::Yes, Misanthropy, it makes sense that this template didn't exist until now. The vast majority of the articles here are a creation of fantasy by users: an article about Caiger Mall doesn't need to be backed up by books or [http://urbandead.com/news.html news articles]. However, there are articles about how the game works. I created the template because of a statement made on [[RNG]]. The article reads: "It uses the php srand() function". This is an assumption presented as a fact and when other users would want to do some more research on this matter, they start on the wrong foot. Yes, Misanthropy, it makes sense that this template didn't exist until now. The vast majority of the articles here are a creation of fantasy by users: an article about Caiger Mall doesn't need to be backed up by books or news articles. However, there are articles about how the game works. I created the template because of a statement made on RNG. The article reads: "It uses the php srand() function". This is an assumption presented as a fact and when other users would want to do some more research on this matter, they start on the wrong foot. The game isn't coded in PHP, that's why I marked this sentence. The page about the RNG got about 8000 views, but it might as well happen to a more popular page with almost 80,000 views: what if someone would add to Search odds that as of June 2011 the normal search success rate increased from 20% to 30%. It might be true, you can't just undo the changes, yet you don't know for sure either and by inserting this template you let others know that you think this information might not be accurate. Someone has got to prove the given information is correct or it might as well be removed after some time. Bean 10:06, 30 May 2011 (BST)
