Hello people, I love this feature. One minor thing is that you could have created a 'Search Odds' namespace, which would integrate a bit better with the way wiki works. You would have pages called 'Search_Odds:Mall' and 'Search_Odds:Outside' (instead of 'Search_Odds/Mall' and 'Search_Odds/Outside'). Not sure if this makes much difference, but like I said, it is a bit more consistent with 'propper wiki'. Should be a trivial job to move all the pages, but a bit tedious. Also I didn't want to barge in and start moving pages without discussing it! Altogether though this is great work! - I think the main reason we went with subpages here is that there's a very limited number of these pages, and they're all directly related to the main Search Odds page. Also, I've seen subpages used on wikipedia before for similiar applications, seems to me that this is equally proper wiki. --Raelin 09:21, 19 Oct 2005 (BST)
- Raelin would be on the money - Doing it this way works to the subpage system that's already set up in the Wiki (and these sorts of things do exist on other wikis, especially MediaWiki wikis). Also, just adding the colon doesn't automatically add a new namespace, it just makes a page with a colon in it's name. In order to make it an actual namespace, we'd have to actually ask Kevan to build a new one, and frankly it's really not worth it - the current system seems to work OK. -- Odd Starter 06:08, 20 Oct 2005 (BST)
Auto cat?
One other thing, a Category:Search_Odds would not go a miss... The template here could automatically categorize each page that it is in with that category :) --Faceface 08:10, 19 Oct 2005 (BST)
- I'm not entirely sure that there's a need for a category. The nav template is currently on every page. It seems to me, that a category would only serve to be a redundant listing. --Raelin 09:21, 19 Oct 2005 (BST)

Order
This is purely a minor point, but perhaps it would be better to order the links by importance of buildings, or perhaps number of searches, rather than alphabetically. For example, Police Departments are far more important than Clubs (which are so minor, they might not even deserve an individual page). --LouisB3 21:51, 20 Oct 2005 (BST)
- They'll all (hopefully) become major some day, but I think out of all the possible orderings, this is probably the most intuitive to all viewers - even if you know nothing about importances, you'll at least know their alphabetical ordering.
- Besides, the Mall Stores screw up any importance ordering, since you got locations both important and rather useless there. -- Odd Starter 23:39, 20 Oct 2005 (BST)

Separate Fort Section
The link "Fort Armory" leads to the "Fort Data" page instead, even though it IS only about the Armory (and also hasn't had any new data in a while). This omits all other Fort building types, so I will be making the following changes to the template (and adding/changing the required pages): Creating a new subsection of the Template for Fort Buildings (like the Mall subsection), with a link for every Fort building type. The information from the Fort Data will be moved to the appropriate page, and the page itself will be used to contain direct to the appropriate links, until there is enough data to create some tables. --Morgan Blair 14:00, 18 August 2007 (BST)
