Basic Info:

History

Once a thriving office complex, Hatson Building was well known for the 2 storey waterfall in the lobby. In the early outbreaks, many survivors camped out there using the source of water to sustain themselves. As it became evident that rescue was never coming survivors turned on each other squabbling over the dwindling resources. Eventually, the once breathtaking fountain was clogged with human waste and used bandages. It stands now a health hazard potentially spreading disease and serving as a breeding ground for rats.

Current Status

Outside

You are standing outside the Hatson Building, an imposing concrete building which has partially collapsed. The building's doors have been left wide open, and you can see that the interior of the building has been ruined for some time.

Inside

You are inside the Hatson Building. The building has been completely ransacked, and has fallen into ruin. The walls are damp and crumbling, with pools of stagnant water gathering across the uneven floor. A few bloody handprints are smeared across the wall. The doors to the street have been left wide open.

Barricade Policy

Zombie Barricade Plan

This building should not be barricaded and instead Ruined in accordance with The Dead Barricade Plan set forth by local zombies, who routinely monitor the barricade level for this building. This building is meant to serve as a safehouse for Malton's veteran zombies. Zombies who find the building's barricades above their assigned level are asked to assist in lowering them in order to help ensure the safety of all the zombies inside the building. Any survivor found raising the barricades may be directly "put to the question" by any zombies present at that time. If this happens the accused survivor must present a valid reason for their actions or be labeled a human sympathizer and be judged accordingly.
