This policy simply eliminates Criteria 12 from the Speedy Deletions system.

Gone. Eliminated. Erased. No more.

NO MORE WILL I HAVE TO TYPE "Keep All" AFTER EVERY CRITERIA 12 ADDITION!

NO MORE WILL VANTAR CURSE MY NAME AS HE MANUALLY ADDS EACH CRITERIA 12 ELEMENT TO STRAIGHT DELETIONS!

It's a stupid criteria anyway.

  34. For - Some of us just do not have the time to make updates constantly. That does not mean we want all of the previous work to be destroyed. As for new users littering the place with pages and then disappearing - hazard of the format. It does not affect the casual user I have found. --Bette Noir 04:12, 4 September 2007 (BST)

  4. So the idea is to harass the sysops each time a group is up for criterion 12, then attempt to force a policy through, otherwise you will continue to do it if you don't get your way? How is this not vandalism? --Amanu Jaku 07:00, 31 August 2007 (BST)
Well, it's Jorm's trademark. Remember the BoB? --Matthew Fahrenheit YRCT+1 07:31, 31 August 2007 (BST)
Dude, this has nothing to do with that. I am and have been an inclusionist from day 0; I'm certain there are archived arguments between me and Xoid about this. My position on keeping rather than deleting is totally politically neutral and has never changed. So please don't make this about politics; it really, truly, has nothing to do with them.--Jorm 07:33, 31 August 2007 (BST)
It's ok, I was just making a joke. Did you note that I'm not voting? that's because while I don't agree with the change as it is, I consider it petty to oppose it just because of minnor issues. That, and that it's preferable to keep more than needed than delete unwarrantedly. --Matthew Fahrenheit YRCT+1 08:55, 31 August 2007 (BST)
hmmmmmn... twasn't a funny, joke, dude... i'm abstaining from this one, anyway, as well, lack of knowledge/background to make an informed decision... Cheers. --WanYao 17:33, 31 August 2007 (BST)
  5. -- The length should be changed from a month to three.--Roger Thirnell 00:07, 1 September 2007 (BST)
  6. --this is a 'criterion.' 'Criteria' are plural. If it were a vote to eliminate two or more criteria I would vote yes in a heartbeat. However, in keeping with the pedantic nature of this wiki I must vote no because it is unclear. --otherlleft W! 20:29, 1 September 2007 (BST)
  7. I actually hate it when noobs make groups that disappear in two days. --Sonny Corleone RRF DORIS CRF pr0n 05:07, 3 September 2007 (BST)
  8. First off, because Jorm caused A/D to be spammed with crit 12's for ages before bringing this here... that and the wording here smacks of blackmail. Secondly, because this policy will continue that spamming of A/D. There are huge amounts of "go nowhere" groups created each week on this wiki. The pages are half-made and then abandoned when no-one else wants to join. Here's only one example from the batch that was forced onto A/D. If you don't like crit 12 as it is, modify it so that it only deals with these types of group pages that have never been updated after their creation The preceding signed comment was added by boxy (talkcontribs) at 13:38 4 September 2007 (BST)

  11. I created Crit 12, and I personally believe that it is the right choice. Groups that only exist for 2 weeks in the minds of the creator do not belong on this wiki. --Darth Sensitive Talk W! 04:38, 15 September 2007 (BST)
