December 2010

  • December 13

Tynte mall is basically lost. The barricade status is unknown, but likely to be at zero with at least 5 zombies inside and 1 survivor. Some buildings surrounding the mall are still Extremely Heavily Barricaded with survivors and the revive point at the park is still operational. However, it is NOT safe to be in Tynte Mall, and it is NOT a fort.

The south-west corner is at Very Heavily Barricaded, with 10 survivors and a running generator inside, as well as 1 zombie and 5 bodies outside.

The south-east corner has no barricades, had 8 survivors and 3 zombies inside last I checked, no generator or radio transmitter, as well as 6 zombies and 1 body outside.

The north-east corner's generator is unfueled, the rest's are running. Infrastructure 15:43, 24 March 2010 (UTC)

August 2008

The Mall is essentially safe, with all four corners powered. There are occasional minor zombie break-ins, most of which are repelled before they can do much damage. A large fraction of the current Mall population seems to be made up of Malton Rangers. - TechEwan 02:03, 2 August 2008 (BST)

July 2008

  • July 23

Mall is in survivor hands and powered, though population is fairly low. The zombie population outside is not too considerable, however, and the area, for the moment, appears safe. - Dimmswick 01:24, 24 July 2008 (BST)

Just ran through Tynte mall, in zed hands though not overly large population in the mall or on the out side. THe mall is ruined and the doors are opened.

NW Corner - 1 zed inside; NE Corner - 4 zeds inside, 2 outside; SE Corner - 1 zed inside; SW Corner - 1 zed inside, 2 outside.

22 zeds outside in a two block radius around the mall with 1 outside nutall museum 4 outside Retalick and 2 at Lasder. Didn't have time to check the interior of any buildings beyond the mall, needed to get to a safe house. This means there is about 33 zeds in and around Tynte mall. --Raith Darkblade 17:56, 12 June 2008 (BST)

All is fine, the barricades are up and there are no zombies in sight, excapt those who want to be revived. At the moment the Mall is a safe place to be in Pimbank.

March 2006

After a week-long siege, starting on the 1st March, attacks by the RRF began to regularly breach the barricades by th 7th, leaving zombie hordes in all four corners. The RRF has completely overrun Tynte Mall on March 8. All survivors fled or were killed. However, the Mall was back in survivor hands after a coordinated attack on the next day.

January 2006

Beginning on the morning of January 4, organized zombies with the Mall Tour '06 began to attack the mall. By mid-afternoon, more than 30 zombies had breached the SW corner and killed most of the survivors in that section. Tynte fell and all safehouses in the area were destroyed by the 5th of January. Virtually no human presence was left in Pimbank. Human casualties at Tynte are estimated to be anywhere from 100-175.

The fall of Tynte heralded the birth of Mall Tour '06, though the defeat of both Nichols Mall and Stickling Mall in the preceding days were retrospectively included in the Tour (as Mall Tourists were involved in both sieges).

By January 11th, members of the Tynte Mall Union had received revives from members of the Randallbank Coalition and, along with Johnny V's Cabal and random survivors in the area, had established several safehouses and were making regular barricade runs to Tynte. Members of the Creedy Defense Force and the Tynte Mall Union, with the assistance of other survivor groups, had resecured the mall by January 14th. However zombie precence in the area remained high, and by the 25th January feral zombies and members of various groups as well as random survivors battled for the Mall. Zombies broke into the mall to find it empty, only to be killed and dumped.

Late December 05

Feral zombie numbers steadily increased in the western half of Pimbank and it looked like an attack of some kind on the mall was in the works. At this time, various unaffiliated survivors in the mall started to form the Tynte Mall Union to defend the mall they had come to call home. At this time, members of the Creedy Defense Force fell back due to increased attacks on buildings in Peppardville. Several members of the Randallbank Coalition arrived to assist with the upcoming defense of the mall.

September 05

Tynte Mall was the site of a massacre led by the Undying Scourge in the middle of September, 2005. Total human casualties there were estimated at 40-50.

