Current Status

The main income of the possessors of the Sherren Building came from the Maltel-operated phone mast that blinked on the rooftop. However, office space was also rented out to shady drug companies and call center builders.
When the infection broke out, everybody who worked there evacuated, knowing that the offices were not a suitable place for long-term survival.
Over time, however, the remaining survivors realised the significance of the phone mast, one of only a few which were still intact; this was due to the unassuming design of the block, which gave a facade of unimportance.
