Basic Info:

Description

The Standen Building is one of Malton's 15 'islands'.

The striking Standen Building towers above most of the surrounding buildings in the near empty suburb of Crooketon. Once a throbbing centre of activity, the isolated building was empty for a long time until the A.A.C. Survivors claimed it as their stronghold and stiffened local resistance.

History

Erected in 1988, the Standen Building was a shining example of human architecture. It is now a little old-fashioned but still stands out, tall and proud, on the low-rise Crooketon skyline.

The A.A.C. Survivors have made their mark on the Standen building and the surrounding area.

Barricade Policy

In accordance with A.A.C. guidelines this building has no strict barricade policy but will be kept at VSB at all times unless this is deemed unacceptable by the A.A.C. Survivors.
