

NTLA1

Well, I finally decided to get off my ass and join. ntla1 is a goth techno-geek, with a taste for victorian style doctors clothing and equipment, body piercings, and really bitching computers. I'm heading towards the club, and will be picking up free-running soon, and then looking for decorative items, revive needles, and FAKs (drugs!) And yes, if it looks like palns for the club event are going well, I WILL promote it on VampireFreaks.com !

Alliances

Post here if your group would like to coordiate efforts with the Batwing Brigade!

We here at E.N.D. are a nomadic survivor group that would like to help Malton by traveling threw every town taking out any threat to returning our beloved city to its old glory. If we are in need, call upon us and will give our lives if we must, heal the sick, and return your loved ones to there living bodies. E.N.D. ask for a alliance with every survivor group. If all survivors can work in harmony, Together, our children will grow up to think zeds are only a ghost story.

We are seeking a alliance with every pro survivor group, that has a no PK, or the like policy. If you are interested please drop a line. [1] or visit our forum: http://z11.invisionfree.com/END_Forums/index.php?act=idx Thank you for your time.

Ms. Black,
Regarding your message to the Night Ravers:
Yes, I believe this would be an excellent idea! We are currently in the process of moving to a new locale, however when we come to a stop, I shall let you know where we have landed.
From there we can not only get to know one another, but we can coordinate some sort of creative project with our groups I have no doubt.
As I see you will be in the area of Vinetown, do give our regards to the MDK!

Excellent, glad to see Penny got in touch with you guys. I know you by reputation, Bette. . . . swiers 00:31, 30 June 2007 (BST)
Hopefully that reputation is one I deserve, Mr. Swiers.
Where is the Batwing Brigade at this time? The Night Ravers have at long last landed at Club Meatyard in Rhodenbank. We are visiting the Brain Musesum and the local puppet museum. Would you like to meet us there?

I can't speak for the group, but as an individual, sure. I haven;t been as active with my BWB alt as I'd like, but that could be changing. . . . swiers BigEYEwitnessLOGO.png 06:56, 17 July 2007 (BST)

The Great Suburb Group Massacre

Stop hand.png Group Active? Request.
In order to maintain the wiki as an up to date source of information groups are occasionally removed from the Suburb pages when they are no longer active. Is this group still active? If so simply confirm here by writing something below. If not it will be removed from suburb pages in 14 days.

Currently the suburb in question is Pennville but one response to this query will be all that is needed to protect your group link on all suburb pages. I know this is a may seem a stupid request but its for all groups regardless of size. Thank you. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 11:42, 13 July 2008 (BST)

Stop hand.png Group Inactive?

The following page(s) were orphaned, meaning they weren't linked from any other page on UDWiki. For house-keeping's sake, we are adding the link onto the relevant talk page. If you don't want the pages anymore just post them on the Deletions Page. You aren't required to do anything, but we'd appreciate if it you kept the link on any one of your pages.

Please note that the link provided below will not remove the page from Orphaned Pages, so you'll still need to manually make a link for us. Thank you.
