Description

The Chard Building, also known as Charred! is a small family run diner located in the Southwest Suburb of Hollomstown.

History

Before the Malton Incedent The Chard Building used to serve homecooked meals to the inhabitants of Hollomstown and eventually the neighbouring suburbs Danversbank, Wyke Hills, East Grayside. At Charred! everyone left full, and some claimed they had the best burger in Malton - unless you ask a zombie, they still prefer the McZeds harmbargar. Even in the border of Malton the best burger would still pull people in with it's fresh ingredients and very fresh meat!

The Building was originally built as a butcher shop which was left intact by the previous owner when the first generation bought the shop. The plan was to carry on tradition and keep the butchery running, but while providing locals with meat they would also be able to buy food on the go like sandwiches, meatballs - even beverages was sold. As the shop grew and the next generator would take over, new ideas would be implemented leading to slowly moving away from producing meat, and mainly producing food which in the early 1980's became what is now know as Charred!.

The diner was born although much of the inventory stayed - not only to provide a theme to the diner, but also to provide the chefs with fresh produce everytime - with all this, and alot of charcoal Charred! became the first place in Malton history to serve a burger where every ingredient (except seasoning) was within a mile.

After the outbreak the staff and family cleared the diner of inventory and fled in the belief that it would be possible to set up shop somewhere else. While making their escape along Spalding Place the group was overrun and chased into an alley to meet their fate.

Barricade Policy

According to the Hollomstown Barricade Plan the diner should be kept at EHB at all times.

Current Status

Latest reports indicates that the diner is safe for survivors, but it might have changed -- ∀UDIO∀TTACK (talk) 16:08, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
