2011 Operations

OPBack.jpg

  • Operation: Back in Ack! Nov 13 - Dec 23, 2011

After a well-deserved vacation, Anaconda once again leaves for a hardcore operation on a red suburb! This time they wander to Havercroft in order to recover Ackland Mall. It was no easy task but they took their positions and battled. For 40 days they battled. Our glorious warriors and their teams did wreak havoc on the zombified residents of Malton. It was hard to believe afterwards but in the middle of a ruined city its half-dead citizens were living once again in luxury.

  • Operation: Pictures at an Exhibition Oct 2 - Nov 4, 2011

The days are getting shorter. The zombies are getting hungrier. The suburbs of Malton rise and fall like the tides of the ocean. And we, The Fortress’ premiere combat team, Team Anaconda, thumb our collective noses at the ruin that surrounds us. We repair and beautify the buildings everywhere we go. We went to prove that there’s still life in Malton by beautifying its historic places. We did spend one week in each of five burbs, searching the museums and placing the artwork we found in the cathedrals.

OPAfter.jpg

  • Mini Operation: The Fortress Afterparty Sep 22 - Oct 2, 2011

After celebrating The Fortress' birthday party with their mates from all over the group, playing pranks, remembering long-forgotten faces, moments and the good ol' ale, the Condas saw themselves in the middle of chaos. The statues were broken, the paintings were wet, dead bodies in the sofa and party hats all over the place. They decided it was time to settle and clean all the waste they had done.

OPDeadliest.jpg

  • Operation: Deadliest Warrior Aug 14 - Sep 21, 2011

A long time ago a challenge was made, a challenge between two deadly, killing machines. The calm and collective Beatlepuss and the cold blooded, axe swinging madman Grevane. To settle the dispute we moved to the battle arena of Spicer Hills. Being split up into two teams, each headed by one of our fearsome warriors. All that was left was a carnage never seen before. Two great warriors, two great killing machines, but we just had to know, Who Is DEADLIEST!!

OPGraffiti.jpg

  • Operation: Graffiti the World Aug 1 - Aug 14, 2011

The Anacondas were sent deep into Houldenbank with aims of recovering the 'burb, normal stuff. But this time they were asked to restock on spray cans till the bone. All loaded up they ganged to tag anything and everything they could find. The walking dead included. Flooding the local pubs, making notable speeches to the large crowds and supporting the newly born, this was a Conda recruitment drive! The suburb saw itself blow in a new wave of art.

StalkersBg.jpg

  • Operation: Stalkers Jul 6 - Aug 1, 2011

With LT Destro Night gone off to assist in running Boot Camp, he thought he would have to go for two weeks without the support of his team. Alas, there was no time for tears of longing, for as soon as the LT arrived at the BC grounds, he turned and found Anaconda hot on his tracks... The Conda's set out to make sure of one thing: Though LT Destro and LT Sac were covering for Chuck's vacation, it would be no vacation for them!

OPSouthern.jpg

  • Operation: Southern Comfort Jun 21 - Jul 6, 2011

We've toured as one big team through Malton, kicking down (building up?) the doors of The Dead, putting them down where ever they go. But now it is time for us to go our own Way again, and do what we do best. Kicking ass! So grab your gear, load your guns, and by god, don't forget the booze!
Goin down south, and bring some of our own Southern Love to the table! So lets get down there. And you can pick your poison on the way!

SparkBg.jpg

  • Operation: Relight The Spark Apr 16 - May 6, 2011

Our allies made a call to Anaconda for assistance, and of course, we immediately answered the call and rushed over to Shore Hills and Hovercroft to lend a pistol packing hand. Anaconda came in and fought alongside members from the DEM Academy, Malton Forensics Unit, and the Malton Police Department. With a combination of straight forward brutal attacks and clever ploys, a fair amount of peace was restored to the DEM Academy grounds, securing them their much needed TRP's and the precious Mall.

OPresident.png

  • Operation: Resident Evil Mar 21 - Apr 16, 2011

One story houses and white picket fences litter this suburb. Lawns are well cared for and gardens are tended to at all times. One of your neighbors always seems to be throwing a barbecue. This was before the zombie attack, Mornington was abandoned for a long time. After all, it is very difficult to protect ranch-style houses from attacks. Perhaps one day, the town will be filled with laughter and happiness, but for right now, everyday is a struggle, but at least we have a home and friends. It's far worse being alone in this mess, the moaning all night is enough to make you lose your mind.

