The Chudley Cannons are a group of Harry Potter fans (specifically, Quidditch hooligans) who have taken it upon themselves to set up operations in Chudleyton and rid the suburb of Inferi (zombies).
Structure/Goals
The group's structure is informal, and most decisions are reached through voting. The nominal leader is Gryffindor Quidditch captain Oliver Wood, although for the most part he considers the other group members equal in rank.
Goals include:
i) Keep Chudleyton clear of hostile Inferi
ii) Set up a revive point in the suburb and recruit Necrotechs into the group to help run it
iii) Offer aid to the Caiger Mall Survivors if the mall is attacked
iv) Establish and implement an Optimal Defense Plan for Chudleyton, including having an entry point for Caiger Mall on the Chudleyton side of the mall (something it lacks now).
Joining The Chudley Cannons
If you're in Chudleyton and want to help, find one of us and ask in person, or post on the talk section of this Wiki page and ask to be included. Currently, we don't have an email address for the group, although this may change if we can think of a good, catchy email handle related to Harry Potter that hasn't already been taken.
Allied Groups
The Chudley Cannons are on friendly terms with Caiger Mall Survivors and Malton Red Cross. Aside from the obvious hordes of Inferi, we have no enemies. A forum through which other survivor groups can contact us to open up diplomatic relations is forthcoming in the near future.
History
Early History
The Cannons were founded by Oliver Wood in February of 2006. The group's first mission was to help the Caiger Mall Survivors hold the mall against a large horde known as Mall Tour '06. Because the Channel 4 News Team was among the other groups helping to hold the mall against the Inferi, we feel a certain obligation to recognize their contribution to the war effort by using this template:

And yes, members of the Cannons did wield tridents in battle against the horde from time to time. We found them in a junkyard.
March 27, 2006
With the Mall Tour gone, the Cannons played a quick game of Quidditch to celebrate our victory. But there is no rest for the weary. Several of the buildings north of the mall, especially Cuthbert General Hospital and Kenefie Lane Police Department, are getting broken into by Inferi on a regular basis. The Cannons arrived in The Loder Museum on March 28, and are in the process of converting it into a temporary headquarters (if the Museum is breached, Barter Row Railway Station, Apsey Library and Club Hodson are all suitable fallback positions adjacent to the Museum).
October 3, 2006
Another group has, without asking, converted the Loder Museum to a VSB building. The Cannons, being a non-PKer group, will take this lying down for the moment despite our justified anger. Club Hodson is the new headquarters, and we will defend it with our lives... this time against humans as well, if necessary.

Caiger Mall and The Latrobe Building are under heavy assault. All members are to go to the mall and aid the survivors inside in whatever way they can.
January 2007
The Cannons are helping out in the defense of The Latrobe Building and Caiger Mall.