  • September 18, 2007

The retake the malls tour did their job and moved on for more than a week now. And with the zombie resistance crushed the place is back to normal with gens and radios and survivors over 70+ strong spread out. And for now the place is practically a utopia with few PKing, no over barricading of entry points, nor destroying of generators. If this keeps up more and more survivors could be drawn back to make the place a stronghold once again. -- JD 00:36, 19 September 2007 (BST)

  • September 3, 2007

NE and SW corners are ruined. We are currently using Bradbury Library as a fall back point. I advise everybody to evacuate there as we do not have the manpower to hold the mall any longer. Once the mall is empty I will direct people to safe points in Peppardville where the CDF are currently securing. --Rebelhawk250 12:20, 3 September 2007 (BST)

The Northwest quad was ruined earlier in the day, followed just recently by the Southeast quad. Not a single survivor remains inside the mall, with approximately 80 zombies spread throughout the 4 quads. - Brona 22:39, 3 September 2007 (BST)
Tynte Mall fell... *sigh* I was there as the last of us were massacred in the South East corner. I decided to retreat when there was just 9 left, 20 minutes later when I came back everyone was dead and the building was ruined. There's some talk of trying to retake it, I don't know if that's possible with our numbers. Right now we just gotta concentrate on organizing and safeguarding everyone who's still breathing Alex the Red 23:28, 3 September 2007 (BST)

There don't seem to be many revive points around the mall. You're gonna need to open up some new ones because there's a whole lot of people waiting. My character's name is matthadeus. -User:Vinko pribojevic 13:20, 2 September 2007 (EST)

Pimbank has the major disadvantage of having no necrotech buildings. This means revives can be slow, unless you are willing to travel to another suburb.Studoku 01:11, 4 September 2007 (BST)

People safe in the forts do not care for those of you fighting for other suburbs. I admit my mistake in leaving those places for good and hope to people that are so selfish that they do not care for the suffering of others. NW corner is being hit somewhat hard, but if we keep up our work, we can keep this mall safe very soon. I will be moving on to the next mall with the tour as soon as this one is up on its feet. Was a pleasure fighting with you all. - Wesk

The demolition of Tynte mall is complete. Members of the Militant Order of Barhah and their zethren have finished the process of exterminating the survivors too stubborn, or too slow to get out of the way. There are about 30 zombie attacking the top right corner of the mall and rising. An estimated amount of 30 dead bodies are at the top right corner creating a total of 60-70 zombies and rising. EDIT: There are now 40 zeds and 37 dead bodies in the top right corner! Making a total of 77 zeds in just a quarter of the mall! A contingent of the Zone Defenders continues to defend Tynte mall, and the LCD has made the mall its base of operations. Break-ins are still common, though, as defender numbers are under 150, and the Mark NT building 3E is in desperate need of backup. -JodoYodo 03:32, 16 July 2007 (BST)

The Undead moved quickly and took the SE and SW corner. I guess Tynte will fall in a few hours or a day or so. Everyone pull back to Hildebrand. We now must set up scouting parties to locate LUE when they hide in buildings, when you find alot of them hiding, get as fast as you can back to base and then brace yourselves. Plus for all you people who are in on The Code the next target is 5h6983h -John spiro
It seems that this horde is moving east and destroying malls in their way from what I've been able to gather so on so my guess is they are moving to Giddings Mall next and possible Fort Creedy on the way. Just figured I'd bring that to attention for all reading about the latest of the malls to fall to LUE.--Major Striker 04:10, 2 July 2007 (BST)

May

May 29th, 2007

Tynte Mall has a minimal number of zeds operating nearby. The entirety of the Pimbank suburb appears to be in a lull of zombie activity at this point. All corners of the mall are barricaded and powered.

May 17th, 2007

The Drama Club staged a performance of "Apocalypse Now" in the NW corner of Tynte Mall for the 52 survivors there as part of their Outward Spiral Tour of Malton. The group plans to travel in a counter-clockwise expanding spiral from the center of the town to the outer edges. See their group page for performing groups and schedules.

