The Bottlecaps are a new survivor group intent on restoring Old Arkham. They are helping build up the suburb from ghost town status as part of the Old Arkham Reclamation Effort.

Our goal is to form a coordinated but casual survivor group that plays fair and has fun. We do not allow zerging, spying, or other skullduggery.

Rumors that The Bottlecaps are actually a cult that worships antediluvian texts, esoteric symbols, or occult artefacts are exaggerated.

We are actively recruiting and looking for new members who want to stick around the suburb.

History

Origin

The Bottlecaps were founded by members MrFizz, fizzy dog and David Boomer, a group of friends who got bored after not being able to play 7 Days to Die together anymore due to MrFizz's computer being bad. After somehow convincing his friends to play this 15-year old browser game, MrFizz decided restoring a ghost town suburb would be an interesting goal. They chose Old Arkham because they are fans of the Arkham Horror living card game.

When MrFizz announced this goal on the UD Wiki Discord, some people laughed. But after attracting the attention and support of well-known survivor groups like the Soldiers of Crossman, it became clear that fixing up Old Arkham was something they might actually be able to pull off.
