The Alner Family, known for the once extravagant Alner Mansion, raised five successful sons and one unsuccessful one. Today their family is gone and their mansion is dilapidated like the rest of Roachtown.

Frederick Alner

Frederick Alner was a simple man from Roachtown. At the age of 19 he was drafted into WWII and fought in Europe. After the war he bought a small store in Roachtown and turned it into a big business. He soon invested money in the local clubs and hotels, eventually buying them. By the time he was 30 he had six sons and millions of dollars. Frederick Alner turned Roachtown into one of Malton's top economic suburbs.

On his 59th birthday he was murdered in front of St Paul's Church. He left all his money and posessions to his son Damien.

The Six Sons

Allen Alner

Allen Alner, born in 1946, the oldest of the six sons, enlisted in the military and retired as a Major-General in the Royal Marines.

James Alner

James Alner, born in 1947, is a twin and second oldest of the six, became a Priest at St Dionysius's Church but after his father's death he moved to St Paul's.

Peter Alner

Peter Alner, born in 1947, is James' twin and second oldest of the six, became an author. He wrote several Best Seller Books including "The Eagle and the Snake", which was a fictional story of several eagles and snakes based off of both World Wars.

Stephen Alner

Stephen Alner, born in 1948, the third oldest of the six sons, became an artist. He painted several famous paintings including the "Coup de la société".

Stuart Alner

Stuart Alner, born in 1949, the second youngest of six sons, became an architect. He designed and created many Towers in Malton and even worked on his most infamous project, Nichols Mall.

Damien Alner

Damien Alner, born in 1950, the youngest of the six sons, was always a sick boy. Small and weak, he never accomplished much. But for some reason Frederick Alner always loved Damien the most, this made the other brothers jealous. People who knew Damien were always afraid of him because they sensed something evil.

The Fall of the Family

When Frederick died in 1979 he left everything to Damien. This made the other brothers hate him even more. With Damien in charge of all Alner buildings in Roachtown the shareholders pulled out their support. The keep their fortune the five brothers planned to murder Damien. While Damien was sleeping the brother snuck into his house and stabbed him ten times.

After Damien's murder, which was never solved, the brothers took control of the family's businesses. Soon each brother began to go through one problem after the other. Allen was disohnorably discharged from the Royal Marines, James was accused of stealing from the Church, Peter was sued for plagirism, Stephen's latest painting was laughed at by the art community thus shunning him for good, and Stuart was blamed for the Nichols Mall incident. Then the family business went bankrupt and all buildings and shares were sold to Yuppie Gary Holmes.

Shortly after the family's fall the Alner's moved, abandoning their Mansion.