OPPiratesVsNinjas.png

  • Operation: Pirate's V Ninja's Feb 26 - Mar 17, 2011

A fun competitive OP among the members of Anaconda. The participants were divided into Team Pirates and Team Ninjas with the aim of completing tasks and performing actions to collect the most number of points. The teams had to solve and follow clues about the history of Malton and move to specific locations completing the designated challenges.
Team Ninjas: Grevane, Miss Elainious, Thoroaeborus, Elizabeth Mackenzie, Tommy Crowbar, Hawke2019 and Destro Night
Team Pirates: Devom Hampton, Beatlepuss, Igor Dolvitch, Sprontalic2, Milrom Morlim and Samuel Fuchs

This operation saw the debut of Destro Night on Team Anaconda (who also became MVP of this OP). Final scores were:
Ninjas: 14,199
Pirates: 13,565

OPDead.png

  • Operation: Dead Space Feb 13 - Feb 19, 2011

Beginning in the most North Western corner of Stanbury Village, the team struck into the heart of RRF territory in a guerrilla style attack. It seemed that the RRF was asleep though as the assault went largely unanswered. Ridleybank was slowly restored with many buildings repaired and barricaded. This operation resulted in several obtained Assassinations and two Silent Sentinel attempts. The first was successfull but Beatlepuss got ill-starred and found a horde of 22 knocking at his door. Many members died to protect him but the operation was a success with Ridleybank being brightened up from its usually dark state.

OPLeft.png

  • Operation: Left4Dead Feb 3 - Feb 13, 2011

The Team operated around the legendary Caiger Mall. With high zombie activity, many ruined buildings and a high number of PKers in the area following our shadows, the work was centered at the suburb of Darvell Heights preparing the region for an eventual strike at the Mall itself. The surrounding region was quickly restored with the Mall soon following due to the combined efforts of Alexander Brower and Lieutenant Jeremy Monroe. The first attempt did not last long but the powerful duo once again singlehandedly reclaimed the Mall.

ChainofDoomFINAL.jpg

  • Operation: Conda Chain of Doom Jan 28 - Jan 30, 2011

Anaconda embarks on a (attempted) record breaking chain kill! With 11 participants achieving a 32' kills chain lasting almost 32 hours. This chain kill had all the excitement one could expect with Tommy Crowbar surviving amongst a 40 strong zombie horde for 4 hours and Puppiemaster and Jeremy Monroe dying for their link in their chain, sacrificing their 2011 Vigilance Challenge in the process. Great teamwork mean the team was able to last just a few extra hours at the end in order to make the Chain Kill the 4th best in history.

Bogo.png

  • Operation: Bogo Jan 22 - Jan 25, 2011

A joint operation with Dark Watch in Whittenside with the aim of recovering Fort Perryn. After the successful operation Black Ops, the team was well versed in retaking forts. They were so good that by the time they'd gotten there the Fort was already retaken! (technically retaken by Dark Watch in an RTS, but retaken nonetheless). The rest of the op involved hitting the heavily targeted local NT and Hospital. The fort was held easily with the aid of allies so the Op was short lived, but nonetheless successful.

OPMeat.jpg

  • Mini Operation: Meatshield Jan 18 - Jan 20, 2011

Much loved team member Miss Elainious is seriously sick and not able to login to her account while was stuck in Fort Creedy! In order to prevent her from losing the 2010 AND 2011 Vigilance Challenge, the team initiated a search and meatshield effort. After a couple of days, she had recovered without losing a single strand of hair. The mission was a complete success!

Army021.jpg

  • Operation: Black Ops Jan 7 - Jan 18, 2011

Anaconda moved to assist CDF and locals in retaking Giddings Mall. Anaconda knew that Pitneybank was completely ruined with 50+ waiting in the RPs. We knew that in order to get the burb back on its feet we first needed to increase the number of survivors in the area. Anaconda ran 2 mass revive coordinated RTSs over 24 hours, clearing the RPs in quick succession with the Mall being recovered in short order. We also knew that zeds are attracted to a Fort like moths to a flame, so when the Undeadites made an unexpected U-Turn and returned to sack the mall, Anaconda, the Fortress' own tactical machine, countered by recovering the Creedy. The strategy worked and the Fort drew the zeds away from the mall, allowing it to be recovered once again.

2010 Operations

EvsRBadge.png

  • Operation: Elves versus Reindeer Dec 23, 2010 - Jan 4, 2011

For the 2010 Christmas and New Years party, the Fortress returns to F4 for a friendly game of Reindeers vs Elves. Team Anaconda worked with Cold Cell as Reindeers competing with Battlehawk and Dark Watch. The objective was to repair a designated half of a chosen suburb, earning points in the process. The competition took the teams to Shackleville, Tollyton and the dangerous Stanbury Village. Much frivolities were had during the fun operation. In the end the Elves just snuck out in front by 80pts but Anaconda's influence was unquestionable as the combat team that scored the most points, outpartying and outplaying the others.