Unholy spawns of Satin? Well, sir; I have had it with you cotton-loving harmanz putting down our silky soft ancestry. I'll be seeing you at Ackland, and I will righteously maul thee unto bloddy ribbons, in the name of Satin! - Drogtor

Breakins already reported at Tynte, the SW corner holds less than forty humans and a dozen zombies, with 167 already lined up outside and the bulk of the Mall tourists on their way. Mall Tourists can look forward to a light snack and some being able to find some great bargains on "a stuffed eagle, three stuffed lion heads, three stuffed monkeys, a stuffed crocodile, a glass table, a stuffed bear, a stuffed tiger head and a glass vase." No word yet on if the stuffed bear and monkeys will be zombified and join the tour or if they'll just be eaten as a garnish with the brainz of the survivors. --Electrasol 23:31, 26 March 2007 (BST)

i'm not confifdant that the mall tour will find much food, what with the fact that the SW cades went down with a little help from yours truly, and the zombies outside are stirring. if this attack follows the shacknews timing, the defenders are eaten already. As Shacknews ferals became bored with Giddings Mall, they moved west, and promptly breached the barricades, only to find the harmanz gone! every corner had barricades and christmas trees/lights, but not a single survivor there! |One can only presume that they are just as cowardly as PTT. Tynte Mall back in human control.
The last weeks have seen continued back-and-forth battles, but the mall has come back under complete human control for the time being. The lights are partially on again, and a Christmas tree is providing some rare good cheer to the survivors who have come to the mall's defense. Members of the Loose Cannons have pitched in to help the remaining members of Tynte Mall Union get the situation under control.

December 3, 2006

Tynte Mall in the hands of the undead.
Half the mall is ransacked and open to the streets, and no survivors are inside the premises. About ten zombies occupy the eastern half of the mall, with fifteen more zeds scattered around the four corners outside the mall. Free-running survivors continue to harass the occupying zeds in raids from adjacent buildings.

November 06

November 22, 2006

Tynte Mall has been cleared.
All zeds/bodies removed and all corners EHB. Power is back in NW and SW corners. There are 22 zeds outside the SE corner. More survivors are needed to hold the mall and we need to cut down the revive queue.

November 8, 2006

Tynte Mall has fallen.
30 zombies inside the mall, a few dozen more surrounding it. Doesn't look like the work of an organised group, just a large group of random stenches.
Doors down to "secured" in the SE corner.

November 7, 2006

About to fall again?
There are close to 40 zombies inside the mall versus as many survivors. SE corner has been ransacked, there are 14 zombies here. There is still light and power in the NW corner and the outlying buildings are populated/barricaded, but the survivors are spread out and disorganised. We're not going to last long.

October 06

October 16, 2006

Tynte mall has fallen.
There are approximately 80 zombies now inside the mall. The northeast corner remains ransacked and contains 40-odd zombies. The writing on the wall confirms these are zeds from RRF/FU

October 16, 2006

The northeast corner of Tynte Mall has fallen to the zombie siege and has been ransacked. Survivor resistance within the mall is waning as zombies from the RRF and Feral Undead spread out to the other corners to feast.

October 15, 2006

The northeast corner of Tynte Mall is under siege from around 70+ zombies, with break-ins occurring occasionally. Zombies are focusing on that corner of the mall in order to clear it and ransack it.

October 13, 2006

Nichols Mall to the south west has been completely overrun and is now occupied by a huge force of undead. Soon after this mall fell, without easy access to resources, the Blackmore Building to the west was taken and this last bastion of survivors slaughtered to leave Ridleybank under undead rule. Hildebrand Mall to the south is still lost, and Woodroffe Mall further south is also deserted, with survivors being forced to loiter in neighbouring buildings due to constant breakins.
Tynte mall is now the focus for resources in this entire area. The possibility of concentrated attack is very likely.

October 11, 2006

Depleted population in a corner results in break-ins as survivors move to denser areas rather than commit to defence. The ever vigilant Tynte Mall Union manage to restore order, but the sudden and massive assault on Nichols Mall suggests that Tynte may come under a more prolonged and serious attack as part of an effort to cut off bargain hunting Blackmore Building survivors from essential resources in their ongoing defence of that location from a massive horde of RRF. With Hildebrand Mall still under the dominion of the the Apocalypse Horde, the fate the Blackmore clearly rests on Tynte and Nichols remaining un-ransacked.

