Am I maybe making it up to "code thief" now?

  • I stole the damn help template!
  • I have a ninja hiding on my page; you can see him the TOC, but when you go looking, he's not there! He's not just concealed, he's invisible!
  • I stole your whole damn group page and squished in down under a level 2 heading on my page, without breaking my TOC.

SO

Can I maybe get a promotion. I updated my user page with some code from Style Up! (thanks Goebi), and added a Navigation bar from somewhere. Also I made The Rambling Drunks group page a while ago, using code from various other group pages. --Barroom Hero 23:43, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

Welcome, how can I help you?

Argh!

I have mostly no idea what I'm doing so am definitely pirating code. I'll admit it. lol --Pxfbird 10:38, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

I steal stuff!

I admit to stealing code, not gonna lie, but as a result I've started to learn exactly how code works, so there is a plus there!--Jachel|T 17:02, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

I freely admit to stealing code. More than once. But my userpage is starting to look good as a result. ~ extropymine Talk | NW | 4Corners 02:18, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

May I join?

I stole some Code once...

Can I Join?

I stole the code from the infamous PKer group, Red Rum, and am in the process of stealing the code from another person's navbar(but with different colors and links of course). Mankar Camoran 02:49, 13 May 2008 (BST)

Could I consider myself one of you?

I stole the code for the navbar on my page (but changed the links to my pages, of course! and the colors), and have several half-finished stolen sigs waiting to be complete--CorndogheroT-S-Z 00:08, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Well, considering the Cap and Che haven't been to active as of late (Che went inert way last year. Cap showed up for a little while, the idea of Ghetto Cow coming back for a spell got his attention), you can't really expect an answer. But, as I'm sure it's what they'd want, sure, you can be one of them. Go ahead and edit yourself into the main page.-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 00:19, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Underline and Non-Breaking Space

Just so you know, I added these entries on your "Easy to get" code section. I'm no wiki guru, but I find these useful, so I hope you don't mind me sharing. --Richardhg 05:10, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

I wanna be in your club, guys!

I just put together my user page, and basically stole everything on it. So... is there, like, a secret handshake or something?--Father Thompson 05:24, 19 September 2007 (BST)

I even stole a new sig.--FT MCDU: Black Knights 21:11, 20 September 2007 (BST)

me too i have been stealing code when this group was just a sparkle in cap'ns eye. ZinkerT!Z!A!R! F ! The zsg,defending Malton since 2007.zinker M! SwitzerC.gif Brainzz--zink 20:45, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

...You didn't even come here until after the group was made.-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 20:47, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
And how could they come here before the group was made? --Richardhg 00:01, 06 December 6000 BC (UTC)
Ummm, registering on the wiki before the Cap made the group, perhaps? This was just another case of Zink trying to make himself look better, and failing. Again.-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 15:56, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

Here! Here! I would like to join you group :)--Forgotten86 MCDU:The Shadowmen:Columbine Kids:Axes High 12:24, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

I have concern

With the color templates. They add too many template calls to a page. Replace them with html tags, or I will myself soon. --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 13:22, 15 July 2007 (BST)

How can you...? Gimme back my stuff!!

OMG, this page is sick, and yet so cool. I didn't know about you guys, and I must tell you that my first complex page design was "based on" (stolen) from Mia Kristos, BobHammero, Cyberbob240 and Xoid. The current one was based on my previous one plus Wikipedia's tutorial. Beat that suckers! --Matthew Fahrenheit YRCT+1 04:31, 10 June 2007 (BST)

Ah Heck...

Sign me up ;) --Specialist290 07:11, 14 June 2007 (BST)

Sweet

Thanks for adding me. I'm one of the more unabashed code thieves out there. Also, you don't have a guide on how to do strike thru text. I'm waiting to see it... -- Murray Jay Suskind 00:09, 20 June 2007 (BST)

Hello

I'd like to join your ranks! --Mayor FittingTalk RR 00:33, 5 July 2007 (BST)

HI

I've been using this page for a while now to help me "Edit"... so I figured I should show my support by joining up. You can contact me here or on my talk page. -Barroom Hero 17:43, 18 July 2007 (BST)

Wikipedia Raiding

I stole this and thought of you.

But not in a gay way.

