This page is for the requesting of page moves by normal users. The average user's ability to move pages has been rescinded due to frequent abuse by vandals; as such, users will need to submit requests (similar in nature to those on Speedy Deletions and Protections) for pages to be moved by a sysop.

Guidelines for requesting a Page Move

Copy the template below (Or just type it), replace the text in red with the relevant details, and paste the template under the Move Request Queue heading. A day after a sysop has taken action on the request, move requests should be moved to the Archive.

BLADES IS WATCHIN' and I SEE YOU, CHOCOLATE MAN!

Yonn put in a move request for these back in september and it was cycled then. However checking into the pages I'd like to make a case for them being moved to the user's subpages again. These are fine articles, but both pages are the sole creation of User:Blades, and are essentially self-promotions for him and his group. While the more ubiquitous STREETS IS WATCHIN' can be considered a legitimate urban dead phenomenon, in my travels in UD I've yet to encounter the Blades tag and I'd be surprised if anyone but Blades is tagging it.
Furthermore, if every bit of graffiti is allowed to have it's own page in the mainspace it kinda opens the door for every group or user with a spray can and a wiki account to create one. Not saying there's going to be a flood of these articles, but it would be nice to have some clear precedent on this. We already have the Great Graffiti page for this kind of stuff.
There are a small handful of incoming links that would have to be redirected (user signature and streets is watchin), but it should be a fairly straightforward move. Other than that, there's nothing stopping the user from linking to these pages under Great Graffiti or even making redirects for the two search phrases to his userspace if he feels that people are searching for these and he would be losing a lot of incoming traffic by the move.--_GANG Giles Sednik _CAPD 06:15, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

I wholeheartedly support this, but as I was the one who put up the request last time, and it was over-ruled, I'll let somebody else voice their opinion first. AoFC Building Information Center

It's a BIC for buildings in the region of Fort Creedy. I'd either like it as a subpage of Alliance of Fort Creedy (as it's their page) or of Building Information Center, if we feel it's transcended beign a group subpage. Gotcha, and yeah, a BIC subpage would hopefully be broadly useful to the population as a whole, but this one is targeted at the group's area of operations, and it was made for their own purposes, so it makes sense to keep it with them. —Aichon— 20:37, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
