MOB/Mob

The two pages are re-directed to the militant Order of BARHAR.Every time I change it so it can have both Malton Mob and militant Order of BARHAR and what it means in game a guy keeps changing it back say that we are trying to steal there glory. Now when you type in CDF links for both Crossman and Creedy come up.Why not for this too.Seloth 23:44, 8 June 2007 (GMT)

Because both Crossman and Creedy were/are large groups and famous for several things. Your group consists of less than 20 and has done *nothing*; my group is over 70 and has *smashed suburbs*. We are the MOB; you are the "Malton Mob." Attempts to change our abbreviation redirect are just like when the "Ridleybank Reclamation Force" tried to get the RRF redirect changed - just crap attempts to steal link traffic. There are several links directly to the Mob redirect page that are *about us*; you're trying to pimp your group by using our glory and I won't have it.--Jorm 20:43, 9 June 2007 (BST)
What I see is that you are a lousy [person] who wants all the glory. You even said it in your post. -- Dance Emot.gifTheDavibob T 21:14, 9 June 2007 (BST)

OK. The Malton Mob was created in September 2006, the Militant Order of Barhah was created in Februaru 2007. The same day the second was created, they redirected Mob and MOB to their group page. To solve this issue we can create a link to mob (disambiguation) in the Militant Order of Barhah, and let the active redirections point to it. Fact is: while the Order is greater than the Malton Mob, they were here first and so they have ~some~ right to use this link. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 22:43, 9 June 2007 (BST)

I'm going to disagree. The core of the MOB was created in September, 2005. And you and I both know that this little group is going to disappear in a month, maybe 2. Tops. We're in the top 10 as far as group sizes go; these guys barely make the stats page - and apparently NO ONE refers to them as "the mob" except the leader of the group - because, if they had, those redirects WOULD ALREADY HAVE BEEN MADE. So that logic doesn't hold water.--Jorm 22:51, 9 June 2007 (BST)
Both arguement are crap; What are you?Seven year old school children arguing over a bus seat?.It does not matter who was here first or how big the groups are. A solution to this problem to link both is to the disambiguation page Hagnat talked about. --User:Axe27/Sig 23:54, 9 June 2007 (BST)
I agree: this is no reason to start a case. A disambiguation page is the logic solution as Hagnat pointed out, and a way to strenghten his argument is that the Christian Decency Fundation, an unknown group with even less history that the Malton Mob created by Scinfaxi and Jjames, shared the CDF page until the group was deleted (and I'm sure because I deleted the entry on the disambiguation page myself). Wikipedia itself uses disambiguation pages no matter what level of importance the different articles have. --Matthew Fahrenheit YRCT+1 02:41, 10 June 2007 (BST)
O RLY? --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 02:53, 10 June 2007 (BST)
look, i dont think everyone understood what i was trying to tell above... (mainly because i was in a hurry). The idea is:
the great example for how it will look is to follow my O RLY link above... wikipedia copy-pasta ftw! --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 03:09, 10 June 2007 (BST)
Is it possible to only have that show up if someone arrives from MOB and not Militant Order of Barhah?--Jorm 03:12, 10 June 2007 (BST)
I worked out on a fix for it. Hope it solves this whole issue. That the kind of thing we Brazilians call gambiarra. He. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 03:27, 10 June 2007 (BST)
This is acceptable to me. But know that the instant these guys drop off the stats page (next week sometime), I'm reverting it back.--Jorm 03:34, 10 June 2007 (BST)
Also, nice trick.--Jorm 03:39, 10 June 2007 (BST)
The trick is now complete :) --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 03:44, 10 June 2007 (BST)
I'm wondering why don't you kiss each other. And I liked this version of the disambiguation page, before Axe changed it. Jorm's argument was that "they whould steal his traffic", but now anyone that inputs Mob in order to see the Malton Mob page would inevitabily give traffic to the Militant Order of Barhah. I see irony and a Sysop friendship paying off. --Matthew Fahrenheit YRCT+1 03:54, 10 June 2007 (BST)
You're just sore 'cause I think you'd be a lame sysop.--Jorm 03:57, 10 June 2007 (BST)
Wrong. My only concern right now is that the other part accept this changes as legitimate and doesn't feel pressured because two quite popular users are against him. If he accepts them, cool, if he doesn't, it's his right. Anyways, I'll ignore your insults and wait here until he states his position. --Matthew Fahrenheit YRCT+1 04:05, 10 June 2007 (BST)
Mob and MOB were for months pointing to the Militant Order of Barhah. Suddenly someone decides it should point to a disambiguation page. And so it does now. There is no one against no one. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 04:17, 10 June 2007 (BST)
And i wont deny that i am pro-zombie and know nothing about the Malton Mob to write about them in the disambiguation page. My edit there was meant to wait for someone to write something about them.--People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 04:23, 10 June 2007 (BST)
I feel the issue it resolved now. I wrote something done so that Seloth could come in later and write a more detailed entry. --User:Axe27/Sig 04:37, 10 June 2007 (BST)
Looks like a decent outcome, given the difference in importance in the two groups, and the established links. One thing I don't like though, is the custom title. Does it actually work for anyone else? It looks for shit here, always has -- boxy T L ZS Nuts2U DA 05:31, 10 June 2007 (BST)
Must be the mediawiki theme you are using. The custom title template works perfectly for the default mediawiki theme. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 05:34, 10 June 2007 (BST)
Ah, never thought of that. Will go have a look at it later (I like this one though... pouts) -- boxy T L ZS Nuts2U DA 05:49, 10 June 2007 (BST)
Guys, move this discussion to the talk page so we don't make the arbitration log any longer than it needs to be. --User:Axe27/Sig 06:29, 10 June 2007 (BST)
HAY GUYS, WUZ CUMMIN IN DIS THREAD???/? --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 06:31, 10 June 2007 (BST)
What the.......Ok, what? --User:Axe27/Sig 06:38, 10 June 2007 (BST)
Hey, we are kind of running out of air in here. Its almost like we were playing Drownball in here. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 06:41, 10 June 2007 (BST)
Hagnat, your not drunk are you? --User:Axe27/Sig 06:46, 10 June 2007 (BST)
Nope. Not at all. Mildly sleepy due to night shift work at home on a saturday. And i am bored. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 06:52, 10 June 2007 (BST)
* GASP * Can't Breathe! * Fall asleep * --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 06:51, 10 June 2007 (BST)

I have to laugh at Jorm why he thinks the Malton Mob will disappear off the stats in a week,We've been going since last July((A second page was made by accident in September and the original was deleted)) and still doing fine. And the mob have done plenty of famous things, you just don't look around enough.Seloth 20:27, 11 June 2007 (GMT)

Why does it still redirect me to the Militant order of Barhah Seloth 20:36, 11 June 2007 (GMT)
it still redirects to the Order because it was the redirect THEY created in february. You want to share it, fine, but it will be done the way it is now. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 02:35, 12 June 2007 (BST)

Case over, can we archive it ? --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 03:25, 15 June 2007 (BST)