October 10, 2006

4Z break-in at the northeast corner of the mall.

October 03, 2006

5 (or more) Zeds break into the south west corner of the mall. And Generators in the mall are constantly destroyed by GKers

September 06

September 23, 2006

Mall remains secure in the hands of survivors. Occasional zombie incursions in surrounding buildings, but only a few persistent generator saboteurs trouble the peaceful shopping and recreation of the denizens of the mall proper.

September 1, 2006

All four corners are barricaded, the lights are on and people are home.

August 06

August 5, 2006

One 20+ zombie horde is located outside the northeast corner. The barricade had been destroyed earlier (once again, in the northeast corner), but has been rebuilt. Many survivors have taken back the mall, with only 1 or 2 zombies inside.

July 06

July 15, 2006

The Apocalypse Horde head east.

July 14, 2006

Tynte Mall falls to the RRF's DoHS and feral zombies. The Mall has then been dedicated in the name of Hungerer, a retired leader of the RRF.
The Apocalypse Horde penetrate and ransack Mare Auto Repair where many survivors of the Mall assault had retreated to, and also ransack the Nunn Necrotech Building.

July 13, 2006

The last survivors in Tynte Mall are slain and The Apocalypse Horde ransack the corners.

July 12, 2006

The primary force of The Apocalypse Horde begin an assault on Tynte Mall. Several corners are breached allowing both the Horde and local zombies to pour in. Over forty survivors including many Tynte Mall Union members are slain.

July 11, 2006

Tynte Mall comes under attack by scouts of the The Apocalypse Horde

April 06

April 16, 2006

Orchestrated attacks on Tynte Mall and its surrounding buildings have decimated the local survivor groups. While the horde responsible has moved on, the new slower revive rate has left the mall sparsely populated until the Tynte Mall Union can reconstitute itself.

March 06

March 7, 2006

After a week-long siege, attacks by the RRF have begun to regularly breach the barricades, leaving zombie hordes in all four corners. The mall seems sure to be completely overrun in the next day or so.

March 8, 2006

The RRF has completely overrun Tynte Mall. All survivors have fled or been killed.

March 9, 2006

The Mall is back in survivor hands after a coordinated attack. The Alliance of Giddings and other allied groups began reviving fallen men totalling 50 so far.

February 06

February 10, 2006

Zombie numbers over the SE corner start to drop quite rapidly leading some survivors to begin repopulating the mall.

February 24, 2006

The mall is now well populated by surviors, with about 80 in each corner.

January 06

Beginning on the morning of January 4, organized zombies with the Mall Tour '06 began to attack the mall. By mid-afternoon, more than 30 zombies had breached the SW corner and killed most of the survivors in that section.

January 5, 2006

Tynte Mall has fallen and all safehouses in the area have been opened up. Virtually no human presence in Pimbank.

January 11, 2006

By January 11th, members of the Tynte Mall Union had received revives from members of the Randallbank Coalition and, along with Johnny V's Cabal and random survivors in the area, had established several safehouses and were making regular barricade runs to Tynte.

January 14, 2006

Members of the Creedy Defense Force and the Tynte Mall Union with the assistance of other survivor groups have resecured the mall. While there are still many ferals in the area, they have established a revive point at Breddy Park [66, 41] and are attempting to get as many survivors revived as possible. It is recommended that people sleep in buildings around the mall rather than the mall itself for the next few days, as the low amount of defenders actually in the mall leads to frequent break-ins.

January 23, 2006

With three groups (Creedy Defense Force, Tynte Mall Union and Randallbank Coalition) maintaining a constant presence in and around the mall, the area is growing safe once again. All nearby survivors are asked to come reinforce the mall and hold it. Highest danger is outside the SW corner.

January 25

Feral zombies and members of various groups as well as random survivors battle for the Mall. Zombies continue to break into the mall to find it empty, only to be killed and dumped. The Creedy Defense Force has asked several allied groups at Giddings to come repopulate the mall and help finish cleaning out the ferals in the area.

Total human casualties there are estimated at 40-50.