PubCrawl.png

  • Operation: Pub Crawl Nov 22 - Dec 19, 2010

The Mission: LIBERATE, REPAIR, BARRICADE, DRINK. It'd been a while since a good pissup and Commander Puppiemaster took it upon himself to right this wrong. Through 13 suburbs and 31 pubs, much unsoberity was had. Amongst the drunken debauchery, much newspaper slapping and late night snacking (on each other) were had with Miss Elainious declaring a "newspaper whupass" on the boys. The Op ended at F3 in Buttonville with a reunion with The Randoms before more drunkenness over Christmas.

Fortify.png

  • Operation: Fortify Nov 8 - Nov 22, 2010

Anaconda once again joins BC in retaking F1. The area, having been trampled over by Big Bash 3 was in bad shape with many buildings having high repair costs. With Anaconda's aid Pennville was quickly returned to survivor hands such that it was safe to sleep outside. Whittenside was a bigger struggle as the TRPs in the centre of the suburb became a fierce theatre of war between survivor and zombie. The battle was slowly pushed in favour of the survivors and with pressures easing a couple of attacks on the fort were mounted. Although F1 was retaken only briefly, the two suburbs were well and truly in survivor hands after the operation.

MonstermashB.png

  • Operation: Monster Mash Oct 23 - Nov 8, 2010

With Anaconda running low on supplies and F4 still attracting lots of attention, the other combat teams join in on the operation as part of celebrations for Halloween 2010. The appearance of all four combat team saw immediate results. Within the 2 week operation, the wider Shackleville, Tollyton, Wray Heights and Kempsterbank area was returned to yellow/green status. The operation ended with the teams taking it right to the SFNAS at their base of St Ferreol's Hospital.

HeartB2.png

  • Operation: Open Heart Oct 8 - Oct 23, 2010

With Fortress 4 under heavy attack by the dispersing Big Bash 3 group and the RRF's return to central Malton, Anaconda, always strong protectors of our Fortress bases, charged to the aid of Fortress 4. Anaconda provided assistance to our defenders in F4, also known as The Heart turning the tide for a couple of weeks whilst a Fortress-wide operation was being prepared to provide a large scale restoration of central Malton.

SGT.png

  • Operation: Sergeant at Arms Sep 25 - Oct 7, 2010

Anaconda's tribute OP in recognition of our new Sergeant Igor Dolvitch. Anaconda went to work in Chancelwood, clearing, repairing and cading safe houses for the local population, and of course slaying zeds! The team worked with speed and efficiency and soon had the burb shipshape. We rocked the place in style with a tailgate party following a busy coordinated RT, firing up the BBQ and sharing a few cold ones at Rodges Stadium.

OPDribbling.png

  • Mini Operation: Dribbling Beavers Sep 22 - Sep 25, 2010

Anaconda answers a call for help from their allies, the Dribbling Beavers, at the northwestern suburb of Santtlerville. With a local NT being breached almost daily it was hard for the locals to put up a good fight. Anaconda quickly rushed to the area and the enemy, hearing the news, turned and left, leaving very little for the Combat Team to do.

OPWarlord.jpg

  • Operation: Warlord Games Aug 22 - Sep 16, 2010

Anaconda once again puts on their competition masks as they face each other in a race to recover central Malton in the heart of RRF territory, including Barrville, Galbraith Hills and Stanbury Village. The games were an astounding success and no competitors were put down that night.

OPGhost.png

  • Operation: Ghost in a Shell Aug 8 - Aug 18, 2010

The first Operation by Puppiemaster as Commander of Anaconda is set in Pegton with the aim to recover the suburb from its ghostly state. Less than a week later the suburb is green again and the Team moves to the neighbouring region of Dentonside with the help of their allies the ACC (Army Control Corps).

OPCondaChainKill.png

  • Operation: Conda Summer '10 Chain Kill Jul 31 - Aug 2, 2010

Lucy Daniels final blow before stepping down as Commander of Anaconda. The Condas meet at Mitchen Mall to slaughter the horde at the Conda Summer '10 Chain Kill. 24 zeds were murdered after a single day of work.

OPGrand.png

  • Operation: Grand Prix, Final Lap! Jul 13 - Jul 28, 2010

Once again, Lucy lends her team a series of race cars, designed by the best international projetists, they were happily taken to race around Malton! Race won by Igor Dolvitch.

OPJudge.png

  • Secret Operation: The Judges Crusades Jul 1 - Jul 11, 2010

The Judges have been seen loose. All the Fortress Teams are sent to a different suburb in order to investigate the Judges' appearances. The 'A' Team is sent to West Grayside to investigate Judge Clandestine and to fight him using guerilla tactics. The mission was a resounding success with Anaconda obtaining the best results among all the four Combat Teams.

OPRed.png

  • Operation: Red Corner Jun 8 - Jun 20, 2010

The team was pitched against each other in a competitive Operation with the battleground at New Arkham. The two teams formed were the Shanghai Stereotypes and the Communists Crusaders with the following results:
Communist Crusaders = 815
Shanghai Stereotypes = 740
The best individual scores were obtained by Hawke2019 (250 points, Shanghai) and SpectralHeart (210 points, Communist).

