Older News

Apologies to anyone at Tickle waiting for a revive. The proliferation of zombies in Miltown means that we are having to look further afield for needles. Normal service will hopefully resume soon. - Bisfan 09:49, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

New Rotter Revive Clinic at Fliney NT

Guys, what's with the new designation of Fliney as a rotter revive clinic? Do we really need a rotter revive clinic in Miltown? To be honest I don't really like the idea of rotters walking amongst the living, seems like by acquiring brain rot there's an embracing of the zombie cause. I'm just not comfortable with the idea of those who support the zeds being able to freerun into my safehouse and sleep next to me. I know you guys usually take care of Fliney, so for now I'll advise the DEM personnel in the area to keep the cades down, but I'd like to at least open up a discussion as to if this really should be a part of the Miltown community. --Dr Philip 19:02, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

Dr Philip, the Know Nothings currently have three Rotters in their ranks! Until recently, to revive them we had been going through the rigmarole of taking down cades at a Necrotech Building, reviving our fallen comrades, then recading. However, with Fliney so frequently occupied by zombies recently, it has been impossible to cade there, so we experimented with dropping a generator in there to get our rotted comrades when they fell. When that generator remained unmolested for several days, we had the idea of the Rot Revive Clinic. Now, I'm all with you that I'm not comfortable reviving a rotted zombie who's just going to freerun around the place, looking for a place to trash, and if anyone finds a rotter doing that we'd love to know, so we don't revive them twice. Some folks only get rot for the sake of completeness, to say "look, I'm level 42!" Others get it for roleplay purposes, like those members of the Church of the New Eden we've seen in Miltown; they'll fight us tooth and claw while zombies, but have also shown that while revived as survivors, they will do their darndest to help fight off zombies and protect places. All the Know Nothings who saw you moving around Miltown during the recent bad times have an enormous amount of respect for the work you've done. And we're not asking any other group to use their resources to operate this clinic (although we'd appreciate any support we can get.) It is enough for us that you've asked local DEM personnel not to put cades up. On a more tactical level, while I don't expect it to, I hope that designating Fliney a Rot Revive Clinic will have the side effect of encouraging rotters who don't want to risk the chance of a revive not to camp inside the building. Hopefully that assuages your concerns. -- Bisfan 20:03, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
Furthermore, you can be assured we won't be reviving every zombie who comes into Fliney. While those who do are sleeping there at their own risk, we do understand the negative consequences of reviving a zombie with a profile like Jobon's which says, "Special attention to Know Nothing members. Kill them first!" While we have nothing but respect for him as a player, he'd have to come to the talk page and request a revive before we'd even consider the matter. -- Rutherford 20:25, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the quick response guys. Fliney seems to be yours to maintain. Its good to know there's another group active in Miltown. With the recent stability in the suburb I think so of my guys are gonna be moving around to other suburbs in our district. Miltown is my home though so you'll likely see a lot more of me around. --Dr Philip 02:05, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
Always a pleasure Dr Philip, we'd love to see more of you. -- Bisfan 02:50, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Are you guys still doing rot revives at the Fliney NT building? I'm from rotter's relief and we're currently not doing revives for the moment and wanted to know if we could send over some of our patients. Thanks for the help--BrainsTasty 12:27, 3 April 2008 (BST).

I'm happy to see the KN's return to doing Rot Revives, but it should be understood that Fliney may be caded, and ideally the revives should be handled live if at all possible. You know our IRC details, feel free to pass them on. - Bisfan 00:20, 4 April 2008 (BST)

This frequency was confirmed active. Thank you for your reply.

Hi there, folks. I know this may seem a rather strange request, but it's for all groups, regardless of size, to help keep the wiki up to date. Are you all still active and using the frequency? --Jen 01:00, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

The group is active, don't know about the frequency...
(20:04:40) Revenant: Hey, can anyone remember us actually using our radio freq?