I don't think it's actually useful for anything, but it's cool to mess around with. --  T   18:40, 25 July 2007 (BST)

Might be useful for quotes and such cause the default quote thing here kinda sucks a lot.--Karekmaps?! 22:53, 25 July 2007 (BST)
It's nice, I will add it right away. Thanks-- Che -T GC X 23:36, 25 July 2007 (BST)
I stole that and put it somewhere. -- Atticus Rex mfu pif Δ 03:58, 11 August 2007 (BST)
Couldn't one use it to show off giant pics too?--Lachryma 04:19, 11 August 2007 (BST)
Actually, it can. I just tried it in mah sandybox, and it works.-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 04:22, 11 August 2007 (BST)

Hey

I want to be in this code stealer group. Here's some stuff I stole:

  • I copied and pasted BobHammero's entire page in full.
  • I stole Matthew farenheit's navigation thing and slapped it onto my page.
  • I stole Vista's signature.

If that's not qualifying, I don't know what is. --kosaku t wcs 22:22, 20 August 2007 (BST)

Maybe you can get past this...

So, you know the "overflow" property, that gives you a cool box with scroll-bars, well, it would be even COOLER if we could set it to the "auto" value, which get's rid of the horizontal bar in most cases, and even let's you eliminate the vertical bar, when it's not actually needed (say, for example, you had the vertical height set to a percentage of the page, and on some people's screens, scroll-bars wouldn't be needed, they wouldn't show up, but if the viewer had a smaller screen, they would). Also, if you want to use it to put extra information in a table's cell without distorting the spacing, getting rid of the horizontal bar frees up limited space. HOWEVER, spammers use the "auto" value to add spam to pages without making it visible to the viewer by creating a "div" with a "height" of "1px", and the "overflow" set to "auto", so that it's essentially invisible, no matter how much spam they put in there, and so a lot of wikis just block the "auto" value outright. Is there any way to bypass this? Could we all go petition Kevin to remove the restriction? is the wiki really under that much attack from spammers anyway? --Morgan Blair 17:04, 12 September 2007 (BST)

Am I the right material?

I don't know If I fit in, but I stole Revenant's signature first. But then got carried away and pimped my whole userpage with it... I probably stole some other code while doing that. You see, I'm so moraly devoid that I don't even remember who I stole from. (Though Karek is probably one of whom I've stolen from.) -- Karth  FoD 15:44, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

BTW, I recently stole this nice piece of code:
<div class="firstHeading" style="font-size: 188%; padding-top: 0.5em; padding-bottom: 0.17em; text-align: center; float: left; position: absolute; left: 0.5em; top: 0%; width: 98%; background-color: #FFFFFF">ENTER PAGENAME HERE</div>
<div style="position:relative; width: 100%; background-color: #1a291a">

It changes the page heading from, for instance, "Talk:The Wiki Code Stealers" to anything you'd like it to be. --  Karth  FoD 20:19, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Funny

Can I join? A lot of the content in my page was stolen! --Obi + Talk!|TZH|MDK 23:07, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, me too... I stole one of those Urban dead interface thingies... My templates... hell, the only things on my page not stolen are my Bios! Sorry for the crappy Signature, I'm hoping to steal a better one soon! -- Nitro378 17:22, 1 April 2008 (BST)

I was in the middle of looking for code to steal...and ran into you guys! Oh yeah, sign me up--Dr Mycroft Chris 08:34, 6 May 2008 (BST)

Great Page

I can see myself using this in the near future. Blinking text?!? Haha... what will they think of next...--Nallan (Talk) 11:13, 3 April 2008 (BST)

Can i join?

im not really good at coding anything fanciful on the wiki (just the basics like colors and such) and started out with a really plain User Page. Since i have joined, i have stolen my way through decorating. I stole my Nav bar from Axe Hack, stole and modified my "You have messages" bar from him also. I also stole my colorful backgrounds for each of my characters from another person (though i cant remember who lol). I also stole my character templates from Anti_gorefest5. Heck the only thing i havent stolen is my sig. . .--ȠәȻᴙʘɱΔȵƆεʁ 06:26, 8 April 2008 (BST)

Interested In Joining

Hello, I would like to join your group. Contact me on my talk page.

Seriously though, my entire user page is "borrowed" from Karth Salvage and my remaining pages are tweaked code from Kalenium's Talk Page. Looking forward to hearing from you. -- Denver  5MoC 08:07, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

Complaints

I am extremely chagrined to discover that while my wiki page has been the victim of numerous counts of larceny it has yet to be noticed by your esteemed organization and placed upon your list. If this horrible slight is not swiftly remedied I may be forced to do something drastic and quite possibly illegal. Good day to you! -- CITIZEN VI 03:49, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

This is a obviously a very non-conformist group, I hope you don't mean something so drastic as deletion?--Dr Mycroft Chris 06:22, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