OPWeb.png

  • Operation: Web of Intrigue May 19 - Apr 6, 2010

In a display of sport, Anaconda demonstrated their might by performing in Floyde Stadium in Barrville. Points were given by reviving, healing, cading, repairing and killing zombies. The top scorers:
Beatlepuss: 355
SpectralHeart: 203
Hawke: 201

OPKick.png

  • Operation: Kick Ass May 6 - May 17, 2010

Team Anaconda is taken to the suburb of Havercroft in the first mission led by Puppiemaster. The mission's objectives were to recover Havercroft's infrastucture and to paint it green. Making themselves known while recovering the objectives were met and the mission successfull.

OPEnemy.pngChimerabadge.png

  • Operation: Enemy at the Gates Apr 23 - May 5, 2010

Joint OP with F1, Team Cold Cell and our allies, the FPDF, with the aim of sieging and retaking Fort Perryn. The Fortress wide Chimera Chain Kill also occurred during this time where an astonishing amount of 209 zeds fell to the Fortress soldiers in a record-breaking Chain Kill. The suburb infrastructure got fully repaired and free running paths were cleared. 90 survivors were left to hold the Fort at the end of this Operation. The mission was a complete success.

JointS.png

  • Operation: Joint Strike Apr 13 - Apr 21, 2010

Lt Hawke lead this OP as part of Anaconda's 'Write your own OP' system. Joint Strike saw Anaconda working in Stanbury Village with Boot Camp, the operation gave Boot Camp recruits the oporunity to engage in Real Time Strikes and get a little taste of the Combat Team life they will enoy after completing their stint in Boot Camp. This short but productive OP saw the combined efforts of BC and Anaconda repair and reclaim the area with comraderie and finesse.

Greenzone.png

  • Operation: GreenZone Mar 23 - Apr 10, 2010

Anaconda moved to East Grayside in a successful operation that saw the red burb turn green. Anaconda achieved their objectives of clearing RPs, recovering resource buildings, providing safe houses for the local population and lighting up freshly repaired ruined dark buildings in their usual efficient manner. The team worked with allies Knights Templar to rebuild East Grayside and left the burb in great shape.

Hideseekbadge-1.png

  • Operation: Hide and Seek Mar 10 - Mar 20, 2010

The entire city was looking pretty good, so Team Anaconda grabbed some newspapers and played a little Hide and Seek in Central Malton! With many giggles, the rest of the Condas ran away from the Seekers and dug into their best hiding spots. Soon after the cry, "Ready or not, here I come!", the newspaper slapping began! Many real-time slaps were issued, and somehow, triple-slaps and toolboxes got introduced into the fray.

Suddenly, the Condas found the best target of them all: Miss Elainious was hiding in Ridleybank! Hiders and Seekers alike descended upon Miss E, newspapers a-slappin' like crazy. She exacted her revenge by taking a bite out of Lucy. In the end, everyone was laughing, covered in newsprint.

Opsig2-1.png

  • Operation: Malton Chainsaw Massacre Feb 20 - Mar 6, 2010

Verdict: Success! Team Anaconda originally had intended only to operate in the suburb of East Becktown but one suburb proved to be too little for Anaconda, the operation was gradually increased to include West Becktown and Darvall Heights.

The participants competed against each other to see who could get the most points in specific categories, which resulted in amazing feats of zombie killing, ruin excavation, blood stopping and necromancy.

The Final Scores:

KILLS: Beats, Spec - 11

REVIVES: Tiago -13

CADES: Spec - 64

REPAIRS: Wes - 77

Roadtoperditionbadge.png

  • Operation: Road to Perdition Feb 3 - Feb 17, 2010

Team Anaconda moved into South Blythville to slow down the MOB so that civilians could be evacuated from Locketside, for those who don't know. Well they would have to out number us 3 to 1 for it to be even a fair fight.

Despite all odds Anaconda pulled through reviving many lost souls and saving the lives of dozens of civilians. Eventually the Team decided to pull out after the civilians were safely away and nothing more could be done for the buildings. When the Mob moved on all they found were empty buildings.

Sherlock.png

  • Operation: Sherlock Holmes Jan 23 - Feb 3, 2010

The Condas receive a distress call from the citizens of Lockettside and Ruddlebank, but a page of their request was unreadable! By completing certain tasks around the suburb, the Condas were able to collect clues and piece together the final task. The four Condas who solved the mystery were:

1. Tiago Ferreira
2. Officer Duncan
3. Den Brotheridge
4. Hawke2019

Tiago only beat out Duncan by 4 minutes!! Congrats to everyone on a mystery solved and a mission well-done!
